Eh, I'm alright.......better now that this Monday is over! Gonna try another coil on that ss wick when I get home in a minute.
How tight do you wrap the coil the ss wick? Pretty tight?

Yeah, I would say tight and snug as long is it's not pinching the wick. There are some out there that swear by a loose(ish) wrap, but if the wick is oxidized enough, it doesn't matter IMO

I was trying for snug last night but when I put the bottom center post in it loosens up the leg....I think if I pull on the legs when I put the post in it might hold it, but I did figure out when I tried that last night that I just ended up pulling out the extra wire I had wrapped around the legs of the coil....

I just took over guardianship of a kid I used to work with. His previous one was a POS and was suspended. Have to deal with emergency guardianship crap until the hearing next month.

That's really cool of you to do that man! How old is the kid? The only thing I really hate about doing foster care is dealing with all of the political bs, and the complete lack of communication between case workers and lawyers and everyone!

Yeah I start with a longer piece of wire than I'll need, then I make the coil and then bend the legs back up to just below the first coil on each side,then stick it all in the nova head and run the wires out the bottom, insert the rubber grommet and center post, then trim the wires...
