Why couldn't they tax it? They can tax anything they want to, especially if they aren't making anything off of it and it poses a threat to the sale of their products (which are taxed out the rump). Yeah, they couldn't touch flavorings, maybe just availability.

I didn't think the fda can add taxes. Isn't that congresses job?

If I remember right, blu only sells prefilled cartos. I'm guessing lorilard knows more about what the fda is gonna do than we do. Otherwise wouldn't they have also gotten into ego style batteries and selling their own bottles of liquid instead of selling Johnson creek

I have a feeling blu does know something so does philip morris, on vaptv i saw they now have a stick style ecig out on select markets. Its all stick style prefilled cartridges.

As for taxing its easy just call nicotine a derivative of tobacco boom tobacco taxes added.

Honestly there is not much they can do for flavorings as all the flavorigns we use are there for soap makers, candie makers, bakers. Only maybe that italian company might have issues as they truly do cater to the ecig community over lorranne and flavor apprentice

Personally i see them expanding the tobacco tax to also include anything derived from tobacco which would include nicotine extract... however i see that causing issues as some organic farmers use nicotine as a pesticide on plants. I see it more plausible that they ban the premade nicotine juice from the us companies. possibly if they want to get down right evil all ecig components that are not mass produced like the stick style ones from njoy and blu

Well there is plenty of room to adapt with the sale of mods..a lot of them are and can be used with non-tobacco and non-illicit products. Worst case scenario, you just have to use an adapter to circumvent the 801, 510 threading (associating it with an ecig). As for the nicotine, farmers will typically buy in bulk and carry certain "credentials" to use it on their crops. The same for educational institutions.

True. I guess I wasn't thinking of them just putting it under the tobacco tax.

No..they don't want to go too far off of cig lookalike forms. Bad for marketing as they would lose credibility within BT and with the consumers.

Good point. I just hope they leave bottles of liquid and the nicotine level in them alone, and hopefully we'll still be able to buy liquid nicotine

No, technically the FDA can't impose a tax. But could you imagine congress or anybody else involved in being paid "by the people" turning down an opportunity to get incentives and pay hikes, because the taxes increased on products that aren't endorsed, normally, by those people?

I can see them possibly overlooking the nicotine solutions like DIY's get but i also see the death of the small pre made juice companies. I would not be suprised if all you can get is going to be prefilled cartridges in tobacco flavors only.

Yup, all this speculation is why i am over ordering on everything. I saved up about a grand to get myself stocked for a good year. About all I might need to buy is more pg and vg, not sure how much 2 gallons of each will last me.

Hit up essentialdepot for bulk PG and VG buys.. I grabbed a gallon of each for about $40, shipped to my door. Pretty sure you will end up paying less the more you buy. The CS is good, too, might even be able to negotiate if they don't "offer" it on site

Have a good one buddy! I would head to bed now, but Jen made me a drink and expects me to finish it. Can't let bourbon go to waste!
Love you more!

If anything remotely serious gets passed, you will see the demise of many of the smaller juice vendors. The stipulations, testings, taxes and other various regulations will have them backlogged for some time. For most, too long to stay afloat

I have a little more than half of each left and I mix for two people and have also made quite a bit for others. Pretty sure I will still be good on those until next winter, at least.

Haha, probably didn't "over order", but you will be good for a few years, yet again! Lol
