yep. I will (and have a few times) vape myself to nic dizziness just because I got new stuff that NEEDED to be tasted.


Sludge grew on me (which sounds like the after effect of a disturbing medical condition) and has grown to be one of my favorites... if the blasphemy is forgiven, its now potentially on par with Legend and Serendipity. (dont hit me... I'm fragile... I bruise) We'll see if its the same the next time around - I try not to pass judgement until I get a good amount of time, and more than one batch if possible, with them.


As for Sludge and Patriot, for me the bottom notes are similar but only in the way that a chicken club sandwich and kung pow chicken both taste of chicken. Its faint and there enough that I recognize it but, not enough for them to be siblings (more like distant cousins).

I only call it out like that because I don't taste the same kind of relation between say Devil Dog and Legend despite how much I love them both.

I love all my favorite juices equally but, some are clearly adopted.

Dan, I don't have much time before bed so I will be brief and maybe I can elaborate some other time or in private message.

You've got to work with Want2Vape juices. Not only are they an acquired taste but they need to be vaped at the right voltage and in the right set up. And of course, you have the gunk factor. They will gunk up your atomizers and when they do gunk up you will taste some acridness and lose the essential flavour of the juice.

My recommendation is to not vape these juices above 9 watts. Keep them around 7-8 watts. Secondly and this is a big one - don't bother vaping them in clearos, cartos or tanks of any kind. They will gunk all of those up very fast.

I don't know if you are into rebuildable atomizers but I highly recommend you vape them in those. If RBAs are too much hassle then go for a straight 510 or 306 atomizer, good quality ones like the Cisco spec ones Avid Vaper sells. Do the occasional dry burn to get the gunk off.

I also felt the same way about Managua until I vaped it (along with alcazar, London and Paris) in my Igo-L RBA. The managua was distinct, bold and very authentic. Prior to this I didn't get much from Managua or Alcazar either.

These juices will grow on you but you've got to give them some trial and error.

I have Morley as well. I only tried it the one time and wasn't impressed. The rest are amongst my favourite juices in my entire inventory of NETS.

I received want2vape sample today. I tried almost all of them. My primary observation? It vapes how it smells. If it has no smell when you open a bottle, the vape is going to be very mild. Strong smell = medium, sometimes strong, vape flavor.

Pipe tobaccos (London and Paris), for example, had a strong smell and a medium flavor. Managua, on the other hand, had absolutely no smell and practically no flavor. Analog Mild, Morley, 555.5 and other none-cigar/pipe flavors had a strong, distinctive smells and a lot of flavor, but not tobacco flavor. Morley is similar to Halo's Prime 15 and seems to share the same base with Analog Mild. The coffee flavors are strong, which equals a flavorful vape, but unfortunately, tobacco is not the star of the show.

Overall, I was expecting a lot more from pipe/cigar flavors. I was expecting bold, in-your-face, distinctive tobacco flavors. I need to spend more time vaping these samples, but thus far, the pipe flavors, London in particular, while not complex, stand out from the crowd. Cigar flavors are very mild, barely distinctive, and again, tobacco is not the star of the show.

Do you guys and gals have a "lime sorbet" e-liquid that you like to use between NETs to clean your palette? Lately I've been using some really generic RY4 I forgot I had. It's not a bad vape, but I wouldn't call it a good one either. It helps de-gunk my atomizers (if you believe that alternating between NETs and non-NETs helps) and puts quality NETs in context.

Also, shameless plug for my Five Pawns feature and interview! I'm trying to convince them to make a NET. I think that the results would be unique.

Nice interview R. I went to the site and the only flavor that stood out as far as the description was the blood orange and vanilla flavor. But I stick by my modified Ebert quote, it's not what a vape juice is about, it's how it is about it. So if I hear enough good stuff about one I'll try it. Expensive yes, but still under $1 so I'd consider it. Be more comfortable paying that for a highly regarded NET though.

Not sure which Cigar flavors you tried from them. Three in the Premium line that are made from Drew Estate Cigars, The Blond (ACID Blondie), CI Cigar (ACID Cold-Infusion Tea) and Coffee-Infused Cigar (Tobak Especial) you may want to try if you haven't yet. I vaped the juices along with smoked the cigars and the experience is almost identical.

same here! how do you plan to vape them? (setup, wattage/etc)

Just about all juices these days are being vaped in a mini dripper RBA with a micro coil on my VAMO. I don't notice differences in flavors at different watts as much as others so I pretty much tune it to throat hit and vapor. Depending on wire gauge, usually around 8 watts in the morning and 11 watts at night for 31ga Kanthal, 10-15 for 30ga.

Haven't had Sahara yet so can't answer your question, but thanks for reminding me I need to go put in an order. Guessing Sahara will be quite different since it contains a Turkish tobacco.

Sahara is nothing like those. I am thinking, based on my testing, that Sahara and Dulce Cubanito are part of a new type of line (though don't quote me on that). If you like Smooth C, you's be better off with JG Blend, Deal Maker, maybe Desperado, or Jungle Juice. All that said, Smooth Criminal is still in a class all on its own. I have only done aros at 30 mL untested.

I've been trying out Ahlusion Blue Grass Burley for the first time this morning....love it!

At first puff there was an unexpected green grassy taste that you usually wouldn't get while smoking Burley, but I seem to have adjusted and tuned it out completely now.

The raw unadorned Burley was a little surprising at first, but I can't get enough now. What can I say? Tastes like Burley on the inhale, with a strong Burley finish. The aroma has hints of tobacco that are not unlike Burley.

As much as I dig the whole raw unadulterated tobacco vibe, Burley is pretty dry and is usually part of a blend with added top note or casing flavors to add sweetness....what I'm getting at plain old Burley like this belongs in a fresh corn cob pipe, and a dash of Ethyl Maltol would probably simulate the caramelized sweetness just right, but I guess that might risk spoiling the whole pure Burley Zen thing.

Will do. I have very high expectations that this will be an amazing creamy mango vape. If it falls in line with my normal Ahlusion experience it'll be that, plus something unexpected.
