So I got an iTaste MVP v2 last night and love it! The General (my much better half) looked at the mods they had at the B&M but didn't see anything she loved.

I want to surprise her with something and see if she likes it. What she likes is VV (she would love a VW), easy to use, not too quirky, and slim or easy to carry and use. She is running an Ego Twist with a 1000 and 1300mah battery. She has a bunch of the Vapeonly CE5-S clearomizers and a Vivi Nova.

Anyway- I was looking at the Vamo v3 but couldn't find the specs (I don't speak metric very well).

Please advise. Thank you (as always)!

i recently got my wife an itaste vv v3. she wasn't into the big battery mods and the v3 wasn't that much bigger than her ego batteries. it's got good battery life and very easy to work plus its vv/vw. i don't have any experience with the vamo so i can't offer much insight on that one, but a lot of people like it.

I have the Provari Mini and absolutly love it, hands down, and I've had quite a few different mods. If my hubby were to surprise me with a Provari Mini I would be in insainly happy. I can't say enough good things honestly. I also have the ZMax Mini that I was lucky enough to receive from IBTanked in a Christmas "Drawing" and that would be nice as well as a lower priced mod. I honestly don't even use vw anymore (SID and ZMax Mini). The VV on my Mini is more than enough for me. My Provari Mini is Simple, Sleek, Stylish, Classy and Built Solid all rolled up into one, in my opinion.

I second this. A couple of guys I know use these all day at work when they have 2-3 different clearomizers at different ohms. Plus the Passthrough kits for them are peanuts.

I gave my girlfriend a Kamry X6 with a Protank. She was vaping a cigalike, and eventually, she needed something more, but she wasn't interested in anything complicated that she has to fiddle with. I wanted her to have a step up from a typical Ego though. The 1300 mah batt lasts her more than a day (she's not a heavy vaper) and the limited VV range suits her well. It's small, light, has a nice shape, and fits in her purse well. She's pretty happy with it thus far.

Ok, so we went to the vape shop today to just get some coils and she saw the Vamo Bamboo V3 on sale. Long story short, that's what she walked out with and absolutely loves it! Thank you all for your help! Now only if I could find a manual for the v3. Anyone have any leads? Searching Google and no luck yet.

Pretty short and simple operating instructions:

5 clicks turns this unit on and off
Press and hold the left button for three seconds to see remaining battery voltage
Press and hold the right button to see atomizer resistance.
To switch between Variable Voltage and Variable Wattage, press and hold both mini buttons button to enter the menu system. The first menu choice is where you can switch between variable voltage and variable wattage. Wait for a second and it goes into a choice between these two. Click the button once to move to the desired setting (voltage or wattage). Once it is displayed on the screen wait a second or so for it to disappear off the OLED screen and you will be in that mode.
You can also adjust what is displayed on the main screen when vaping. You can choose between: Atomizer resistance, remaining battery voltage, and power mode setting in voltage or watts. You choose this in one of the menu settings.
Variable Voltage: 3.0-6.0v in .1 increments
Variable Wattage: 3.0-15W in .5 increments
Reverse Polarity protection
Short circuit protection
Over discharge protection
Thermal Monitoring shuts unit off if it detects high temperatures
Works with atomizers with resistance between 1.5-5.0ohms. If it detects a resistance lower than 1.2 it shows a 'Low Resistance' warning.
'Low V' displays if battery needs recharged
10 second shut-off
Maximum amperage: 5 AMPS
Dimensions: 177.5mm high in 18350 mode (4.25 inches; 139mm high in 18650 mode (5.5 inches); 22mm wide at base.

Thank you Jake! Also found out if you hold the left button for about 10 secs it can enter "mean" mode or "RMS". I don't know the difference in the two other than RMS mode has a much better vape. Also when nothing is attached and you hold the right button for about 10 secs you get a battery picture. Kind of funny.

So I take it there is no memory battery to retain your settings when you switch batteries?

Thank you!

I used to see all these Provari users talking about their Provaris and how great they were. I looked at them and said no way I will spend 200.00 bucks. I bought a Vamo and that died, within 3 months. I bought a Provari 8 months a go and have had 0 problems. I wish I had done this since day one and I would have saved hundreds. I know 200 is a lot to throw out there, but you save in the long run,not to mention, you have 0 frustration. Provari users are not arrogant, they are knowledgeable.
