Well all I can say about the group on the Natural Tobacco thread is that you are all wonderful, as succinct and contrite as that sounds.

In my fairly hasty mention of the fact that I cannot get Ahlusions Devil Dog I had two people send me an email offering to get it for me. That thought hadn't even crossed my mind and I was fairly grateful that I can access MOV, GEJ and other great vendors.

By the way, for what it's worth, people in the vaping community and on ECF actually take our reviews on NET liquids seriously and base their orders on what they read here. One person who offered to get Devil Dog for me told me that my reviews helped him choose the liquids he ordered. I was under the impression that our reviews and opinions on liquids were mostly just discussions amongst ourselves to compare and contrast. I realize now that our discussions actually influence user choice.

So thank you for those who offered to assist me in getting some Ahlusion juices and those who alerted me to the QNJ contest yesterday. You are a fabulous and generous bunch of people. This is without making any mention of my vaping angel, you know who you are :)

The other thing I would like to say about this particular group is that even when opinions are divided there is a mature, intelligent 'agreeing to disagree' and discussions are generally constructive and collaborative. I haven't seen any disrespect or belittling in this particular thread as I have seen elsewhere.

If only society could be modelled in this way.

That almost sounded like an acceptance speech. *ahem* I will stand down from the podium now. I am just feeling gratitude right now.

Edit: So in repayment of the favour I will happily send items to those in the USA for things they can't get in Australia. The following list of items will include Vegemite, Kangaroo meat and an Aussie meat pie.

It's my opinion a person shouldn't be "punished" by where they live in terms of what they are able to purchase, especially when it comes to the world of vaping. I understand added "hassle" on vendor's parts (to a point) about international shipping, but I also think that there should be some option for people like you who don't live in the US to purchase any juice you want. Maybe with something like an international distributor or something (I know some companies have this type of service).

I am also deeply indebted to the people of this thread for helping me find my way through the thousands of juice options to the NET area, without this thread I probably would have spent many dollars on juice that isn't "my thing" before finding a vendor like HHV, Ahlusion, QnJ, etc. I also am very grateful for the offers of juice that I have received from the people here to help me sample juices before spending what little vape budget I have on juice I might not enjoy.

Wow, I've never had my perception and level of enjoyment alter as much as happened tonight with Guevara. When I started vaping it a few hours ago, it was really good for the first time and has just gotten better. I'm sure age has helped, it's several months old, but I think steeping is only a small part. I've dripped it, not really often or long, but consistantly, and it's always been a little bland and boring, not doing much at all. Something clicked tonight and it's working on all levels.

Leafy, woodsy, a little sweet, and very complex. Feels like such an authentic tobacco vape experience. Medium-strong tobacco impact, a little aggressive balanced with a pleasant, natural sweetness. Wish it would have clicked earlier, but really glad I didn't vape it heavily earlier just to vape it up. Really shows me, if it seems a juice just might have potential, like this one did, to keep trying it in short sessions for the length of the bottle. Definately will re-order Guevara some time, best vape session I've had with any of the El Toros.

I just ordered this for the first time and Im really looking forward to it. After i get that and my 60mls of Patriot the only GeJ liquid left to try will be Organic #1. I have been vaping a lot of Natural Perique the last few days and enjoying it immensely. GeJ is definitely my 2nd favorite vendor however I think Patriot is my favorite e-liquid of all time if that makes any sense.
Acadian Gold from GoodeJuice

Been tooling around with this for a couple of days straight from the mailbox. 18mg. It's delicious! On the inhale I get some straw notes with a bit of sweetness. Exhale is a tiny bit dry but opens up to some toastiness and finishes well after the exhale lightly with sweet. Overall a very smooth vape that I really like. Easily in my top 5 of all juices and one I could vape all day.
What Patriot does for me with leafy and ashy this complements very well.

Thats awesome to hear Cherry. They only show up on the xpress line along with that vanilla black tea that looks amazing. Im really wanting to try these since Wlad did away with all the other house and river tree blends and put these redefined flavors in their place. Im excited to get my hands on these!
Hey, Mann, are the new Ahlusion Wild Wood flavors NETs? I don't think the River Tree blends these are based on are. Wlad sent me some samples of the peach and maple Wild Woods, and they are unlike anything I've had before. Very hard to stop vaping, even with aros right here shouting my name. Jeez, will the guy ever let me catch my breath?

Just filled the Vmod with Serendipity. Ahhhhh, how I have missed you my dearest. I think some last-minute vote changing on my part may be in order. How annoying that must be for the person counting the vo...oh, wait.

I know there are some coffee snobs on this thread, so how horrified would y'all be if I admitted to putting two drops of Capella's Caramel flavoring in my decaf, and liking it? Rather a lot?

Scarf-ace that's interesting you say that. I've had a hell of a bad time with Paris in the last day or so. It used to be my favourite Want2Vape juice. Just recently I have been getting the most amazing, realistic cigar and pipe blend flavours from Alcazar, Lousville, London and Managua in my Igo-L. It was when I introduced Paris into that mix that it all went pear shaped and the honeymoon ended. Here I was thinking that the others were just the prelude to my favourite being Paris but I was left perplexed and confused.

Paris was my favourite with it's strong musty and complex pipe blend but for some reason it's tasting musty, murky and lacking in complexity. In fact, it's gunking even my RBA's up and I've had to rewick and recoil a few times. I just don't get it. I can't figure out whether I've wrongly relabeled bottles (which is not likely because I have two Paris bottles and I can't have gotten them both wrong). Maybe it's my palate changing or perhaps Paris just doesn't fare well in any setup, including robust RBA set ups. I've been fiddling and fussing with my set ups that are forming hot spots, shorting, and getting warbled fluctuations in ohms. Whereas before my Igo-L was vaping constantly good, as soon as I stuck Paris in it, it became unstable.

For a while there I thought I was wiring up my Igo-L wrong with hot spots or poor wick - coil combinations.

It was when I put Paris into the SS Mesh Phoenix you gave me that I realised it was the juice! It is tasting better in the SS Mesh Phoenix set up and I am getting some of the layers of flavour and that subtle undertone of something 'bright' but not like before. What I am getting is musty, tobacco which is good in its own right but not the Paris I remember. How can a palate change that much?

I am really confused about this. Paris went from my favourite to my least favourite in a short space of time and I know it's

Even after a rinse and dry burn this Paris is really lingering in my Phoenix. I may have to rewick and recoil. It's giving everything that musty flavor. It's also shrugging insouciantly, criticizing American foreign policy, and quoting Bernard-Henri Lévy in casual conversation.*

*ok those last three aren't true.

Edit: Hey that was my 3,000th post. Yay me! :toast:

Sorry let me rephrase. I MEANT Vegemite, Kangaroo Meat and Aussie Meat Pie flavoured E-Juice.

Nothing but the best from the land down under :D

Those might be tricky but I can tell you from previous swap experience that Cherry Ripes and Violet Crumbles are VERY gratefully received:)

Chimps, it is also through this thread that I was able to make discerning choices for liquids and my vaping experience has improved exponentially since I started to vape the liquids I read about here. Just weeks before I started reading this thread I had put in orders with FSUSA and had already started compiling a list of vendors which did not have NET liquids. I didn't even know NETS had proliferated to this level. Perhaps I made an error in putting in an order with FSUSA but if I didn't find this thread and all the thoughtful, intelligent and carefully written reviews, I might still be vaping other juices, which, while still decent, don't compare to what I am vaping now.

it's also been during these last few months of vaping NETs that I've gone from someone who still looks sideways longingly at the tobacconist to someone who doesn't even notice them when walking by because I am dreaming of my vapemail coming from vendors like ahlusion, GEJ, MOV and other fantastic NET vendors.

Thank you so much Chimps. What you did for me today has made my day, week and month!

It's my opinion a person shouldn't be "punished" by where they live in terms of what they are able to purchase, especially when it comes to the world of vaping. I've been trying out Ahlusion Blue Grass Burley for the first time this morning....love it!

At first puff there was an unexpected green grassy taste that you usually wouldn't get while smoking Burley, but I seem to have adjusted and tuned it out completely now.

The raw unadorned Burley was a little surprising at first, but I can't get enough now. What can I say? Tastes like Burley on the inhale, with a strong Burley finish. The aroma has hints of tobacco that are not unlike Burley.

As much as I dig the whole raw unadulterated tobacco vibe, Burley is pretty dry and is usually part of a blend with added top note or casing flavors to add sweetness....what I'm getting at plain old Burley like this belongs in a fresh corn cob pipe, and a dash of Ethyl Maltol would probably simulate the caramelized sweetness just right, but I guess that might risk spoiling the whole pure Burley Zen thing.

I thought BGB was bland and grassy and dull at first; it was certainly not what I expected. After leaving it for a few days and going back, I found a whole world of deep, complex flavor. I asked Wlad if the juice changed or if it was just my perception changing, and he basically said it was me because it really doesn't steep. He's right, I'm sure, BUT. . .it does get sweeter as it ages. After a month, the corncob pipe won't be needed. Then again, I also think Devil Dog is smooth and mild, so it could just be me.

So I caught Ahlusion open again this morning and got another order in. 5 30ml bottles this time, all 70/30 PG/VG 18mg: Sahara Blend, Dulce Cubanito, 2xDevil Dog, and Sweet Georgia Peach. My first order should be delivered today, hence the /mailman stalk happening right now :D. This order is getting split up between me a good friend from here in the thread. Devil Dog for me, the rest for him ;), so hopefully we will have some added reviews here in the next few weeks.

I actually had to set an alarm for myself today, and probably was one of the last orders before closing even then. For me, working second shift and then lurking/posting here until close to 5 in the morning means if I didn't have an alarm I would never get an order in. I also use the wishlist to build my order, so that when I catch them open I only have to "add all to cart" and checkout. Good luck getting your order in tomorrow. :toast:

When you say "No steeping required" on the aros from Ahlusion, does this mean not even the 2 days with caps off that I am used to for all juices thus far? Like "aros good straight from mailbox" type of no steeping? I have them all with caps and drippers off for now, and will leave them that way while I'm at work this evening, but I wasn't sure if I could recap the aros and just leave the 3 non-aros steeping when I get home.

Oh, BTW, Vape Mail!!
