Hello guys and girls.

this post maybe should be in avp section but i am a noob so dont want to be bombarded with technical answers.
So i been vaping for 1 month and love it, quit stinkys and vaping all the way.
Like every new person to vaping we tend to go shop and shop more till we find something we are happy with. i purchase few toys and i am happy with them , also few tanks and also are happy with them, BUT TIME HAS COME, to get something truly nice, something that has a good performance and it will last. ( its like having a nice car and then your 2nd car and 3rd and then you want a Ferrari or a lambo )

I need advice on a new toy and probably new tank.
I AM WILLING TO SPEND EVEN 500 OR 1,000 if it can out perform with what i got already.

i'm not a very technical person so i will never build coils. i am looking for a new toy and i want to get something good , something that will last me, and something that has a style, performance.

i vape 1.8 ohm coils and my settings usually are 3.7V or 7W , now i know there is a 2.0 ohm coils but never tried them and mostly will never do, i am not very technical person at all so the volts and watts and ohm loose me very quick. my settings that i use all the time is 3.7v or 7W on 1.8 ohm,

i will post few pictures to show you what i got so far, so with what i got i want to go with something higher, i know the toys i have typically you don't need anything else, i mean the mods i have do what they do and do it well, but i wonder if there is something more better more stylish and of course better performance.
I have Zmax V5, Smok SID, Itaste MVP 2.0, and ego twist. also the tanks i have aspire dual coil tanks , kanger pro tank 2, and other tanks, so with what i have most people be happy but i am looking for the last buy, i want to get something for the last time, but something nice. and i know a lot of is preference, everyone has what they like and dislike.

i was looking into some mods like:
Provari
Nemessis ( mechanical mod, no clue if its good or not but looks good )
and that's where my knowledge of mods ends.

So my QUESTION is what should i get? i want to make the LAST BUY, but want to get something truly good and good performance.
pictures of what i have so far.

also i am looking for a new tank, there is so many of them, that not even sure where to start, as you can see i have few already but again i am looking for the better one.

ANY ADVICE IS TRULY APPRECIATED. Thank you

Well this is merely opinion, that being said - Provari with an IBTanked carto tank or Reo Grand VV.

Nemmy is great as is standard Reo Grand - but if you do not intend on building coils to accommodate your 'sweet spot' you will probably find the above 2 choices to have fiddle free solid performance. If you are interested in rebuilding - then any of the 4 LOL. I know its a tough decision, but Really - you are going to get a million suggestions and it depends on what appeals to you in the end.

Maybe use the suggestions for a list and check out the subforums here on your final favorites (aesthetics and such that appeal to you most) and see what folks who own them are experiencing. You can also youtube reviews of your final faves to help pick too!

Good luck and happy unicorn hunting!

I have similar kit to you.

If money was no object, I'd buy a Provari (with 18650 extender) and a Nemesis with kick 2.

If you want an atomizer to go with them, look into Kayfun. Personally, I don't use big RBAs as much as I should given the quality of the vape, but I think size has something to do with it.

OP said there is no interest in building coils. So Kayfun is out. However, OP if at all possible I would reconsider that. At least try a cheap clone dripper because after vaping for 3 years now I can tell you my personal experience is a Kayfun, Taifun, squape etc. with a microcoil and cotton wick is that lambo/Ferrari vape you are after.

However, as it seems you already have capable devices and what's considered top of the line already for toppers maybe you should look at bottom feeders. A Reo is in that premier line your looking for.

I agree with Creepy Lady. Out of all the mods and delivery devices that I've accumulated over 1.5 years, I'm using Provari's and IBTanked cartotanks almost exclusively.

Why Provari?

Pyrex is GLASS.

"Q: Are these tanks Pyrex?

A: Pyrex is a bit of a misnomer. When it was first developed it referred to Borosilicate Glass but now it is a brand name and may or may not be Borosilicate. Our glass is from top suppliers and either Borosilicate or Quartz Glass (where noted). We try to avoid Quartz Glass where we can because it does not offer benefits to our application and is typically ten times as expensive making it difficult to stock material in the wide variety of sizes needed to service our ever changing market. If you can encourage device makers not to use Quartz Glass as it only adds cost with the only benefit being a buzzword Fused Quartz. You as the force of the market will control this." - http://www.ibtanked.com/faq

OP, I went through something very similar. I ended up with couple of Innokin SVDs, !34s and a Lava Tube. I finally got a Provari and discovered that my Vaping experience changed for the better. I got a very consistent hit with a longer vape time per battery drain. I still had the problem of inconsistent draw hits due to juice and atomizer differences. The Aspire Nautilus solved that problem. With its 5 mil tank and adjustable airflow mechanism, I have now been able to have an all day, consistent vape with 1 battery and atomizer tank:

I don't understand the love for Provari; I've never seen one in the flesh though. From what I see they are only variable voltage, and the display isn't even OLED; I can't see why they cost what they do given those two negatives (the previous word reflects my opinion).

Read the blog Why Provari? Read the previous threads about the Provari at the end of the blog to learn why the Provari is so popular with its owners.

Provape designed the Provari to be the most durable VV mod available. It is made from the best materials available to make it military grade durable. The LED display that Provape uses is liquid proof; OLED is not liquid proof so is not used in the Provari.

Variable voltage and variable wattage are essentially the same thing, just taking a different approach to get to the same place.

So they need to source or design a liquid proof OLED. Why not give us an OLED that doesn't say 'Voltag' , or split the text between lines, like the ones I'm currently aware of. I'm sure It's not impossible to have a liquid proof OLED that gives a good (non annoying) display.

I know the differences between V and W. But you see, I want to try different coils (different resistances) without needing to either do the calculation (I know it's easy, I'm an engineer) or step around at 0.1 increments/decrements until I find the sweet spot. Note that even the same coil will change in resistance over time, and I don't want to tinker over time; I want the device to do it for me.

If Provari don't up their game, then some other manufacturer, that are in possession of all the great attributes you highlight in your blog entry, are going to step in to the market and give me what I want.

My preference is the Provari with a Kayfun Lite+. The Provari is bullet proof and the Kayfun Lite+ is by far the best tank for flavor and vapor (using a 1.5 ohm micro coil and organic cotton) that I have used since I started vaping in August of 2012. Between my fiancee and I, we own 3 Provaris and 2 Kayfun Lite + and one Kayfun clone.

I'm not trashing mechanical mods. They are extremely popular and have their legion of fans. As a relative newcomer to mods though, realize that a mechanical mod has no built-in protective circuitry like a regulated mod has. No short circuit protection, no automatic timed cutoff, no thermal protection, no reverse battery protection, etc.

You also will not get voltage regulation with a mechanical mod. With a mech, you are at the mercy of the battery's charged status. It will have the best vaping experience with a fully charged battery and then become gradually and steadily downhill until the battery is drained. Yes, you can put a Kick regulator in a mech to keep the voltage output consistant to what you set it, but why do that when a full-featured regulated mod does the same thing and more with more convenience? (LED display, voltage meter, ohm reader, protection circuitry)
