Need a lil help here Moderators - Not new got banned under false pretences

I'm John Phoenix.

I posted a message in the general forum asking what good wholesale companies there were because I wanted to browse them. I am thinking about starting an e-cig business. I am not now a seller of e-cigs nor have I ever sold one.

I just read over the rules again and am sure simply only asking this question did not break the rules. I got banned by Spaky and the reason was Unregistered Supplier: Ban will be lifted never.

All I did was ask for info. I did not act as a supplier, I did not advertise as a wholesaler in the general forum as is against the rules. I feel this is really unfair, as I try to be a contributing productive member of this community and was half way to becoming a veteran.

It seems to me Spaky read my title and jumped to conclusions without reading the thread because it had the word wholesale in it.

I e-mailed Angus Thursday. Thursday was also the date this message was posted. I am making this post in hopes someone can help me before that copy of the message gets deleted out of the system or your cached copies or backups. I want you to read the post to prove what I say is true.

I did not want perhaps a week go by before Angus could get to my e-mail and take a chance of the message proof to be gone so you could not see it.

I'd have PM'd Royalgate but it seems I cannot PM with this account until I re-post so many messages and didn't want to go through all that.

Please help me if you can. Thank you.

Good luck in your business ventures.

The admin and mods will sort you out eventually, but I'd imagine that moderating ECF is a huge chore, so your continued patience will probably pay off.

Thanks Mudflap. Ya know it's a do or die situation.. I mean, there is no place like ECF. Aside from losing 6 months worth of posts, helping folks trying to be really active in advocacy etc, it's not like one can just find another e-cig forum and start over. That option does not exist. If I broke the rules, I'd say yes I deserved it, but I honestly feel this was just a mistake. I try to do everything I can to stay in good standing with ECF because it is such a valuable resource and so highly depended on.

I occasionally get a post deleted for "spamming for post count"(?). If what you say is true you should have no problem.
