Yeah, it will still wick that way, you just gotta watch out so it doesn't short from the contact down there
I have heard 3 or 4 different projected accumulations.. 6-10, 8-12, 10-16 and even up to 18.. Who the heck knows, though.. If it's gonna snow and be more than 8-10 inches, it might as well go even further and block my .... in for a couple of days

Now that you mention it..Think I heard that as well. Almost would want to drill that out to 1/8th, but dunno if that would work great without a press.. Isn't the wick hole closer to the pos post?
I would like to drill it out someday....especially if I ever get a ceramic wick.....the hole is pretty close to the pos post, but it's really close to the negative screw
So I got the wick in, it's coiled with 4/5 wraps, and no hot spots....wish me luck on filling and hoping it works......

So I got a couple good vapes then a harsh one......took the cap off, hot spot on the top coil....I can't get rid of it now....I adjust a bit, then fire and the top glows, then I try firing again and it won't because it's reading 1.1ohms.....fiddle with the coil, reads 1.4 ohms and fires, hot spot again, try to fire again and it's down to 1.1 or 1.0ohms......I don't get it
You got a short in there somewhere, it sounds like. How are you wrapping your coil to the pos post?
