$89 for a handmade wooden bottom-feeder seems like a bargain to me. I really can't justify it at the moment but that won't stop me from gazing adoringly at the website.

All this talk of bottom feeder love tonight... finally pulled the trigger on a custom mini after putting it in the cart and deciding not to at least 50 times. start the 4 week countdown :)

The more I follow this thread the more I wish I wasn't POOR :D. I keep trying to figure out how to get a supply of "well-steeped" juices without just resorting (to not so great) other juices while waiting for my supply of NETs to steep. I know I could just start vaping on the juices I have instead of letting them steep, as they are not terrible one week in, but I really want to let them realize their full potential. One of these days I will get in the black with my savings and then I'm going to start setting aside the analog cost each week for this new hobby of mine. :D Happy vaping this Wednesday!! :vapor:

You'll see the savings soon enough. I'm not sure how much you vape, but dripping I vape pretty consistantly and it's still only a few ml per day. Having 30+ flavors at a time and several hundred ml, I go months without ordering a single thing. And since I only get to each flavor for a couple hours every few days all the juices last a long time.

One thing I learned for myself is to space out when I try new juices. I buy a bunch at a time but slowly add the new flavors to the rotation, so I'm not trying a bunch of new juices at once and then having to go a long time while vaping them up before trying something new. When I did a buying freeze before because I had so much juice it sucked because I had tried everything. Going much easier this time, haven't bought any new juice for months but still own several I still haven't tried.

Native NYer/expat here. But I've changed my avatar back to Erté. Having a Rangers logo now is just embarrassing.:(

I had no idea you were from NY. My Aussie Aussie Aussie chants are entirely inappropriate now. I'm from Rego Park, but have lost my license as a New Yorker after 13 years in California.

Oh and since most of us in this thread are connoisseurs of fine eliquid and not just tobaccos, check out 5 pawns out of California. It is some damn expensive liquid but wow are they interesting and complex. I've been vaping absolute pin and Patriot(of course) the last 2 days!!

Excellent. Warning: I'm totally buzzed right now. I went to Beer Belly LA and gave the marketing manager some Vurley to try. It was an eye opening experience for him. Like I've heard many times before, he said, "I didn't tobacco juices could taste like this!" Hopefully it's enough to get him of cigarettes.

Yup yup. Born and raised in Manhattan, lived in the Bronx after school, coming up on the 10th anniversary of my move to the southern hemisphere. Still sound like I just got off the 1 train. Except I say "chemist" instead of "drugstore".

Pro-tip: using the word "root" as a verb, as in rooting for your favorite team, is not done in Australia. It is a euphemism for, um, the marital act. :) I was the .... of more than a few jokes before figuring that out.

HOLY COW that place looks amaaaaaazing. I want to eat everything on the menu and wash it down with every beer on the menu. Maybe by the time I get there (usually February-March) it will be vape friendly :)

So here is my contribution tonight having mixed things up in my vaping tackle box.

I have GEJ's Wrangler in my Vapeonly BCC full size and Vaperite's Toscan Tobacco in my Igo-L.

So first things first; the IgO-L is my favourite dripping RBA. It really brings out the flavour in liquids and gives the perfect throat which, I believe, is the result if the air flow being just right. I have about 3 or 4 dripping atty's and a couple of Tanks in reaching distance at all times but I found my hand involuntarily twitching in the direction of the Igo-L, no matter what liquid I've got in it. It brought out full flavour and amazing throat hit from my HHV liquids and so I credited that with the HHV liquids. I also gained new respect and love for the HHV liquids which I previously wasn't so fond of like Dragon's Fire, Dark Horse and Serendipity (still not really a fan of coffee vapes).

But getting such wonderful flavour, vapor and throat hit from my Toscany Tobacco from Vaperite made me think that quite possibly it's the atomizer that is so good. I am using only a standard silica wick with 28 gauge kanthal which took me all of 5 minutes to make and this Igo-L has been hitting perfectly every time and every time it gives me full flavour. Could there be a better RBA dripper for NET liquids?

Despite my revelation that the Igo-L is bringing out the best in my liquids I've regained some appreciation for Vaperite liquids. The Toscan has some lovely layered flavours. I am not really in the right creative space to go into a detailed and descriptive analysis of the flavour I am getting but to be succinct, I am getting a roasted bright tobacco cigar kind of taste with some subtle undertones of coffee or cocoa or maybe raisin. The one thing I notice that Vaperite juice lack is the grassy notes of some of the newer NETS I am now vaping such as Gej and Ahlusion but the flavours in Vaperite's liquids are layered, complex, subtle and delicious. In yesteryear's devices many Vaperite juices tasted similar and one author once said they all taste like 'oats' but RBA's are changing that and bringing out some of the subtler flavours in the extraction process. I am really keen to drip some other Vaperite liquids into my Igo-L after the Toscan dries up. I have Cuban, 777, Madagascar Vanilla, Rou's Toasted Hazelnut and the Organic Tobacco.

The second part of this post is about Wrangler Light. I have taste tested it when it was young but only gave it a good thorough workout in my Vapeonly BCC full sized today. I really like this juice, no, I really LOVE this juice. It tastes like Patriot only lighter, like a tasty, ashy and aromatic light cigarette. I am really enjoying this juice. It's not quite so simple to say it just tastes like an analog. It would be wrong to say that because it has a lot of depth and dimension despite it being a lighter take on the strong ashy Tobacco flavours of Gej's NETs. It's woody and ashy and lighter in flavour but that is not to say it's lighter in flavour or depth, just in the lighter, creamier spectrum of tobacco flavour. It sort of reminds me of those mini creamier cigars wrapped in a creamy, beige wrapping like the one's a non-cigar could tolerate when a big bold Cuban was just too much for the palette of a regular cigarette smoker.

If I had to rename this juice I would call it Patriot Sunrise or Patriot Lite or maybe even Patriot Gold. This juice is Gold and way underrated. Vaping it in a good quality device at just the right wattage will surprise you.

I can't say there is one Gej juice I have which I don't like. Even the 555 which I believe is a non net is great and I would have thought it was a NET if it wasn't for the fact that it's listed with the 'Premium' flavours.

All over the place
I wanted to try Tuscany tobacco from VapeRite even though it's not an NET. The VapeRite liquids that are NETs are

Organic Flavored Tobacco
Organic Flavored VR4 Tobacco
Organic Flavored Peach Tobacco
Organic Flavored Madagascar Vanilla Tobacco
Organic Flavored Honey Tobacco
Organic Flavored APV Tobacco
Naturally Flavored Cherry Pop Tobacco
Natural Flavored House Extracted Tobacco
Natural Flavored House Extracted Perique Tobacco
Natural Flavored House Extracted Tobacco
Natural Flavored Rou's Toasted Hazelnut Tobacco
Naturally Flavored Kool Watermelon Tobacco

It is my understanding that Tuscany is a good VapeRite liquid. I have had that one suggested to me a few times.

I LOVE your reviews, Anthony. I totally want to try everything you swoon over because I agree with your assessment of the ones that I have tried so often and so thoroughly! I'm trying my steeped Dark Horse for the very first time at the moment, and it's another hit from HHV for me:vapor:! Gotta play a namesake song...

Thanks, again, to all in this super thread:2cool:!

Would 'grassy' be included in the floral notes you seek? The only 'floral' descriptive I can come up with that would fit in line with a good NET is a liquid that has grassy notes. If that's the case then there are * a lot*. Any NET with burley has floral notes such as Blue Grass Burley at Ahlusion and Lousville at Want2Vape and maybe 100 other burleys from the NET vendors.

All the ahlusion juices have a kind of floral undertone to them if you ask me. Its kind of like a sweet grassy undertone and it reminds me of sweet herbs.

Thanks everybody. I really like the ahlusion juices, will have to try saraha blend when it gets released.

I have also really liked the HHV, but sometimes the consistency isn't there or I can lose the flavor kinda quick sometimes to.

Will write down the above and do some sampling.

Thanks again

What you mean like Highbrow juices? :(

Vaping Jiggy right now, floral honey definately fits.

All the ones I recommended are floral and not perfumy. Floral to me is the natural, slightly heavy scent of flowers. Perfume can be floral, but I wouldn't use perfume as a positive thing to say about a juice. Harsh floral is a good description Scarf. Intense flowery with a chemical or alcohol bite, not something I want to vape.

KickBassVapor has a honeysuckle vape called Hummingbird Nectar that is amazing. Virgin Vapor has a floral section that includes rose, jasmine, violet, and lemon rose water, but I haven't tried them.

Just remembered AliceinVapeland has a cherry blossom flavored vape that I thought was decent.

Jerms, I think we are similar. Dyed in the wool, hardcore, seasoned, quintessential rotation-mad drippers to the end.

I am glad I am not the only one. I reckon I have a jug of juice in my stack. There must be about 2 litres of juice in my kitty. What to do with 2009 vintage Freedomsmoke, dekang and Vapor4life juices.. There are two juices that no matter what, will either end up in the bin or remain in my stash for the next 10 years and that is FreedomsmokeUSA's Earl Grey Tea and the 4 bottles of Highbrow I ordered recently.

Wait, I just turned my head and sized up my stash. Correction: about 4 litres of juice.

You'll see the savings soon enough. I'm not sure how much you vape, but dripping I vape pretty consistantly and it's still only a few ml per day. Toscany was added late in the piece. Todd's mainstay liquids which captured people's attention in 2010-2011 were Perique, Rou's Toasted, Organic tobacco, APV (Agave-Prune-Vanilla), Naturally Extracted House tobacco and the Vr4 (which won the Vapenstein award for the best Ry4 in 2010. I don't even think Vapenstein has done awards since that year which I think may have been the first and only year?). Madagascar Vanilla was also late on the scene.

Toscany was added a bit later on. I am surprised it's not a NET, but then again it's been 15 months since I've ordered so I've forgotten. I can't decipher any more tobacco authenticity in say, the Cuban Supreme or Toscany from the NETS. I don't know if this adds praise or takes away from it.

The APV was one of my favourites. The complexity and depth of that juice was amazing to me at the time. I preferred it young. I found that the prune really bounced out in the earlier months. The undertone of prune and vanilla was subtle enough to not get in the way of the tobacco flavour but was perfectly embued in the juice to form one integrated whole that I thought really worked well. It was a best seller a couple of years ago, amongst all NETS (and there weren't many, if you consider BWB and AVE genuine NETs).

Edited - Ignore the following. I just noticed you listed the Organic as the first NET in the list. -

You've listed two natural house extracted tobacco. I believe that one of them is called Natural House extracted 'organic' tobacco or 'Organic Flavoured House tobacco' and the other is natural house extracted tobacco, or something along those lines. Not sure what the difference is but I do notice differences in flavour. Maybe the organic wasn't a NET but it certainly tasted like one, just as this Toscan tricked my senses into thinking it was also a NET. I don't detect any TA/TE in these liquids. I'm usually suspect of any juices that taste like Latakia that aren't NET and put it down to TA/TE but I get no latakia-like flavour from any Vaperite juices.

I've tried all of those liquids you listed. I wasn't a fan of watermelon or peach but that's because I am not fond of fruit flavours in tobacco (except maybe Applewoods). Actually, I should rephrase that - I wasn't a fan of tobacco fruits in 2010-2011. Things have changed.

lol. I love the animated gifs you guys put up. I still get chuckles when I think of the GIF Mr Mann put up in the Netty Awards thread, in response to someone who said that Bounty Hunter was their favourite NET and Mocha HHV was their worse.

I love .gifs. They really convey a lot more tone and emotion than plain text.

Good morning, everyone. Late start for me today.
