mmmm, HHV's Shadow... yep, Bavarian Creme... steeped less than a week. Just like my first order of Heavenly Army, it's good at the very beginning and can only get better. :) Unlike my first order of HA, I went straight for the 50ml bottle. I'm only sorry that it took until my 3rd HHV order to actually get some. It's like vaping a Bismark. Nice.

It probably won't take HA's place, but it's a nice sidekick for it.

Forgive me for being a bit of a name Nazi here, but it's Acadian Gold, not aRcadian Gold. As in Acadia, the area that Cajuns originated from in Canada before being forced to move to Louisiana. Cajun is short for Acadian. The name is probably a reference to the Perique in Acadian Gold as well, Perique being from Louisiana. This is the end of my rant about my favorite juice. Yes, I am protective. ;)

Corrected

Vaping Dulce Cubanito from Ahlusion. Anyone know if it changes much past the one month point? I'll vape it occasionally for a week or so before reviewing it, because it's not doing a whole lot for me yet. Maybe that'll change, but I'm not holding my breath. Has a synthetic Cuban Cigar taste that I liked at one time in a different juice, but got sick of.

Sahara's still steeping. Starting to take on a pinkish hue. Gold rising is turning into an almost glowing goldish yellow color. Both those have a certain scent that's similar, but I can't really describe it. Much different than the scent of other NETs.

And the scent of Lemon Cream has popped since a couple weeks ago, much stronger on the lemon.

Hey Buddy!!!

So I have been putting my liquids in the window where they get sun for about 4-5 days when I get them and it has drastically sped up the steeping. I'm rally liking Sahara and Dulce Cubanito. Dulce is not an in your face Cigar vape but I like it worlds better than the W2V cigars. Sahara is good as well and unlike any other A+ tobaccos. Very unique Vapes and I'm enjoying both!!!

Yeah I seem to be alone so far with DC not clicking, a few others love it. I've vaped less than a ml, so we'll see how it turns out for me. Right now, my introduction to DC is like meeting a person who reminds me of someone I used to like, but grew tired of. Need to get past my initial prejudice before being able to give a fair assessment.

Sahara I'm really going to dig. I enjoyed the brief taste I had of it fresh enough to start it up right away, but I've heard it really starts kicking with some age. It's more waiting it's turn to enter my rotation than me needing it aged, like JG Blend was. Apple Wild Woods was the biggest shocker of my latest Ahl juices, can't wait to dig into that one. I think the Wild Woods line is going to be something that hits home for me.

Latest DTs looking awesome bud, keep up the good work.

Louisville in the Protank, The Blond in the Phoenix with SS Mesh wick and Red Pirate in the Vision Eternity. After vaping some horribly disappointing synthetics I made the mistake of purchasing (No not Vaporstation, they are okay, 'okay'), I am returning to the fold with some good Want2Vape juices. It's good to be back. My love for NETs is reinforced.

I shall not err again. The only synthetics I've ever liked are Vapor4life, FSUSA, Niteline Vapor, BWB and Clouds of Vapor. The rest have been ordinary and I've never finished any of the bottles I've purchased from any other synthetic juice vendor. The newer era synthetics seem to be worse than old era, or am I just spoiled now by HHV, Goodejuice, W2V, MOV, Quicknic and other fine nets?

I think "ordinary" is where synthetic/artificial tobaccos shine. Yes - I know that may not sound like a ringing endorsement but...

Clean without residue, consistent flavor, in some cases a nondescript flavor, easy on gear, etc. They have a place in the library just as any other liquid does. There are times where I still will want just what artibacos offer.

I may prefer more cerebral stories with varying plotlines that move, grow, and change as I watch the movie or read the book. There are also times I want to watch something predictable that requires no thought or focus and where the fortress explodes or you know the guy will get the girl.

So no, I dont think you are spoiled... I think you are expecting something from artibacos that they were never supposed to have. :)

Sahara gets very sweet under the dry desert blast as it ages. I like it new and old.

DC doesn't work for me either. Kind of a powdery taste to it. Like the flavor of that candy dip stick thing you used to get at the ball field growing up.

Dang, did I miss your post about Nude Nicotine straight-up tobacco? I have a few of their juices steeping.

For those that are curious, Nude Nicotine tobacco e-liquids are true NETs. The extraction is done in-house with flue-cured tobacco.

I was so unimpressed with the smell alone I tossed it.
What's their extract method?

I've only had there NET offerings, but have been wanting to try their artibaccos for a while. Have seen mixed opinions on them, but they sound like I may like them. The Black Forest is a pretty unique offering that Luce liked, and Gold and TNO has it's share of fans.

If you like blueberry, Blue Ridge is a MUST arti-bacco from MOV.

Well, considering SB and SC take over a month to really bloom, the DC not changing would really surprising. It makes me curious why A+ tobaccos take such a long time to bloom. Has anyone asked Wlad why that is, even in soft plastic bottles?

I have a 60 and 30ml of DC ordered (today) I'll keep you guys updated. As soon as I get a slow steeper, I put it in a soft plastic 15ml to inhibit the change.

Oh, off topic, but IDGAF and I'm proud of myself. I've been on my new excersize routine (hour weight lifiting 3x/week and 30min cardio [jumproping] 3x/week and my new diet [6 small healthy meals/day])... I've lost 15 pounds in ~2 weeks. I'm f'ing psyched!!!!

What V4L synthetics have you enjoyed? I'm checking out the company's RY4s soon, but sadly the highly rated Jammin RY4 is out of production.

I was so unimpressed with the smell alone I tossed it. Yeah, Yeah. I may have been haltered on "hash"browns at the time, though.

What's their extract method?

Dang. By "tossed," did you mean trashed or PIF'd? If I have something I don't like, I just PIF it at a local vape shop.

The extraction is an ethanol/PG/VG soak using whole tobacco.

New NET vendor, www.Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco.com, e-liquids for electronic cigarettes, looks promising. They offer 14 NETS and extracts (adding more!) with a high degree of customization available. You can select PG/VG ratio, extra flavor, shipping method, and extraction method! They utilize cold, heated, and alcohol extraction methods and their main mixologist is a molecular biologist (sound familiar?). From their website, it looks like they have set up their business like true NET aficionados would recommend and I look forward to talking with them and trying their products.

Boo-Yah!! :w00t::w00t::w00t:

I'd venture to say that it rises to the level of a tizzy, perhaps even a brouhaha!

I have been reliably informed that I have samples of Dover Court, Chris' Blend, Gold, Balkan, Cognac Cigar and Chewbacco en route to me right now:)

Excellent! I'm going to try their Chris' Blend, Coventry and Dover Court as soon as the site opens. :)

JG Blend from Welcome to Ahlusion

The Juice: JG Blend is a Cavendish extracted tobacco from Ahlusions non-aromatic line, infused with coffee notes. Options selected were Dark Roast (Light Roast also available), 12mg nic, and 50/50 vg/pg. Aged for 1 month.

The Hardware: ERA clone dripping RBA on a VAMO.

Ratings are from 1-5 depending on where a juice falls in an attributes spectrum. Only the last rating, "overall", is based on 5 being the best.

Sweetness: 3. This is a comfortably sweet juice. They have the option to add additional sweetner, but the standard level of sweetness should be enough for most vapers. The tobacco involved is Cavendish, which is naturally sweet, so a sweet juice was expected. I wonder if it would be better if it was a little drier, but I don't feel it is at all too sweet. Smooth Criminal from Ahlusion continues to become drier after the first month, so I wonder if this will too after an additional month of age.

Tobacco Impact: 3. Similar to other Cavendish NETs, this one isn't smoky, leafy, grassy, or anything like that. It's not complex, but it tastes very good. Straight-forward and pleasantly sweet. It has an important role in the overall flavor, but know's it's role is that of supporting player. The lack of aggressiveness and bite is a big reason this works so well for me. Coffee is a very complex flavor, one of the most, and leafy or grassy tobacco notes might feel wrong with it.

Vapability: 5. Coffee flavor, when done right, is similar to straight tobacco or vanilla to me in that I can enjoy it at about any time, just like I can enjoy a cup of coffee at any time. The juice tastes great, full of flavor without being aggressive, smooth and sweet. Unlike other coffee tobaccos I've had, the coffee flavor stays strong with and doesn't quickly fade like others. It also has legs, I can gladly vape this for long periods.

Flavor Accuracy: 5. Sold as a coffee tobacco, tastes like a coffee tobacco. Ahlusion is at the top when it comes to authentic flavors, and JG Blend doesn't dissappoint. The coffee is fantastic. The dark roast option I chose tastes like a cup of fairly strong, high quality coffee, but isn't bitter or unpleasant in any way.

Overall: 5. Best coffee tobacco I've vaped, and by a fairly large margin. The tobacco is unremarkable while still being very good. The coffee side is where this juice really shine, and I'm glad the tobacco doesn't try to compete with it. I'm curious how this juice continues to age after several more weeks, but won't find out with this bottle since it's so good right now.

 Excellent review, Brother J.!

I used today's column to go over my favorite new (to my tastebuds) e-liquids of 2013. Unsurprisingly, most of the juices on the list are NETs and the top three slots are Ahlusion e-liquids.

What are your favorite new (to you) NETs of 2013 (thus far)?

JGBlend and Sahara Blend ,without a doubt. :)

Anyone else getting antsy to see those new QnJ's put up on the menu?

I am -- I want that vanilla-bacco! Does anyone have an ETA?

Not yet... I'm hoping they announce winners and have the new liquids on the site very soon. I'm sure it cant be an easy choice for them.

I am trying to maintain my patience :)

Last time we talked about it, they were going to go through the entries Monday and it would take a couple days to get them on the site... so, any time really.

Stopped in our new (and only) brick and mortar store today to meet the guys and check them out. Nice shop with a couple of lines of juices available for testing and a good selection of gear. I had Patriot in a AGA T2 and let the owner try it. He said it was the most realistic tobacco he had ever tried and the closest to a cigarette! It felt a little odd to be considered an advanced vaper after my whole seven months of experience!:vapor:

Good to know, I'll put Dulce Cubanito back it the box to age a couple more weeks.

Congrats on the wait loss. I've got about 15 pounds in my gut I'd like to lose. I eat fairly healthy, but could use more exercise.

Rpad,

The WOW segment are all good in my opinion. 555, wownana, wowboy (a special one for me with a chocolate tone and just a hint of mint).

The cowboy is pretty good too.

Good throat hit on V4L juices all round.

I don't recall the Ry4 to be honest.
