i would recommend the ego batteries and ce4 clearomisers too. been using them for six months and the batteries are still going like new. can get the complete kit for ten pounds in the UK . buy two or three . replacement ce4 s are only 3 quid for decent ones although you can pick them up for 2 but not as good. never had one leak yet. there you go that's my recommendation for a first kit and to be honest i have no intention of upgrading . i also use a usb variable voltage pass thru from liberty flights for 12 quid. the ones without the battery. best of luck.

So how about the kanger protank 2 v2 and kanger EVOD Ego/510 battery 650mah? Amd also some ce4's for other flavors and get 2 of the batteries. Is the protank compatible with the ego batery?please Dont rip on me if its an obvious question
My problem with Kanger 650 mAh batteries is that they don't last very long. Depending on how you vape, of course. But if you vape a lot, I would seriously look at that kit that Racehorse suggested earlier in the thread.

It's also fully customizable--you can get two different batteries and two different toppers (ProTanks are extra because they are glass). I's recommend getting at least one Vision Spinner, and a T3S and a ProTank (mini or regular).
CE4s are old technology--don't get them. There are much better clearomizers on the market.

You can find an iTaste MVP v2 kit with the Clearo tank for $70-80 at a B&M, get a couple of juices and you're set.
I got the Triton starter kit, with one small battery and one large batter (2 options, 400 and 650), as they are sized different and might be better suited for different activities. That, a mini-tank g6 which can thread on the triton batteries and is shorter than the normal tank, and produced hotter vapes, has been fantastic to me. Also their Tribeca flavor is fantastic, I've already reordered twice.

To be perfectly honest, I'd stay away from the various kits out there and go straight for a VV/VW mod with a couple of tanks to get started. I started with an eGo kit, and while it was instrumental in getting me off of cigarettes, I quickly found myself wanting more control over, well, everything.
You can get something like an Innokin iTaste SVD and a couple of Kanger Protanks - or whichever tank style you prefer - for under $100 in several of the vape shops I've visited. The only other things you'll need are batteries, a battery charger, and ejuice. You can find some really good deals online, too, but they're not always in stock unless you order from someone like Fasttech, which isn't based in America and takes a really long time to ship.

I also recommend saving your money on egos and buying an MVP v2 or even the itaste vv3.0! Both are great starter e cigs, would of saved me a lot of time and money then purchasing all my busted egos!
I use the MVP v2, mostly use my aerotank but have a few protanks and aspires for different flavors. This seems to be the best bang for the buck and satisfies my needs. I vape at low voltages, 3.4-3.8 mostly.

Well i already ordered them, no turning back now, but you said its a good starter and i like the look, in the future i plan to save for something real good but for now its what worked for my budget while still looking decent and being referred from a veteran
Well i made the mistake of having my starter get here a few days before my juice, now i work in a few hours and have no juice, but pumped to finally have it and get it on the charger

Had my buddy bring over his pineapple and he filled my t3s, so im good for the day, dont get to use my protank till tmr but atleast i have some juice for work, loving the vision spinners though they are a bit bulky for a pocket, still very satisfied with my kit
