Really? I have to admit, I'm kind of shocked by that..

Joe has it on dvr and watches it often...so I would watch parts of it while hanging out over there.
I admit I don't get out much and Lord knows it's harder than hell to watch a decent movie at my house....too many dang kids runnin around :banghead:

I may go chip a little more Ice again later, but since it's at the end of the driveway and not a sidewalk I might say screw it.

I'm watching my Hawkeyes hang tough with #2 Michigan. Considering we've got 3 freshman and a soph on the floor I'm very happy.
I may go chip a little more Ice again later, but since it's at the end of the driveway and not a sidewalk I might say screw it.

Not much..just watching some football and taking it easy. The Hawkeye BB team has been looking pretty good this season, so far. A 24 point lead is going to be difficult for them to overtake, especially against scUM. Nebraska has been starting to unravel after their good start to the season, also.

Yeah, I gotta do some mixing today as well.. I still have a boat load mixed, but I need my favorites re-stocked.

Yep....thats what I'm doing. Ive got roughly 250ml mixed up but a couple of the ones I like to use as additives are gone...in particular tobacco(tpa) and one called m-barro that i dont recall where I got it, but really like a few drops of it in with other tobaccos. Think it was a WL flavor. Also an m-type(tpa)...I think. Plus a couple more. Burnt through 30ml of real cig pretty quickly....and 1 or 2 more. I did gift Jake and Joe some of that stock so thats probably why the empty bottle syndrome snuck up on me.

Gotta clean the kitchen before I can even think about it.

I don't have Joe's recipe on me......and he is having a family Christmas today....so I'll wait till another day to get it. His recipe made 5 gallons, and it had all kinds of different alcohol in it....I think his recipe has like 5 750ml bottles of alcohol in it.....the stuff we were drinking last night was from this place.....Apple Pie Moonshine - Moonshine Recipes - - Moonshine Heritage
I can verify that it was delicious.....that recipe only makes 9 quarts though, and it just has apple juice, apple cider, white sugar, cinnamon sticks and a liter of Everclear.......I think I'm gonna try making some this week...

So I finally got around to trying to rebuild one of my vivi nova heads.....I'm amazed, it worked the first time I tried....took me a little while to do it, and I just guessed on how many wraps to do...it came out at 2.4 ohms, and I don't notice much difference, but the flavor seems a lot better....although I still can't turn it up much past 4 volts before I get a burnt taste.....been having an issue with my zmax....I love the thing overall, but I've noticed every now and then it will continue to fire the atty long after I let off the button and it doesn't seem to stop until I unscrew the atty, and it's getting harder to fire.....like I push the button and I'll be trying to take a hit from it and it's not doing anything.....I kinda have to really push hard on the button to get it to fire or push just right....I first started noticing it a few days after I got it, but since Friday evening it seems to be getting worse....doesn't do it all the time though.....I don't know what to do....I suppose I should take it back up to Plumes and have Sam take a look at it.....just such a long drive....

If you can (or willing to) try to clean up the contact area behind the fire button. It may just be stiff and dry or not releasing from the contact properly. Maybe a touch of oil or WD40 will do the trick. Never played around with a ZMax, but you should have access behind the button if you disassemble it.

Shouldn't void anything as long as you don't have to take apart the head/control unit.. I'm gonna check for a simple solution for ya.. hang on, sir!

It looks like it is supposed to keep firing after releasing the button, but only for like a second. Some people have had to mess around with the spring, as it was the battery putting pressure around the fire button and causing it to continue firing. I would say to unscrew the end cap until it stays powered on and see if the problem persists. If not, that's the problem and you can either cut the spring down, heat it up and retract it a little at a time, or just have it switched out.

Naw...just at the end where it meets the street.
About 6" thick....
Driveway and sidewalks are bone dry...but that crap at the street makes me all anxious...
It's a personality defect...lol....but it bothers me.....
