Hey everybody.
I haven't squonked before, but I think i'm in need of a good one that can do proper TC...preferably with a dna chip.
I do MTL RDAs exclusively lately and getting kinda tired of carrying a bottle with me when I go out (and my glasses so I can see where I drip....:w00t:)
I'm thinking as small as possible with a ergonomic(ish) design...them big square boxes just don't do it for me. I've been looking around, but don't see much...not at a reasonable price that is.
Anybody know of one that will suit my needs? Thanks in advance :)

The other affordable option is the new Vandy Vape 80W Pulse. The consensus in the community is that its TC is weak, but I'm pretty sure it's a "Gene" chip in sheep's clothings, so it should be able to do good TC with some updates.
Btw vv 80w not really small in size (same or slight bigger size compare with my hotcig r150 dual batt mod)..

I agree with sonny, for an inexpensive DNA squonk mod the Inbox VT is hard to beat.

I personally went with a USModz Stinger DNA75C, though it does cost much more than the Inbox, it has a few more features (75C chip, 18650, 20700, 21700 battery compatibility, very light weight, and US made with quality support from the manufacturer) and it is well worth the price.

There is an inexpensive option that does not have a DNA chip, and it is new so there isn't feedback on it yet, but the price is great. $38.77 Authentic Arctic Dolphin Anita 100W TC VW APV Squonk Box Mod - 5-100W / 93-343C'(200-600F') / 1*18650/20700/21700 / ABS / black frame at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I have the Anita and it is not small and has a few too many problems. The only plus I give it is a 21700 battery..

Thanks, I have been waiting to hear some feedback before I picked one up for my wife. What seems to be the issues? If it is just temp control or something else we don't use, it still may be a contender.

1) If you use a 21700 battery the fit is more than too tight. I had to physically push it n place and getting it out is worse.
2) the panels do not sit flush inside frame too much wiggle room. When changing bottle,or battery, you have to physically push them nto place too. The magnets are not strong enough to pull panels in place.
3) with a 21700 battery the bottle does not have any suction back on the squonk. When you squeeze the bottle,it stays pressed in. You physically have to move the bottle to get the suction n it. I do not think they thought about that when designing mod.

Thank you, those are deal breakers for me. I appreciate the info.

Thanks all. Really appreciate the input.
I don't as yet see something that's screaming out at me. I'm full of shyte, but I know they're working hard out there on something that's got my name on it...:p
Something like the Aspire Feedlink but with a DNA chip driving it maybe...:thumb:

The HCigar Aurora should be out in a few days. Might be what you're after.

Yes the 20th is the day mine is shown as being either shipped or ready to be shipped.
Yeah, just noticed this morning that FT pushed it out again to the 25th. :(

There's been several times I've seen items available at US vendors before FT gets them. Then still have to wait on the slow boat.

Usually, I only order from FT when it's something I'm not in a hurry for, or can't find at a US vendor. I noticed MVS has the Aurora listed on the 'coming soon' section. First US vendor (that I frequent) that has listed anything for the Aurora. I might have waited for MVS to get it in stock rather than ordered it from FT had I seen that a while back when I ordered it. Then again, MVS isn't the fastest vendor as far as stocking new items. I'll leave my FT order in place for now.

I'm willing to bet that VaporDNA picks it up in the US as well and they seem to be one of the first places to get things in stock here.

While I have seen pretty much exactly what you are describing, I have only seen them in the high end hand made stab wood units that cost quite the pretty penny.

Yep I saw that anniepan on the FT forum said they should still get the initial first orders of the device for shipping on the 20th though. So if you ordered the day they went on sale you should get yours shipped ? Just going from what is posted.
