Many of us had our first Gandalf experience with the juice that was really Serendipity (or at least what eventually became Serendipity). Then when we got what was really Gandalf later on, we were taken by surprise. After they figured out what happened, I was personally satisfied with the answer, however, I always found it a bit disconcerting that the juice changed (drastically), then changed back again, and the makers never knew it till it was called to their attention. HHV makes great juice, but QC has been a real problem from time to time.

Anthony,

The "Blond" from W2V has no added flavors to the juice as far as I can tell, it tastes exactly like the cigar it's extracted from. It's extracted from Drew Estate's ACID Blondie cigar and the flavors come from that. ACID is a very unique line of cigars that have flavors infused into them with in multiple ways. The added flavors are so potent that ACID cigars usually get there own humidor seperate from other cigars in tobacco shops. The ACID cigars I've smoked are Blondie, Cold-Infusion Tea, and Kuba Kuba. It's easy to tell why W2V decided to make extracts from these cigars, hugely complex and highly flavored, and the added flavors transfered perfectly from the extraction.

Since you like Blond, I can almost guarentee you you'd also like CI Cigar, not to be confused with Coffee-Infused Cigar. CI Cigar was formerly named Cold-Infusion Cigar since it's made after from the ACID Cold Infusion Tea cigar. Those two cigars, and the two juices are very similar in style. Out of all the juices I've vaped, CI Cigar and Blond stand out as the only juices that have that style. Extremely unique, love em or hate em juices. I love them, CI Cigar is one of my favorite juices and Blond is up there too.

Kuba Kuba ejuice may be similar to the style, I don't know since I haven't had it yet. Out of the 3 smokable cigars though, Kuba Kuba was a distant third behind Blondie and Cold Infusion.

If I didn't know there was a story behind it, just based on the flavor I got I would have guessed that Legend was made from a cherry Cavendish and Serendipity was made from a coffee and/or cocoa Cavendish. I don't see how a longer extraction could change the overall flavor profile so drastically, but I have no experience and little knowledge of tobacco extraction. Not that it really matters, I grab Legend when I was in the mood for a cherry tobacco and grab Serendipity when I wanted a coffee tobacco flavor.

Roots,

........ addressed the FastTech/Innokin issue on his blog, guess I wasn't the only one who emailed him about it. It's a pretty good read, but long story short; the ones FastTech is selling is genuine, Innokin (and other manufacturers) really don't like it when vendors sell their products for cheaper than they want them to.

If you get it we can get together and have a light saber vs billy club duel...to the death! Or until a mod gets scratched.

Dan, these liquids are the originally brewed Want2Vape liquids. Vulcan Vape is in the USA as well.

I was surprised to see that The Blond is a cigar. I am not getting cigar from it the way I am with Managua or Alzacar. I am getting all pipe blend and cigarette. To me it tastes more like a pipe blend. Cigars don't taste cool and crisp the way Blond does. Perhaps I should try a variety of wattages or put it in my AGA T2. The device I am using, the Phoenix with SS mesh has good flavour but it's not in the same league as the genny's. I tried Managua in the phoenix and it had a flatter, lighter profile and it wasn't until I put it in the genny that I was getting rich, oily dark maduro like cigar flavour. It could be that.

That would make me a fan of Habana Daydream then but I don't have access to Quicknic juices. Once I've vaped off some of this massive stash I have in my possession I might start looking at QnJ as I understand they are quickly developing as a great NET vendor.

Interesting. I like The Blond and Louisville, but to me, they are very different. Do the NETs you have contain nicotine? I remember you said in another thread that you cannot get juices with nicotine in your country. The main difference between Louisville and The Blond is that the former is a pipe tobacco, the latter is a cigar. I think The Blond and Habana Daydream are pretty similar, which is why I am vaping both today on two exactly the same setups. I want to see if a full day of vaping both side by the side changes things, i.e., they diverge more as the the day progresses or converge even closer in taste.

Trust me, Blond tastes exactly like the cigar it's made from. However, ACID cigars don't taste like any other cigars. Even though Blond and CI are cigar NETs, they don't play like a cigar experience to me. They are in their own special category that's unique to them.

Coincidentally, I have a bottle of Oompa which has laid around neglected. I gave it a taste after 2 weeks of steeping and all I got was a flimsy chocolate flavour with medicine like odd notes and not much of anything else. I decided to give it a fair go in my Vision Eternity and I have to say, I am liking it. I've never been a fan of chocolate vapes because most I have tried have not good but this one is definitely a better one.

Serendipity and Oompa mixed together might make a good mocha.

I could never get that one to wake up for me. :)

Thanks Jerms, this is good to know.

I've been trying to get Wes at Vulcan Vape to bring in the CI Cigar and the Coffee Infused Cigar. I hope he comes through. I had to request he bring in the Blond from Want2Vape and he did that so i am hoping he gets the other two. I really like the sound of CI Cigar and Coffee Infused Cigar from what you've said here.

I have Kuba Kuba and I also immensely enjoy that one. Kuba Kuba is a strong pungent cigar taste.

I am surprised that The Blond is coming across as a pipe blend to me. Perhaps it is the way it is extracted or the flowery notes that it is being registered as a pipe by my senses. I will give it a go in a genny and see if the overall cigar extraction comes through.

I am so glad I quit smoking and discovered vaping. While most people only get to enjoy oral satisfactions (erase that dirty thought), 3 times a day when they eat, us reformed smokers who have turned to vaping as a substitute get to try a plethora of wonderful vapes with their layers, dimensions, subtle notes, sublime blends and infusions.

I have found that vaping has been somewhat of an anti-depressant for me during the last difficult year.

Yeah, it's odd getting flowery and incense type flavors from a cigar vape. Same flavors from smoking a Blondie. CI Cigar tones down the potpourri a little and has some other flavors, like green tea. Coffee-Infused is way more like a traditional cigar taste, with light hints of cocoa and coffee. It didn't blow me away as much, but is still a very, very good cigar vape.

Gonna drip some Blond after my dripper empties from the whiskey-malt-toffee tobacco concoction I'm hitting up.

Ahhh yeah that's the good stuff. Hadn't vape Blond since I vaped up the first sample bottle several weeks ago. I agree with ya Anthony that this is one every tobacco fan should at least try. I completely get why someone would hate these ACID vapes, but if they work they'll probably work really well. I can't think of any NET I'd classify as more unique.

Got word there's going to be a new tobacco next week that the mixer thinks us tobacco lovers will really like. We shall see. No idea if it's uses NET or not, but I'm looking forward to it.

Hmm, interesting...a cigarette, well, maybe there is a connection to a version of Gauloises, but it would be a stretch. Want2Vape's Paris is more like Gauloises, I guess, but I would not compare either to a cigarette.

Cigars don't taste cool and crisp the way Blond does.
I think the juice is very close to the real cigar it was extracted from. Whether or not that cigar has a "cool and crisp taste," however, depends on how you define "cool and crisp." I would not describe it that way, but it does not mean anything. For NETs and tobacco juices in general, it would be nice to come up with some standard tasting descriptions like they use to describe wine and coffee flavors.

Perhaps I should try a variety of wattages or put it in my AGA T2. The device I am using, the Phoenix with SS mesh has good flavour but it's not in the same league as the genny's. It could be, but frankly - and I know that I am in a minority on this - unless there is something majorly wrong with your set-up (which I doubt is the case) - it should not matter which delivery system one uses.

That would make me a fan of Habana Daydream then but I don't have access to Quicknic juices.
To me, The Blond is very close to Habana Daydream and CI Cigar is very close to Kuba Kuba.
