Ahlusion is just outside of Flint, which is sort of a miniature Detroit about 70 miles north. Both cities have lost half of their populations over the last forty years. Both were utterly dependent upon the auto industry. Both rank high in all the "most dangerous cities" lists (although Flint usually wins. . .ah, hometown pride!).

Oh, I'm very familiar with and very inetrested in the history of Detroit and what happened. It and Pripyat, Ukrain and other abandoned cities have always interested me and got my attention like no other.

Luckily I have a CHL with reciprocity in Michigan. Bet you're ... I'd have my Glock 30 (.45ACP) or FN FiveSeN on my right hip and a S&W .357Mag snub in my left pocket with an extra mag for the glock/FSN and a speed loader ready to go for the Smith. ;) Although I really, really hope it never comes down to that.

Nah, I don't think I'd have trouble in Detroit. I'm from Houston, after all. This can be a rough town. But I do concealed carry absolutely everywhere.

I grew up on the very tough north side of Flint, and lived there till I was in my thirties. Never had a gun, never felt the need for one. But if it makes you feel safer and less worried, groovy.

Just tried Sahara Blend! Daaaaaaamn! And it's still fresh, no pink. If this gets as much better as everyone says, it will definitely change some votes in Round 2 of the Nettys! Why didn't Wlad put this juice in with the aros?

johni, man, when I got Sahara, I swear I vaped about 3 mL in the first sitting (and that's old school dripping--two drops at a time!) Does it change? Yes. The thing is, it changes into more of what it already rather than transforming (if that makes sense). I know all things cannot be the same for everyone, but this is one of those juices that I couldn't care less about who enjoys. If you don't like it, cool. But for those that do, all I can say is "congratulations." When I first vaped it I knew it was that juice that I had been looking for. It's so easy to vape. A 10 mL of that is TRULY a sample!

I'm thinking it fits better with the aros than the non. Pretty amazing flavor. A lot of juices that you like are OK to run out of, just order more next time. Given the steep time, this one will have to be stocked a little more carefully and kept ready!

So nobody yet PREFERS Sahara fresh to steeped?

If it doesn't transform into a different flavor, I may just pass on tasting it fresh and let it sit for a few weeks.

All this Sahara love prompted me to take out my March vintage bottle out of my Ahlusion drawer (yes, I sort my juices by brand, so sue me) and take a few puffs.

It still tastes like TA to me, not unlike VCV's White Beard. Nice TA, but TA nonetheless. Not a bit of sweetness.

What's wrong with me?

I usually limit myself to trying only one new juice a day, but since I'm going to take a 'bacco break until Thursday to hit up some Blue Fairy, Pluid, Maha, and Jiggy (not really a 'bacco in presentation) I decided to drip the Strawberry Kiwi that Cravin included in my order on the fresh dripper.

Not a fruit vape. Pure artificial candy flavor. Kind of like a gummy worm. Not my thing, glad I didn't pay money for it. Makes me glad I'm mainly a NET vaper, where even the average ones (like Cravin) are still enjoyable to vape.

Ha! That's awesome! It is a pretty mod for the price, though I'm reading the gold rubs off fairly quick.

I also picked up some SS mesh from EM to try that type of wick. I have a Phoenix coming, and want to try Scarfy's set-up.

Oh, but the Atmozoo has no gold: Atmizoo Roller SS-M - Atmizoo - Mechanical - Devices

OOooooo, you mean the cheapy we both got. I'm really not stressing it at all. It's be a back up for a back up for a backup. Or I'll lend it to friends.

So you have any pics of the moon talk you're speaking about the damn rebuildables, please? I'd like to at least understand it. :/

You mean SS mesh and EM? SS is stainless steel and EM is EmpireMods.

I don't really agree with the ADV concept. I don't think one should limit themselves to only one main flavor. That said, SB could, out of every other liquid in the industry that I've tried, be my ADV if I were forced to have one. It's freaking wonderful and I'm glad you guys finally see what I've been going on and on about.

Houston's violence rate is going up as well as home invasions. I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

It gets WAY more intense than it is when it's fresh or even at 2, maybe 3 weeks. 4 weeks is when it really starts to strengthen. It's NOT like SC, which completely changes, imo. It mostly keeps the same flavor, but gets much more intense. It's really worth holding on to the bottle for a bit, hiding it away and then re try it a few months later.

So my experience with A+ started out with SGP. I threw it in an eVod on my way out the door to work the day it arrived. The peach in this juice pairs perfectly with the tobacco. I am a peach LOVER, and I was very glad to find that this is very much a fresh peach blended into tobacco that is crisp, fruity, and a deep tobacco flavor that is not the least bit off-putting. Before receiving the A+ order, my only experience with NETs was with HHV. There is a definite fork in the NET highway with these two vendors, but I have no problem closing my eyes and letting the car decide which fork to take on this particular vaping journey. I love the smooth, creamy, inviting flavors that HHV juices have, and continue to find myself filling tanks with these lovely flavors. I also find in the past week that I keep finding a spare tank to fill with one of the A+ juices that I have sitting in the vape box, and the up-front, in-your-faceness tobacco from these is a nice detour on the vaping journey that has become a welcome part of my life this past month.

I finally got my VAMO in the mail a couple of days ago, so with that I built my IGO-L and tonight have been blazing away the rest of my A+ order. The BGB is a much different beast than the SGP, IMO, but it is not an untamed beast that requires much space. This is the first tobacco vape that I have tried that reminds me of the smell of working the summer of my teenage years in the tobacco fields here in Kentucky, as well as the smell from curing the tobacco in the barn. It doesn't have the smoky taste that accompanies combustion, but I have moved on from that era of my life since giving up the analogs. I don't miss the combustion taste at all, and am pleasantly surprised at how well the "pure" tobacco flavor comes through in this juice.

The follow-up to BGB is my sample of House Blend that Wlad so graciously included. Wow...that's about all I can say. This juice is just over a week old, and is rivaling Legend as my go-to flavor in an eVod for work. I drive a forklift, so there is not much variety for me in juices during work. My variety comes at home before and after work. I found myself today having a hard time deciding on which one to take along for the night, and finally settled on taking both HHV Legend and A+ House Blend. There is a sweetness to this juice that reminds me of why I very much enjoy HHV DF (although I have limited my exposure to DF to both allow it to steep as well as to not "tire" of the flavor). The best I can describe the flavor in HB to me is the way that cinnamon rolls smell when they are proofing on the counter. There is both a vanilla-y dough taste, as well as a subtle cinnamon (in my opinion, at least. Who knows, none of these flavors may actually be contained in here, but that's what I am picking up). There is a reason that when I got my first AGA-T2 built last night, the tank was filled with House Blend :D.

I haven't yet had time to spend with Sahara, Dulce, or Smooth Criminal, although I might be ok just letting those steep for a while as I continue on the bottles that I have broken into.

I have acquired a bottle of Devil Dog (thanks Anthony!!!!) since placing my first order, and just from smelling that bottle I am trying to find the time to make its acquaintance. I do see why so many say that the aros are good for "spurts," as the BGB was a very abrupt right hook, especially as I was coming from an eVod full of Legend to the IGO-L with BGB.

I will continue to spend some time with these juices in the coming days, and hope to have the time (probably will have to wait until the weekend...) to write up full impression of each of these juices.
