this was the preinstalled wick it must have had something cause ya the wick is burnt in spots

Did you adjust the coils evenly around the wick, making sure that it is loose around it?

I have them all on a HD.. We can just transfer to your laptop or computer, assuming you have enough memory for everything

You do not want to dry burn silica or cotton.. That will lead to it burning. Make sure it is nice and wet

You do not want to dry burn silica or cotton.. That will lead to it burning. Make sure it is nice and wet

I use a needle. I have a "helping hands" that has two clips on it..I usually put the needle and silica together, clamp and then wrap. Easy peasy..You could still do it without a clamp though.

Yeah, that's true. Good silica shouldn't scorch easily.. Should be fine doing it in short bursts. I was thinking more so towards the cotton and whatnot.. Thanks, Jake!
