I am sure the heat extracted type is a simple hot VG or PG essence, given the amount used in a juice. These are very easy and inexpensive to make:

They are delicious, truly. But they will gunk up coils and cartos. If this wasn't the case, I would vape mine a lot more than I do. But a tobacco essence is quite stable with time, and indeed it improves with age dramatically. I have one that is over a year old, just in a dropper bottle for well over a year, and it is AMAZING now compared to when it was first made.

I know that Hangsen is now producing essences, but although they call it that, I'm not sure it is the same method.

If you have a favorite tobacco it's very easy to hot extract them. Just crunch up some tobacco put it in a jar and add pg to just over the top of the tobacco. Heat it in a crock pot or on a hot plate keeping it at about 125 degrees for about an hour. Then use a 30 ml syringe pull the plunger out of the back and place a wad of cotton inside. Shove the tobacco/pg mix (tobacco and all) inside and plunge through the cotton. When you've extracted all the juice from the tobacco discard the tobacco and repeat 2 more times through the cotton syringe with just the juice and that is it. You have extracted tobacco flavor.

@ those prices.

Make your own. It's dead simple and gives great results. The link that Kurt posted is the one that got me into tobacco extractions. Be sure to start with a tobacco that you enjoy. Cruddy tobacco will translate into a cruddy vape.
