My aunt is a life long cigar smoker and she has been looking for a good E-cig that will provide her enough vapor like her cigars. They want something like my Pico and Merlin setup, but they wouldn't be able to wrap or build their own coils, or even just wick or put a pre-wrapped one in. Any recommendations for one that uses a screw in atomizer or something similar that would still perform like a rta?

Thanks.

That would perform as well as an rta? Depends on need. Does she want to see a lot of smoke or is it just about the nic for her? Cigar smokers are quite a bit different than cigarette smokers. Have you let her try your Pico/Merlin setup to see if she like the experience (well, after your new one arrives so it doesn't misfire and make a bad impression:))?

Most Cigar smokers are MTL not direct lung inhale. So I would think a tight lung inhale since a cigar draws easier than a cig. A Subtank Mini maybe? Several coil options now for the STM.
And cigars give a lot of nic so 12 mg juice for starters I would think even with a STM.
Vaporbeast may still have the STM's for about $23.

I got an Innokin Axiom the other day, I've only used the rba deck, but it has easily replaceable coils and seems to be a pretty versatile tank. There's a tread around here about it I'll try to put a link up in a bit. You will have to put a drip tip on it, it comes with a stupid chuff cap that you are supposed to use?
The others would be the Aspire line, Atlantis will chuck clouds and do a restricted mouth to lung, decent price and easy to find coils. Next it the Natulis, again decent price, but coils are getting harder to find and its a mouth to lung vape.
The choices are going to be a bit harder as most cigar smokers don't inhale, just draw into their mouths and exhale, but some do inhale into their lungs. If you could please find out which way she smokes cigars it would be very helpful to us finding the right tank for her.

Yea, shell want menthol. But she has tried the cheap ones and those haven't worked. All I've ever used are rta so i have no idea what the good screw in atomizer are.

Also the cigars they smoke are pretty much cigarettes i can't think of what brand they are.

As Eskie said let her try yours and see what she thinks on airflow and such.
Sorry but I do not know any menthol tobacco juices.
Menthol is horrible too me.

Of course you can find a tobacco she likes and just add a bit of menthol flavoring?

A cigar smoker wanting menthol? It's a little unusual. For a dead simple MTL setup, you can't go wrong with a small mod like a Pico or other iStick/whatever, and a Nautilus mini. Coils are easily replaceable.
From Cigars she might want something a bit looser than a nauti mini though?

I always punched my cigars, never clipped them. I prefered the tighter, more flavorful draw personally. I'd have to vote for the Innokin T18 or T22. The coils are easily replaced, top fill, and is very similar to a cigarette (or any other machine made tobacco product). The vapor production is surprising for the size.

Links to MVS T22 or T18

I have a T18 they are butthole tight and a bit warm. I think one of the new all in ones would be better.

Ahh so about like a cig on draw.
I smoked those and similar for a while. Cheaper than cigs by far.
A Subtank mini V2 can come close to the draw with different air flow adjustments, but can also be opened up for a restricted lung hit if desired.
Finding a menthol tobacco flavor she will like will be the big thing.

If you DIY I would recommend Hangsen Desert Ship flavoring with some menthol added.

The tobacco ejuice I found that suited me best when I started was Clayton brand.
Usually sold in gas stations and such.
Google it.

Okay thanks, and yea if she cand find a flavor that she likes that would help, worst case she would have to add menthol to a regular tobacco flavor.

Do you use a Subtank Mini for MTL? Keep seeing you suggest it and it confuses the heck out of me. I LOVE my subtank mini's don't get me wrong, but if I was going to get a cheap MTL tank with replaceable coils I'd go for something like my Nautilus over it in a heartbeat. Quick search on ebay shows lots of coils left.
