My mom is the queen of Tootle Puffers but has trouble even changing an old coil. This question has been asked but the choices and technology have changed.

What is the most bullet proof, easiest to use set up, I can get for her.

She had a MVP2 with 1.8ohm coils in a Kanger Pro tank 3. It is hard to imagine there being anything simpler than that.

I should add that she uses 0mg nic juice so a cigalike is out of the question. Plus she wouldn't like it.

Maybe an Evod kit? I do not know so any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Bloodless, she likes custards and such that gunk up the coils after a few months. Yes, coil changing is a challenge for her. She is getting better but her MVP2 bit the dust so I am tasked with purchasing something simple.

I do not know if it gets any easier than a pro tank coil change? Maybe I need to set her up with multiple tanks ready to go? I see her often enough to change them for her. She is a hipster in a great grandmothers body.

If she liked the MVP2.0 then you could always replace it with an MVP20w. Same form factor and I believe it operates in the same way.

Can't suggest any tanks as the last "plug and play" I used was the Nautilus mini. Good clearomizer, good taste and I found it easy to use. I only used the 1.8Ω coils but I don't know how it compares to the pro tank 3.

You should get her to visit the tootle puffer thread, she would learn a lot in there :thumb:

Rixta the coil change is difficult. I am not even going to try the Internet! She knows how to shop online with no problem though. No smart phones, texting, e-mail, she wanted to get on Facebook and just couldn't do it. I tried to get her to join us in the 21st century but it is a scary place! She is awesome though.

Bigme, I was thinking about the nautalis. I will check out the MVP20. Thanks!

Hamar, I think a nautalis of some type would be the ticket. Probably get the regular for more juice capacity. Thanks!

In my opinion and I know you want this to be as simple as possible for her, but in my opinion every vaper should at least know how to replace a pre-made coil in their tank setup. I'm not saying they should go out and learn ohm's law and learn about voltage drops and contact points, etc...

But does anyone know of a vaper who at some point in their life hasn't been happily vaping and their coil for whatever reason stops working? Me either! I love to keep it simple especially when dealing with new vapers but we should all at least know how to unscrew an old coil and stick a new one into the tank.

If she really doesn't want to do any of that at all you really do limit yourself to the little stick ecigs at the gas stations, that will never work for me at least.

IMO, the Aspire Nautilus is right up your mom's alley. Maybe an Atlantis. They both seem pretty easy to operate and the coils last a good period of time. As far as mods go, the MPV V2 is good but if she wants something new, the iStick 30w is a nice, easy to operate mod with a good price point.

Not only is the 20 watt MVP good, but so is the Cool Fire IV. Easy to fill the Nautilus's both sizes, and you can also buy the metal cage with diamond cutouts replacement toppers (both sizes) for the Nauti's to prevent breakage. :)

Exactly what I would recommend. Or for something smaller an Innokin VV v3 or 4 - needs to be charged more frequently, but cheap enough to buy two. It is really hard to kill the Innokins, and believe me, I've tried.

The only problem with the Nautilus is that with my full size, with authentic diamond cut out cage, I've had the coils stay threaded to the cage part instead of the base. It's just a little harder to detach from there, but can be annoying.

I call the VV4 in the middle my Scepter, the others are VV3s. I also have and use MVPs 3 & 4 and I won a Disrupter, but those are a little heavy on bad hand days. I'm getting myself a Coolfire IV for my vapeversary - yes, I'm an Innokin fan-girl.

Another iTaste MVP, a Joyetech Evic VTC Mini, or even a couple of iTaste VV 3 (ego sized) for the battery devices (always good to have a backup). All three are solidly constructed by reputable manufacturers (Innokin and Joyetech).

I would not get an iStick. They have too high of a failure rate and their construction is not as solid as the above devices. Their processor chip also doesn't "step down" their voltage accurately, so they may taste too warm or harsh to a tootle puffer. The Evic and iTaste products use a higher end processor which steps down accurately.

Aspire Mini Nautilus for the tank. Coils are huge compared to the Protank. If she's a tootle puffer, get the highest ohm coils available.

Yes, it does.
Try a Kangertech e-smart BCC kit (there is also a non-BCC set, but then you cannot change the coil). Base and Coil are one piece, so filling the tank or changing the coil is one single operation, one single thread to open and close for both operations. I use the clearo regularly (with cotton in it and I change the cotton according to need), you would not believe how good it is, being that small. But it is not a cigalike.

I believe the itaste devices will suit your needs. Others seem to agree.

I never owned one, but I really do like the ego size VV3 and the newer VV4. The MVP20 is also a good choice, but not as form factor friendly.

There are plenty of tanks to choose from, which is the difficult part. I would browse the online retailers you frequent and see what you like best for a tank. I believe myvaporstore carries a variety of tanks for standard resistance.
