EcoPure tastes less flavorful than unflavored juice. Well, maybe not that bad, but I bought up a bunch of it thinking that I would be amazed and I was amazed at how unamazing it was.
"Amazing juice. Recommended with angels and a fanfare of heavenly trumpets," since this is from "Mr.tobacco" himself, a.k.a. Vapenstein, still makes me scratch my head and makes me feel that there is something wrong with my palate :)

Jerms thanks for the heads up on the Cheapie RDA. Great little atomizer and drip tip for little money. Tweaked the factory coil and it's working fine but this thing is perfect for a microcoil build.

Awesome! The Cheapie, Cutie, and IGO-S are perfect drippers for a former regular atty dripper like me. Micro coils work the best for them, makes them Cisco spec lol. How's the draw for you? I ended up making the air-hole just a tad bigger.

The one I have coming from FastTech is another ERA clone and also comes with a nice tip. So I'll have 3 of basically the same dripper, on with thumb screws, one with philips screws, and one with hex. Here's the pics from VaporJoes blog, it's $5.38.

Dan,

There's nothing wrong with your palate. Lots of us feel the same way you do about EcoPure. We're just not from the same planet or species as Dr. V. LOL.

Jerms what size braided silica are you using for microcoils and do you pull it through or direct wrap?

Draw on the Cheapie is just a little tight, may open it up a bit.

The double twisted (not braided) German silica is often described as 3mm, but it's more like 2.5. Wrapping the coil first is almost a must with micro coils. I have a nail I wrap on that is a good size for the silica.

Whoops, submitted too soon. Anyway.. the German silica can be a challenge to thread through, but not too bad. I cut it at a diagnal and wet and twist it. If I'm struggling I'll torch the end which stiffens it. A nice thing about touching wraps is even if you have a 12+ wraps, as long as the silica passes through the first couple wraps you're home free.

Be carefull opening up the air-hole. Just a tiny bit makes a big difference.

Thanks. I forgot you said it wasn't braided but will order some anyway. I did try the braided silica from GeJ and it is more durable than regular, no flavor problems, wicks great.

I'm real careful when doing anything to change the draw on any jds. Small incremental changes are the way to go.

Love it! That song is an iconic Australian anthem now. It was released I believe in 1981 and it can almost substitute for our national anthem. For a long time it was synonymous with Australia's Americas Cup win I think in 1982? The first time any country in about 120 years won the cup of the USA.

Perhaps I might stick a blob of vegemite in my Patriot juice as a kind of TA extract and see what happens. I am sure the juice with darken significantly! Vegemite doesn't need to be extracted. It already us an extraction :D

GREAT... now I need to add one MORE flavor to my DO NOT VAPE list ;)

I haven't tried Devil Dog, Sahara and a bunch of others from ahlusion so I will refrain from listing two but I am sure Blue Grass Burley would be in my top two.

The two I would order from Goodejuice if I could only choose 2 would be Patriot and Wrangler Light.

Hello,

I like tobacco taste and I also like bold, distinct, complex and in-your-face flavors. I have tried Ahlusion's Smooth Criminal, Backwwods Brew (Virginia and Backo), ECOpure Rich, Roar Vapor, Aroma (G.I Joe WTA, Turkish Blend WTA and DK Tab WTA), Heather's Heavenly Vapes (Legent), Velevet Cloud Vapor's (White Beard), Johnson Creek, Roar's Vaper tobacco line of samples, and some others. I guess there is nothing wrong with any of the said juices, except that I did not taste tobacco in any of them.

I am waiting for samples to arrive from Want2Vape, Mountain Oak Vapers, Vaperite, VapeDudes, The Plume Room, and Vapor Station (Tampa and Frisco).

I have heard good things about the following juices: Ahlusion: Blue Grass Burley, Caribbean Blend and Devil Dog and Good Juice: Acadian Gold, Natural Perique, Organic Tobacco #1, Patriot, Vita Bella, Wild Turkey, and Wrangler Light, but I cannot order all of them.

If you could order only two flavors from Ahlusion and Good Juice, which flavors would you recommend I try?

Thanks.

I am singing like a red Indian just waiting for my Apache to arrive. I can't wait for this juice. Occasionally you order a juice you know you will like, even before you've tried it which is a risky expectation but you just know. I felt that way about Patriot - Gej and Want2Vape juices and my liquid ESP was spot on.

You might want to give Southern Gentleman from MOV a try too. A very nice mix of tobaccos that gets complex after a long steep. Southern Gentleman | Aromatic Burley Cavendish Pipe Tobacco Flavored E-Liquid only at Mountain Oak Vapors

I need to get Apache on my next order from them.

I have always had a somewhat of a hard time finding the flavor in GeJ liquids. Patriot is by far the most consistent but even Patriot has its moments of obscurity for me. Recently I purchased a trident dripping atomizer and I'm running it with dual coils at .25-.3 ohms and this has been revolutionary for my vaping. Its like tasting certain juices for the first time. I have especially noticed this with GeJ. All the GeJ flavors I try in this set up have come to life. I think a big part is the alarming rate at which the Juice is being vaporized. More juice be vaporized quicker equates to stronger fuller flavor. I have been vaping Natural Perique the last two days and loving it where as before it was good but the flavor was a little faint for me. I havent touched another tank, atty, genny or any JDS device since getting the trident a week ago.
You guys having trouble finding the flavor in Wild Turkey need to try it in a genny if you have one. I've run about 3 tanks through an AGA T2, .8 ohm coil on solid mesh wick. This setup creates huge clouds and great flavor. Although subtle, it is very good!

I saw your other post with pic of it. Pretty cool that it has opened up those flavors for you. I have two Phoenix v5s coming, somewhat similar. Haven't built a dual coil yet but now you have me wanting to try it.

Sorry, I'm stuck on the oldie's ( er... classic rock, some progressive jazz, older blues etc )...

I do have a couple of Ahlusion e-liquids that came in on the 20th... so should be good to try out by this next weekend ( if I get time that is )... The selection was still limited when I ordered... but I did get Smooth Criminal and Desperado at least. Since they got the others that interested me in stock... I'd been spending my spare budget on other items non-vape related ( gas, 2 cycle oil, water, gloves etc ). Hopefully they will still have Sahara and Blue Grass Burley around when I free up some cash for that type of thing... If not, I've got plenty of other NET's to keep me going for a while.

PS... I may have a good lead on some firewood if interested ( joke )... :D

Those two (Smooth C and Desperado) need 6-8 weeks of steeping. Really.

One other thing I would like to mention. I have heard so much praise for ECOpure Rich (Vapenstein's review comes to mind) that I had to try it. I did not have high expectations, because I am not sure I understood how the juice can be described as "incredible" with virtually no flavor, but I have heard over and over that it somehow almost perfectly emulates an analog experience. So I got one bottle of it, the real stuff, 20ml nicotine, and gave it a try. It is a "clean-tasting" juice with very little throat hit and very mild flavor (it is not unpleasant or anything) that I cannot really describe.

Am I the only one that did not find this juice to be special in any way? I have tried dripping it, then I tried it in ProTank and in T3 at different voltage/resistance levels on ProVari, but still nothing special. I know taste/vaping experience is subjective, but am I missing something?

Thanks.

I can't figure it out. I have been told that people vape this to the exclusion of everything else. Why would you do that when there are so many good flavors out there that actually taste of, you know, something?

No Dan, you are not the only one. Far from it. A few of us are scratching our heads over the fan base that Ecopure has developed.

CW when did you live in Sydney and for how long?

I spent about 4 years living internationally in the early 00's.

2002 was Seoul for about 15 months
2003 was Sydney for almost 6 months though, part of that time I was going back and forth to Auckland so, it really doesnt count. I guess in the end, it was only about 4 months of time actually living there despite how long my stuff was there :)
2004 was a bit of time with more extended stays in hotels in the 3ish month mark - Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo (slightly different in that it ended up being 6 months total but, spread out in between the SG and KL stints so, about 6 weeks at a shot)
Then in 2005 I spent a couple of months in Munich and a couple in London before coming back home.

if I had my way, it would be mandatory to live in another country for at least 6 months - preferably one where you dont speak the language. Those 4 years were some of the best i've ever had despite (or perhaps because of) all the cultural and language issues along the way. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I can imagine all the language issues with you traveling to different countries. I mean, you are pretty much a staple on here, and we barely understand you most of the time.

All kidding aside, what amazes me is the number of folks that have not traveled out of the U.S or Canada and/or don't even have a passport in todays day and age.

I've pretty much been traveling and migrating for most of my life and those memories of places seen and experienced are some that can never be replaced.

I am always surprised at the low number of passport holders as well. There is such a rich world out there... with history that stretches thousands of years... how could you not want to see it? I've never understood...

Definitely agree with the memories. Little nuggets of gold.
