Tried my hand at an unoxidized ss mesh wick. Wrapped a coil on a small nail and put it on my Phoenix for a vertical coil, slipped in the mesh, and pulsed for about 5 minutes on a mech until glowing evenly. Worked for a minute but had to pulse out the hotspots again, like with my first oxidized wick. Working great since, stable at 1.6 ohms. That was easier than making the oxidized wick, and the flavor is much better.

This unoxidized, small-diameter mesh may give my German silica a run for it's money. Gold is vaping pretty solid right now, will have to see how it does with different vapes.

My Sahara is steeping but so far it's a hit. DC will be in my next order and I like Vurley a lot. Vurley seems to have more tobacco kick than the other flavored aros.

Before you order DC I have some for you to try. Or a whole bottle depending on if it gets vapeable for me in the coming weeks.

But I hear oorah is really good.

Indigo Oorah? I have a sample of Capt Oorah, a combo of the Oorah and Capt Ron. Just tried it today. It is very yummy. Capt Ron is a banana tobacco, the mix is almost an aftertaste of light banana. Didn't find it at first it is so subtle, but after the exhale, waiting a few minutes (seconds??? :) ) before the next puff, the banana is there, almost an aftertaste that is very slightly sweet banana.

Indigo has some high quality artibacos/lab tobacco flavorings. i've tried quite a few of them and bought a couple as well.

I don't like candy banana flavor so, Capt Ron isnt for me but, Eureka and Duke were 2 i did enjoy.

I'm not crazy about Caribbean either. SGP is growing on me but it is about as sweet as I can stand. Honey Cured is too sweet for me, so unless you love honey.....

I dont like too sweet either but, the honey cured is an exception. Since the honey is a true honeycomb, it has what comes off as a natural sweetness (which is delicious) as opposed to a candy sweetness (which is vomit inducing).

When I'm not really in the mood to chew on my pipe (read: BGB/Smokin Cherries/Devil Dog), Honey Cured is what I find myself reaching for.

Those 4 plus SGP are my "after dinner mints" :D

I placed my first A+ order today. Never having tried their juices, I selected smaller bottles. My choices were:

Lemon Cream
Coconut Dream
Car-Mal Mambo
Devil Dog!
Maple Burley
Smooth Criminal

Hopefully, this will give me a good feel for the types of juices that are sold here.

Good choices! My feelings for Maple Burley are well known, and Car-Mal Mambo is probably the best caramel vape out there... the only one I have found without a chemical/plasticky taste.

I tried making just that tonight - an SS mesh microcoil wick with 31 kanthal in a phoenix. Couldn't get rid of the top coil hotspot, it fluctuated in ohms and sometimes shorted.

I've been punching a lot of vurley, blondie and Acacian Gold tonight. it's been a good day and I am happy that Australia has made it to the world cup finals!

Did you try working the hotspot/shorts out with a mech mod? As I pulsed it started out glowing just a few mm from the positive post, but after a minute it starts moving down until eventually it glows evenly. Also, my Phoenix clone from FastTech was almost unusable because of fluctuating ohms until I removed the center pin, wrapped it a bunch of times with waxed dental floss to insulate it and keep it from moving, and put a shorty 510-510 connection on it.

I haven't had GeJ's Wild Turkey in a while, so I loaded it into my Reo this morning... It has pretty much no flavor. Plenty of vapor, but extremely minimal flavor. Anyone else experience this with Wild Turkey? It's just about two months old.

It has flavor, but not compared to Sahara Blend. I tried them side-by-side and found Wild Turkey VERY wanting.

Yeah those two taste nothing alike to me. Wild Turkey has never been a very bold liquid, but I know it had more flavor than this the last time I used it. It seemed like Patriot dropped off in flavor a little towards the end of the bottle I had as well. Not as severe as WT, but a bit. Do GEJ's maybe have a shorter shelf life?

Absolutely agree

This popped in my head :)

Wat: You have been weighed.
Roland: You have been measured.
Kate: And you have absolutely...
Chaucer: Been found wanting.
William: Welcome to New World. God save you, if it is right that he should do so.

You know, I found the same with my last order. Although it was my first exposure to WT, it is my third bottle of Patriot. The first two were small bottles but this 30ml bottle doesn't taste the same. This is not the first time I've liked a juice and ordered a bigger bottle only to find the taste changed. I wonder what's up with that, as I've read it's happened to others on the Forum. The WT was not to my liking though I did order a large bottle of Bull Durham which is just as good as a small bottle I tried previously.

Just wrapped a sweet tight six loop 32g Kanthal coil that tests at 2.2 ohms for my Kanger T-3 and filled it with QNJ Habana Daydream - loaded this on my new SS Vamo V2 from Fasttech running at 9 watts - this is a nice vape with a hint of smokiness and sweetness but mostly just a medium stength tobacco taste.

:)

My latest Ahlusion order: ordered yesterday. Shipped today!

I got another 30ml of Sahara Blend (this time in 18mg, so I can mix it with my 12mg for a nice 15mg juice); a 30 of Black Pomegranate Tea (the 10 sample was shockingly good!); and 10ml bottles to try of Vanilla Wildwood, Apple Wildwood, Lemon Cream and Coconut Cream (my free sample).

Bliss. :closedeyes::)

"Your Name Fire Cured" contest beta NET from www.quicknicjuice.com . Vaped in an A6 at 1.6 ohms on a KTS Storm mechanical, and IGO-L with ss mesh wick at various watts on a VAMO.

Sweetness: (1 equals little to no sweetness, 5 equals sickenly sweet) 2.5 Pleasant sweetness that seems to come more from the base than the tobacco. This isn't a complaint, the base seems signature to these 4 NETs, is more noticable in Fire Cured, and is a glorious, delicous signature. Reminds me a tad of MountainOakVapors, especially noticed in Pendragon which is one of my favorite NET. It's odd, though it seems seperate from the tobacco, it feels completely at home in this vape.

Tobacco Impact (1 being extremely mild and 5 being very aggressive and/or complex): 4 Fire cured tobaccos like Latakia and fire cured Virginias have an immediately recognizable taste in vapes. It produces a smokiness that makes a NET so damn authentic to not just the flavor, but the experience of smoking, that synthetic tobacco flavorings I've had just can't do. It's the first thing I noticed when vaping this, and though it may come as a shocker to those new to it, this is the one fire cured vape that may change peoples minds who are timid to aggressive tobaccos. It eases back into more of a medium range tobacco after several vapes. There is some slight leafy and earthy tones to compliment the smokiness, offering a complex and authentic tobacco experience.

Vapability (1 being best for short sessions on occasion, 5 being an anytime, anywhere vape) 5. Bronze said it well, it's amazing how much flavor is packed into these without being dry. It's impressive how this juice will give a slap in the vape at first, but never crosses into aggressive territory. I love vapes with Latakia and other fire cured tobaccos.. in short sessions. This I can vape indefinately. It's the signature sweetness, along with just the right level of smokiness and tobacco complexity. I've been mainly vaping this juice for a couple days, without craving another flavor. That happens to me almost never.

Flavor Accuracy: No rating since it's not being sold a specific kind of vape yet. Fire cured tobacco is used in pipe tobacco, chewing tobacco, snuff, and I think sometimes in cigs. It's light on sugar and high in nic. This vape is sweeter than one normally gets in a fire cured vape, could be sold as a pipe tobacco or just as a fire cured tobacco vape.

Overall: 5. Get's my highest rating with a bullet. My favorite of these contest vapes, my favorite fire cured vape, and one of my favorite vapes of all time. I hope I'm inspired with a name that wins me a 30ml bottle of this, but will order it no matter, probably a few times.
