Thank you everyone for your input greatly appreciated, i am leaning more towards the mini provari and a standard one, the blog is very informative, i do have a question what you guys think of Caravela mod? someone mentioned it and i google it and it looks professional.

Caravela and Nemesis are two very beautiful mechanical mods, annd very much like your automotive analogy; after owning a Chevy for years the experience of sliding into a Lamborghini is going to be awe inspiring, that is right up until you realize you have no clue how to drive at the cars capability level. More often than not your Chevy will get you from point A to point B smoother, safer, and without the slightest bit of drama. The Lamborghini on the other hand is going to push you to your limits, scare the crap out of you, make you feel foolish at times, and look sexy as hell the whole time.

Most folks refer to the Provari as the Cadillac of mods, I'd more liken them to a HMMWV (solid, purpose built, ugly) they aren't exceptional, rather common, and that's exactly why they are popular. They have mastered the art of making uniformity seem like an attractive quality. Push the fire button and it delivers the same thing every time, wow.

For you, Provari is calling.

That is unless some industrious person comes up with a kick-like device that is better than what's available now, like a DNA 30 for tube mods or something along those lines.

In the end, if you like Nemesis and Caravela because they look like the Lamborghini of vape gear, buy them. Someone will produce a device that makes them hit with the uniform precision of the guards posted at the tomb of the unknown soldier, and if not; well they still look sexy as hell just sitting there along side the Provari you vape all day.

I'm going to make my own analogy here on the Provari vs. Mechanical mod thing; Provari is like a steady relationship (consistent and generally satisfying) Mechanical mods are like a midlife crisis fling with some exceptionally hot partner you know isn't going to last (it might be a fleeting moment, but damn it was good).

Wow! I just counted all my mods and I think I may have an addiction. I have 3 Provari's, a Cool Fire II, Hammer clone, VTR, Vmod XL, Darwin, "Kicked" Silver Bullet, Magneto, K100, an old original iTaste, 2 real Kayfun Lite+ and a clone, a Helios clone and a ton of other accessories, tanks and atomizers. I wonder how long it's going to be before someone starts up a Vaping Toys Anonymous group.

Sure does...

But those Caravelas are soooooooooooo purdy.... and small. :)

I truly think the direction of vaping is going is on the regulated side. When we can get better performance on our regulated devices than on our mechanicals, and we can today, why settle? The solution is for the mechs to add regulation, then I'll buy one.

In a discussion with Imeo, he said he's done with mechs and will be building regulated devices in the future. Now that's something I can get excited about. I do like the 14500's, but I also think the 26650 is calling me. No battery changes in a day? That works. Now I just need a 10 mil tank, and I'm set for the day, and as a defensive weapon, can't be beat.

But you are SO RIGHT. They are just beautiful. I try not to look to long. That's how I got here in the first place!

Lately, though, I'm working on becoming a coil freak. I have jigs and rigs and coil and cotton, and my vape has improved about 150 - 200% since the first of the year. Me likee! Oh, please take those Caravela's away! They are beautiful. Sinful!!! Thanks kat!

Hehehehe... I just tell myself that they are mechs--and I feel better immediately. I don't do mechs for the reasons you so eloquently outlined above. But I have never seen a mod more beautiful than a Caravela.

Thank you guys, it seems like the provari is the candidate , it seems everyone says its solid performance and looks nice, so i am thinking of a provari, the Nemesis looks nice and shiny and has a nice logo on it, MONEY IS NOT A PROBLEM, for me i love vaping i am a chain vaper, i know also that ejuice makes a big difference too, i buy a premium e juices. anyhow, i was looking at provari but is there a high end product like provari out there and also that looks nice?

I concur with the Provari. But if you don't want to mess with carto tanks and you are not into rebuilding, look at the new Aspire Nautilus tank. Love mine. Here is a link for it. Aspire Nautilus Bottom Dual Coil (BDC) Clearomizer. Good luck & VAPE ON:vapor:
