Yea, shell want menthol. But she has tried the cheap ones and those haven't worked. All I've ever used are rta so i have no idea what the good screw in atomizer are.

"The cheap ones" isn't very descriptive or narrow. Some are far better than others and may suit her better. "haven't worked" also may show unreasonable expectation. To me, "working" in the sense of someone starting out means something they actually enjoy. There is no need at that point to see how or when it will replace smoking for them, only to see it's something compelling enough they'd like to keep doing it and it won't fall by the wayside. Sometimes, it seems, that requires something impressive, sometimes just good. Good juice helps, I actually trace my bug back to a disposable running out of juice before battery that I refilled with a friend's chocolate-menthol mix, it was excellent for about half an hour and actually almost 2 years before I considered myself a nonsmoker.

Nautilus and a small mod is highly recommended.
Of all the semi-cigalikes, Juul is has been reviewed as very much like smoking. Expensive to use. Of other cigalikes, menthol does help.
I would choose a single coil (original) EVOD with a battery set to 3.4-3.5V (Kanger or clone), 2.2 ohm coil (Kanger only), with Goodejuice Patriot 12 mg. Cig/cigar flavor that's KILLER in that setup. Cheap, cheap-ish coils, takes some practice to get the draw right, sometimes a bit troublesome but small enough.
The Subtank is also highly recommended, I don't get it but many have reported they couldn't completely start smoking until upgrading to one or something at that level. Could be too much/ too unfamiliar a draw for her.

Yea, i was talking with my uncle about trying a different e cig for her. I'll have her try mine, but that'll be at least 3 weeks she is in the hospital for a flesh eating bacteria. Hell maybe she wont even need a cigarette when she gets out, but if she does an e cig would be a good start. I think she tried the blu ecigs before and it wasnt enough nic or vapor. They are like pack a day smokers so they need more nicotine. I quit instantly when I started using ecig at 24mg nic.

Do you use a Subtank Mini for MTL? Keep seeing you suggest it and it confuses the heck out of me. I LOVE my subtank mini's don't get me wrong, but if I was going to get a cheap MTL tank with replaceable coils I'd go for something like my Nautilus over it in a heartbeat. Quick search on ebay shows lots of coils left.
The only reason I go for the STM is it's versatility.
It can progress from a slightly loose MTL to a restricted lung inhale.
Offers several different factory coil options as well as an RBA. And parts are readily available.
As you should be able to tell it is my fav single tank. I have several other varieties but use it the most.
Just a suggestion. the Nautilus is a great tank as well.

I was a 2PAD + smoker of the Cherry version of those cigars. I would suggest the Joye eVic Basic device paired up with the Cubis Pro Mini, or the Eleaf iStick Pico 75W TC with a Melo 3 Mini.
Both are small, and can use replaceable coils.

Can't help with the liquid, other than a good strong mental at 1st, about 18 or 16 mg nic. Those cigars pack more nicotine than a normal cig.

I'd take a look at Nicoticket and Vista Vapors online first, they have an incredible amount of good liquids, especially for beginners, if those two don't do it, look at Mt. Baker Vapor as well as Indigo Vapor and Johnson's Creek, Backwoods Brew might have something she likes. O_O, wow, dug back into my vapor beginnings with those companies.

Hey guys I have had a chance to talk to my aunt some more on this topic. She would like to try my old lavatube V2.5 and see how she likes it first. The only problem is that she can't wrap coils and build them, so I would need a suggestion for a screw in atty tank that sells atomizer heads that are over 1.2Ω, because that is the lowest resistance the lavatube will read. Thanks!

I am really liking my gs-air's. I have the mini's, the full size and the shorties. I like the mini's better than the others because of the size. Since I am home all the time refilling isn't a problem for me. I use the 1.5Ω or the 1.2Ω replaceable coils in them.

$6.39 Authentic Eleaf GS Air 2 Bottom Coil Tank Clearomizer - 2ml / 0.75ohm / chromed brass + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$6.74 Authentic Eleaf GS-Tank Pure Cotton Coil Head (5-Pack) - 1.2ohm(8-30W) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$11.01 Replacement Coil Head for Eleaf GS Air Clearomizer (10-Pack) 10-pack - 1.5ohm / 8-20W at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I also use and enjoy my Evod glass toppers with 1.5Ω coils but you may need a 510 to ego adapter to use them on the Lavatube.

Menthol, go with the product line that HALO has. They specialize in menthols and menthol tobacco vapes. REally. If not sure which one, just put in a request to the customer service and they will pick a few for ya.
Are all of their menthol flavors mixed with tobacco flavors? They give names that don't really explain what other flavors are in there. Thanks.

No, most of the menthols are NOT mixed w/tobacco.

That is why when I started w/them I asked CS. But people in hte Halo topic can probably help ya
