You really should be excited for Sahara. It's pretty bland when it's young to me. Although Mr.Mann really likes it when it's fresh. But it completely transforms once it has some age. Maybe even as much as SC. When it starts to/turns pink is when you know it's ready.

MM was kind enough to grab a bottle of SB from the XPress line when he visited the shop earlier this month. I vape 12mg generally and he grabbed a 24mg, which is fantastic with coffee in the morning, so I've been taking it easy with it. It's turned in to a neon pink, a lot like Mad Murdock's Maha Ras. I don't think I've ever been so excited about a liquid before, but SB really is worthy of all the gushing I've been doing about it.

Ah, sir, what if I told you that I bought my first devices about five weeks ago, and by next week, I shall have about 120 bottles of juice in my apartment from over a dozen vendors, with over 90% of them being 100% VG?

I would say, "Wow" on this thread, and "silicone valley bazillionaire or trust fund baby?" to myself!:p (JK)

Awesome. I'll give it a taste fresh and then put it away until it starts to blush. Wonder if Cubanito changes much with age?

I'd be surprised if it didn't. That's another that I'm very excited about. Someone log in to Mr.Mann's account and offer up some tasting notes on Cubanito.

Even after a rinse and dry burn this Paris is really lingering in my Phoenix. I may have to rewick and recoil. It's giving everything that musty flavor. It's also shrugging insouciantly, criticizing American foreign policy, and quoting Bernard-Henri Lévy in casual conversation.*

*ok those last three aren't true.

Edit: Hey that was my 3,000th post. Yay me! :toast:

Now that my refill bottle of Serendipity is in the mail (as well as 2 50ml bottles of Heavenly Army), I decided to fill up one of my Protanks with 'dipity tonight... and tonight, after about a week, is closer to Legend then it was before.

Perhaps my tastebuds are off, but I'm getting more fruit notes and barely nothing of a coffee or tea that I had the first time I tried it.

It's still delicious, but I had to check my bottles to see if I grabbed the correct out out of the steep cabinet.

RPad, do you know how old those fruit aros were? I think those fruit aros should be ordered in either only 15 mL, or in a 30 mL divided up into 2 x 15 mL bottles (W said he would do that). I think the fruit, with it's natural essence, steeps away from its original glory. It doesn't happen too quickly (over a month), but the freshest taste is with the freshest vape (with those).

I have no idea. Mr. Tez has that info. I'm going to rub this bottle of SGP to see if it will summon him.

From my understanding, Ahlusion uses no commercial tobacco flavoring by themselves or in conjuction with extracted tobacco. They do however use non-tobacco natural and artificial flavorings with their NETs.

I was under the same impression, but when shopping for my first order from them yesterday I found this on their site:
Tobacco Blends

Aromatic Tobacco Blends: Also referred to Premium Blends, are made in house, extracted through various methods from additive free natural or certified organic tobacco. The strength of the finished flavoring is slightly different for each batch, so there may be slight variations to the strength of the finished product. Every recipe is tested and adjusted for each batch to make it as close to the original control as possible.
Non Aromatic Blends: These also contain extracts of additive free natural or certified organic tobacco, but may also contain commercially available tobacco flavoring.

It didn't stop me from ordering though. ;)
BGB
Smokin Cherries
Dulce Cubanito
Sahara
:D

Pretty excited to get these in. Especially the DC. I've been wanting to find a good cigar flavor.

Good catch, didn't notice that about the non-aros. Wonder which ones may contain commercially available tobacco flavoring, and if that means TA or synthetic. They'd still be considered NETs though even of synthetic tobacco is added to an extracted tobacco. The Plume Room has a few of those types of hybrid NETs.

I've been trying out Ahlusion Blue Grass Burley for the first time this morning....love it!

At first puff there was an unexpected green grassy taste that you usually wouldn't get while smoking Burley, but I seem to have adjusted and tuned it out completely now.

The raw unadorned Burley was a little surprising at first, but I can't get enough now. What can I say? Tastes like Burley on the inhale, with a strong Burley finish. The aroma has hints of tobacco that are not unlike Burley.

As much as I dig the whole raw unadulterated tobacco vibe, Burley is pretty dry and is usually part of a blend with added top note or casing flavors to add sweetness....what I'm getting at plain old Burley like this belongs in a fresh corn cob pipe, and a dash of Ethyl Maltol would probably simulate the caramelized sweetness just right, but I guess that might risk spoiling the whole pure Burley Zen thing.

I'm sorry, I'm not following. What are you trying to say? (J/K)
Would an electronic corn cob pipe be an oxymoron?

Well all I can say about the group on the Natural Tobacco thread is that you are all wonderful, as succinct and contrite as that sounds.

In my fairly hasty mention of the fact that I cannot get Ahlusions Devil Dog I had two people send me an email offering to get it for me. That thought hadn't even crossed my mind and I was fairly grateful that I can access MOV, GEJ and other great vendors.

By the way, for what it's worth, people in the vaping community and on ECF actually take our reviews on NET liquids seriously and base their orders on what they read here. One person who offered to get Devil Dog for me told me that my reviews helped him choose the liquids he ordered. I was under the impression that our reviews and opinions on liquids were mostly just discussions amongst ourselves to compare and contrast. I realize now that our discussions actually influence user choice.

So thank you for those who offered to assist me in getting some Ahlusion juices and those who alerted me to the QNJ contest yesterday. You are a fabulous and generous bunch of people. This is without making any mention of my vaping angel, you know who you are :)

The other thing I would like to say about this particular group is that even when opinions are divided there is a mature, intelligent 'agreeing to disagree' and discussions are generally constructive and collaborative. I haven't seen any disrespect or belittling in this particular thread as I have seen elsewhere.

If only society could be modelled in this way.

That almost sounded like an acceptance speech. *ahem* I will stand down from the podium now. I am just feeling gratitude right now.

Edit: So in repayment of the favour I will happily send items to those in the USA for things they can't get in Australia. The following list of items will include Vegemite, Kangaroo meat and an Aussie meat pie.

Couldn't agree more. After reading this thread for a bit and seeing the way that everyone approaches reviews and investigation I decided to participate. It's like a subculture of the vaping subculture. A sub sub culture. I would guess that 3/4 of my posts (fairly low) are to this thread. And most of the NETs I've tried are tied to reviews from this thread.

I know you're kidding, but a corn cob pipe is THE best way to smoke plain Burley tobacco because the corn cob's sugar caramelizes and sweetens the otherwise dry Burley...so adding a little EM would be a way to mimic that in e-liquid.

Would an electronic corn cob pipe be an oxymoron?
I do have one of these retro/future Jetsons aluminum pipes with corn cob inserts (really):

Those might be tricky but I can tell you from previous swap experience that Cherry Ripes and Violet Crumbles are VERY gratefully received:)

Given I have had Vegemite, I prefer Scarf's approach :D

Hmmmm, I'm down to my last few ml of Guevara from HouseofLiquid, and it's working for me now more than it has been. I don't know if it's gotten leafier with age or I'm just noticing it more. It has the same leafy bit as Virginia Prime from them, but not as intense, and also has some woodiness. More flavorful now than my past experience with it.

Acadian Gold from GoodeJuice

Been tooling around with this for a couple of days straight from the mailbox. 18mg. It's delicious! On the inhale I get some straw notes with a bit of sweetness. Exhale is a tiny bit dry but opens up to some toastiness and finishes well after the exhale lightly with sweet. Overall a very smooth vape that I really like. Easily in my top 5 of all juices and one I could vape all day.
What Patriot does for me with leafy and ashy this complements very well.
