It btw is always worth while disassembling and reassembling a new tank when you first get one.. I didn't with one of mine and when I came to change the coil found it was in very tight.

Popping it in the fridge for 20 minutes didn't help so I set about with it with small needle nosed pliers...and the thing flew out of my hand and connected with the floor - marble tiled Spanish floors and Pyrex glass do not go well together!

Doing the disassembly reassembly bit does save a trip to the vape shop the next day!

I had the same thing with a stuck coil...spent a good half hour trying to get it out. What I did, was got ,do you know like a rubber wristband that you see people wearing, I put one of those on the atomiser, squeezed it around it tight, small twist, and it came straight out.

What tank do you use now? Any major problems with it?

I use the Eleaf Melo. I love it. I use very high percentage of PG, and because it's so thin, once in a while it will leak through the air holes. But, when I use 50/50, it doesn't leak at all. I used the Aspire Nautilus for so long (even though it was leaking), when I put the Melo on, I realized that I was NEVER getting the full flavor and throat hit I desired. Plus, it works great on my Eleaf Batteries and my new Snowwolf 75w.

A big problem I have with it is this...When refilling, after I tiurn it upside down, juice comes out of the mouth piece onto my hand, not a huge amount but definitely a noticeable amount.

This is the only time my mini leaks, and exactly what you said--onto my hand and not a huge amount. I don't believe mine is leaking from the mouthpiece; I think it leaks where the glass joins the top cap. I just fold a small amount of tissue, wrap it around that part, then unscrew the base to fill it. After it's filled, then I take that same tissue and wipe off any remaining liquid, usually a tiny film around the part with the air holes, not sure why it's there.

I never see/feel any liquid on my PV and none on the mini other than when refilling.

I have been using the full size units since they came out. Using numbers 6 and 7 atm. They are my daily take to work atty. one thing I have learned is they have a higher tendency to flood when the juice level gets below half full. I top mine off just before she reaches half and never have an issue.

A true Naughty BVC fan boy here; all I use on my five PVs at 15W. Any leaks I've experienced were due to:

- loose top cap
- loose tank on base
- loose head

A few lil' hints:

- tighten the head tighter than the tank to the base
- no need to over tighten the tank; firm is fine as long there is no leakage
- when refilling, Q-tip clean the base with head removed, the 'bottom' and top chambers of the tube for a 'cleaner' vape

Following most of the help in this thread should resolve anyone's Naughty issues. It's a rock solid device!

Anyone still dis-satisfied with their Nautili, I sure could use 'em fer my carto using v-verts. As for myself, I'm very well stocked. <Hope I don't get flak fer dat! If so, I'll remove this paragraph.>

ETA: Joose level has had no negative impacts fer moi.

I have both the mini and regular size Aspire. For some reason, when I install the regular size the message "no atomizer" comes up. I have tried it on the Eleaf 30, Sigelei 150 watt and Innokin MV?. but they all come up with the same message. Would it be a problem with the center pin? Tks

Have you replaced the coil yet? If you have and still get the message, then suspect the base center pin. Take a dental pic/small jeweler's screwdriver and gently 'pry' the pin up/out on at least three points on the pin's circumference. It won't take much at all to provide a good contact if the coil is OK. Also, insure you follow my hints as to head/coil-base assembly.

I have had a coil or two that had deformed threads. So be watchful for any undue/early binding during installation. If that occurs, STOP and try a different head.

Please keep us posted as to your efforts. Good luck!

It might be an iffy coil also, swapping it might be worth a try. I was using the subtank for a while, but found that i preferred the nautilus flavour. Never had it leak, even when it was down to half. Not saying you are doing something wrong at all @Irishvaper just my experience with them.

You have gotten a lot of good tips. I hope you get it to work for you.

+1 on Ken62's post - I discovered the in-flight leaking bit when I flew back to the UK in December to check out the house in Hawick after the floods. Knowing I'd be gasping for a vape when I got out of the airport at Newcastle I filled mine at Malaga so it'd be ready when we arrived - half way through the flight I found myself with a soaked shirt pocket! Not amusing!

I have 4 minis and 1 regular Nautilus tank and never experienced leaks. I did drop my full size and broke the glass tank. Replaced it with the lattice style tank (aesthetically more pleasing than the original glass tank) that has been dropped many times without damage. My Nautilus tanks have bounced around inside the saddlebags of my motorcycle for thousands of miles with no leakage or appreciable damage. With a 50/50 juice, 3 mg nicotine, vaping between 10W to 12W with an istick 40W TC, coils last about 3 to 4 weeks. Until something better arrives, the Nautilus is my go-to tank.
