Hey @Skold, I bought the coils from someone in the classifieds so unfortunately not something you can get all the time. The classifieds here are a gold mine though so I would suggest watching that forum just in general for cool stuff.

I've heard the clapton coils don't last very long for many but I haven't tried them enough myself.

For the cheapest option to get the 1.8s probably fasttech is your best bet. It is China so will take a while to deliver but if you plan right it is a great choice and cheap as chips:

$7.74 Authentic Aspire Nautilus 2 Clearomizer Replacement Coil Head (5-Pack) - 1.8ohm (4.2-5V) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
I just recieved 20 packs of these from FT. The price was great and they are authentic. Cheaper if you but more than 3-4 packs. Remember that CC and PayPal are not options with this Aspire product, so you need to use Bitcoin or a GC.

With ePacket shipping (a $0.50-1.00 upgrade), I get all of my FT packages within 2 weeks from China to Toronto, Canada.

Actually, with the coils I linked you can use Paypal. For some reason these, which are marked as Nautilus 2, can be bought with Paypal. Don't know how long that will last.

Cool thanks. I ordered a Nautilus 2 full tank kit from FT and it was no problem with a CC either.

My coils were easy enough though.... I bought a couple of $75 mods thru PayPal, cancelled the order and asked for a GC, then used the GC to buy the coils. Took a minute or two extra but still a bit of a pain.

Yeah I've done it several times w the older coils... Not sure why the newer ones can be bought w PayPal, unless it's that aspire simply hasnt brought the hammer down yet

Why on earth would Aspire care how their stuff is bought from a 3rd party?

It is a Paypal thing. Always was.
It is both... Aspire is the one who pushes PayPal for it.
Aspire doesn't like that FT sells below MSRP and therefore that is why on earth they care :)

Do you have any reference to back up that claim?
The fasttech forums are full of discussions about it. That is why you can buy coils and products of all other manufacturers. If it was paypal only you couldn't buy any.

"Aspire has petitioned PayPal to disallow it's use as a payment gateway for non-authorized distributors of aspire products.

FT is not an authorized aspire distributor because FT does not generally agree to Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) imposed by some suppliers/manufacturers.

This means FT can offer us genuine products at under MAP pricing, but has to keep secret information that could lead the original maker back to their supplier. This is so they can continue to provide us these products at better prices than most other places."
No Paypal accepted for Aspire products?: FastTech Forums

It is both Paypal and Aspire. If Aspire didn't push it would be a non-issue.

Hey guys I just wanted to add to my original post on the Nautilus 2.

Ive been using it most days now for the last few of weeks and it has gotten somewhat easier the o-rings are not as tight so its easier to open and close.

I also find that its better to fill it right up to the line as opposed to under filling it, maybe it has something to do with the amount of air left in the tank when sealing it tight, but I tend not to get leaking much now.

All in all I do like the tank and I would best describe it as fiddly to deal with but after some time you get into a system and it's less of a problem if your ok dealing with the fiddlyness.

I will say that there was an older woman in the vape shop last week and she came back in with the nautilus 2 and she was having similar problems, leaking, problem closing it due to how tight it is in the beginning.

So for people like that who want simplicity and are not interested in fiddlying about I don't think it's a good option.

For people who like building and/or are ok dealing with a little fiddlyness it's a great vaping tank.

I just wanted to let people know that it wasn't all bad and I am enjoying the tank the original post was more a list of problems I was having, but I didn't want to leave a totally negative impression because it is such an enjoyable vape particularly with the Turkish Tabocca from Liqua Q I have been filling the Nautilus 2 with lately.
