Need advice on buying starter kit

I want to buy a starter kit ASAP. the reason is to STOP smoking, so only want 1 kit and 1 kit only.,

i found the joyetech eRoll, read about a few others but this reading is all too time consuming! I like the size of it plus its good to travel with. i never want to be a collecter and have no intention of vaping for years and dont need something monstrous.

as per price i am flexible, dont need the cheapest but also not too expensive, since i dont plan on being a heavy consumer.

i like the size of the joyetech and travel to other countries lots, so small is good. i do not understand how many puffs one gets off it before the cartridge is empty, nor how time consuming it is to fill or pop other cartridges in. i definitely do not intend to smoke it all day either, just when i really need a cigarette.

Can anyone advise on what i should just buy. just something that will do its job for the next 6 months or more. Any advice is really appreciated, i really do not want to spend a week researching everything, would appreciate hearing from those that know.

also i am from canada so am not sure where its best to order from and i heard something about a vegetable glycerin additive rahter than the other bad one., any advice on this would be awesome!!

thank you all so much!

For me, I can never get use to e-cig a like products...it didn't give me the same "hit" as regular cig...it's not until I got into tank systems then I could fully quit.

If somebody told me they wanted something to start out with I would recommend
MVP 2.0 + Mini kanger aero tank or Nautilus Aspire Mini with BVC coils
Eleaf Istick (ego 510 adapter) + Mini kanger aero tank or Nautilus Aspire Mini with BVC coils
These are box mods so it's subjective if you like the feel in your hands or not,the plus is that have long battery life versus cig like battery

Pen shape devices
Another option is Vision Spinner 2, Innokin VV v3, of course there is Provape Provari..but I'm not sure you want to spend that much yet.

These aren't started kits, but in time you'll see that buying these items separately will save you money in the long run

The eRoll is possibly not my choice. Those tiny cartridges and expensive/outdated atomizers are not to my liking really.

I would say, 1 kit and 1 kit only, I'd be tempted to recommend a pair of small eGo batteries and a pair of Aspire K1 clearomizers with a stock of BVC replacement heads.

Vape quality, longevity of atomizers, ease of use... an eGo with a mini tank beats almost everything. As the K1 uses the best atomizer heads on the market, there's no contest.

There is some great kit coming through these days, and Joyetech have come alive recently with some innovative clearomiser technology. I was challenging them to wake up to this over a year ago. They have delivered. Size-wize, though (for small tanks), Aspire wins the battle.

Why do you want to vape? To quit smoking? If yes, I would advise to buy something bigger. For me thing like this one did not work when I tried it.
I am middle of the way vaper. For me 700 mah battery lasts for about 7 hours (100 mah per hour). eRoll has 90 mah battery – good for less than one hour for me.

Edit: If you want to quit smoking one kit is never enough. You need spare.

I would recommed an itaste vv v3 and a miniprotank2.

If you like the Joyetech eRoll, Joyetech is a reputable company, and you'd need to keep buying replacement atomizers and cartridges/or I think the eroll might be refillable.

Once you use cartridge types like the eroll, after a few weeks I think you'll find yourself unhappy about not being sure about whether the cartridge is empty or not. This is why people end up using a clear tank system where you can just look at the tank and see if it's empty or not.

I started with a 650mah KangerTech EVOD battery and a T3S tank. Small, not as small as a "cig-a-like" but smaller than a mod. It worked for me and I still use it everyday. I was hesitant about the big pen shaped devices or box shaped, but I'm telling you, CIG a likes never cut it for me because I could never get a decent hit. Good luck.

thank you all, well maybe "perhaps" still a cig a like, but maybe the EGo (middle size) could be considered.

so what should i buy, want to do this fast and simple., and since people seem to buy one and then the next maybe best to spend 60 to 100 dollars, since i have decided that this is the how i want to transition to being a complete non-moker (including vaping - however might be handy to keep on hand in case of stressful situations).

just cant be huge and too strange looking. i travel to places like india where one is stared at anyhow, dont need any "extra" attention. so a cig look a like or maybe a bit bigger but not too obvious (certainly not colorful :) ) would be ok. anyhow, i dont plan to use it 25 times a day....maybe 10..?

want to order today or tomorrow at latest. thanks all!!!!

itaste vv v3 starter kit; it's ego sized; unlike standard ego battery it won't roll off the table and fall on the floor.

I really like my itaste vv, but if I were buying it again, I'd skip the starter kit in favor of the express kit. The iclear 16 clearos that come in the starter kit are pretty lame. I only paid five dollars more to get five tanks, so it sounded like a good deal, but I'd rather have the five dollars back.

Mini Nautilus and at least an Itaste MVP. I think a 30 watt box mod would be a better idea - longer battery life and more useful should you find Vaping enjoyable like the rest of us. I bought a starter kit 35 days ago. Not enough of a hit off of it to keep me from smoking. Currently I have a mech mod and a Sigelei 100 watt \ fogger on the way. I really wasted about $150 on equipment before I knew what I wanted. If you are a medium to heavy smoker ego batteries will only get you through part of the day and take about 5 hours each to charge. The iTaste can be used while it is charging

you are all awesome, thank you, however, i dont understand any terminology and when i search for these things dont know if i am getting the whole kits, peices, and or.,, .

i dont like how the VV3 (posting with picture) looks,.....and cant really find the aspire K1 to check out. there are other words and cannisters and other stuff i dont understand whatit is.

i think we need to forget the word "starter" kit.

i just need something not huge and bulky and/or ugly. but should have a good lifetime, good batteries , power, all that stuff, not too bulky parts, i can recharge and fill up and all that stuff at nighttimes,

ok, open to one or two kits, therefore, can you please help, price doesnt matter anymore. i will be in asia for 6 moths where i can not order stuff, or it would bw complicated to do so........wanna order whats gooda and what i need and be done with it. it would seriously take me a year to understand all these peices and parts and if and why and what........its SOOOO complicated!! i just need to knwo what to order.....pls,,,and thx.....

if some veterans can pls....recommend and advise. thanks so much.

Best bang for the buck and most widely recommended starter kit is an MVP2 kit; you can find them for like $40 stateside.
But it is a box shaped thing; compact.
It will last you a long time but not forever, but by then you'd have stopped smoking and have a better idea which way you want to go in the longer term; for some people it's high powered vaping on a so-called dripper, and for some it's a tank system or maybe even a cartotank system.

Here is review of the Aspire Mini Nautilus on top e-go device..

thank u for sending that, but which one do you smoke out of the one on the left or right? if its the one on the left i unfortunately do not like how it looks. i should probably also mention that i am a female not a male and so i just dont want to attract any extra attention plus simply dont like to smoke out of something so strange looking....as i will be in public most of the time.

I am less than a week into vaping but I've had no desire for an analog. I didn't want something that looked or felt too much like an old cigarette. I have the Nautilus mini and the Spinner II battery, A middle of the road investment but it's been a great one for me. I love nicotine and don't really see myself going 100% nicotine free. I've already made runs to the local shop for different blends and I see myself going into a hobbyist mode rather quickly...Best of luck

I know you are hesitant about the box mods but these device are very versatile. search DNA30 on google check out a couple videos etc. And the battery can be changed when it finally dies instead of having to buy a new device. A new battery for this is about $12 where as a new ego style starter battery is $30 or more. And I have the Mini Nautilus shown above. Great flavor, and it feels like you are smoking

Welcome Babalu!

If you want to buy one starter kit and be done with it, I would recommend a Provari...that is what worked for me. The rest of the Chinese devices eventually bombed out on me and had to be tossed and re-purchased.

Also, higher wattage does not mean longer battery life. In fact, if you leverage all of the wattage you are actually draining the batteries faster and using more juice in the process. Here is a very well written Blog on why go the Provari route...

Provaris will satisfy all vaping needs with the exception of blowing huge clouds which is normally done a very low resistance levels (meaning the juice topper is pretty much unrestricted in drawing current from the battery.)

Top reasons:

-Great support if you need it, which I never have.
-Very Reliable
-Uses replaceable batteries so you don't have to toss it and get a new one once your batteries die....and ALL batteries eventually die.
-Safe - Will not let you fire the device if there is an electrical problem, like a hard short.
-Supports every kind of juice delivery system (with Ego Style connectors you will need an adapter)
-Regulated Power allows you to get the same vape experience on a fresh battery as on one that is nearly discharged.
-Vape quality is also out of this world because the battery being regulated delivers consistent voltage, no dips or surges in power delivery.
-Not overly expensive considering the quality and durability of the device.
-Extremely well machined parts.
-Goes through about seven quality checks before being shipped to you. I am not exaggerating this. Every step of the manufacturing process there is another quality inspection on every single device.

Once I got my Provari, I never looked at another vaping battery and I have not regretted one second of my decision.

212.95 plus tax and shipping gets you a Standard Provari, battery charger, two batteries an Iclear 30s or an Aspire Nautilus tank.
