I hope it's okay if I post this here. Reader's Digest is running a contest for towns requesting help. The winning town receives $40,000 for their cause. A small town near me, Grand Marais, Michigan, has been winning the entire time and was ahead by over 20,000 votes last Friday. With only 5 days left, they are now only ahead by 4,000. I'm humbly asking if you would take the time to cast the allowable 10 votes per day over the next 5 days to help out this town, who really needs major help with the harbor.

I don't know what you mean. Once you sign up (and there's a contest you can enter, too), you can click on the city you want to vote for. Grand Marais, Michigan is who I'm requesting help for. I don't know what happened the last few hours, but now they have dropped to 2nd place. Am I misunderstanding your comment?

On the linked page you should see Grand Marais listed on the left, just click on it and it'll bring you to a form to enter your info (name, addy, e-mail). Then just click on the Cheer button on the left multiple times until it tells you you have reached your 10 cheer limit for the day.
