I know this will sound horridly ghetto but it's my 2 cents: get a couple 450 mah ego style bats, and a couple of cheap bcc and toss them inside an altoids tin. Before you laugh, hear out my reasoning. I don't have a tin to measure with but I'm confidant you could get 2 bats and 1 tank in there maybe 2 tanks or a 5ml bottle even. Obviously it won't be the greatest vape ever BUT you're only out there risking 15-20 dollars not 100-200. If I lost or damaged any setup I'd certainly be annoyed, but if I lost/ damaged a more expensive mod I'd be livid.

Back in the blue foam days that is exactly what I did. Velamint or altoids tin with paper towel liner to cut the noise when I walked. Very small bottle of juice, couple of batts, prefilled and capped tips.

An ego 650 will fit in a Camel snus tin but they are not hinged.

Umm - I have no horse in this race, and I suspect the REO is a great choice as well (if you don't mind using a RDA)

The neat (to me at least) thing about the Billet Box, is it uses plain cartos. Has a 6ml juice tank, uses two small batteries, is about the size of a deck of cards.

Everything is replaceable. So as long as you don't crush the box you're safe. I have bad hands, and drop stuff, and break glass tanks a lot. Mine is coming (YAY me) - in my mind this is a perfect PV.

Whatever you like and are happy with is great. The variety of options is huge, the key is finding what you like.

Thanks for the links. I just can't justify spending that kind of money. $500 on junk in 2 months. I gotta ego it for a while. I am just leery of cartos after the blue foam days. A friend gave me a Green Leaf kit with cartos and it was ok but clearos are so easy.

I board, mountain bike and dirt bike with my reo grand in a sandwich baggie (prevents dust and fuzz) in a hard shell eye glasses case. By the recommendation that I saw SuperX give another vaper on the forums. Thanks Supe!

I was always worried I would snap my provari off at the 510. Never again I tell ya. This little guy is a beast

Hehe - that's what makes all our choices so sweet. I, on the other hand, got completely fed up with all the different clearos I used, tried, threw away - that worked once, then flooded, or got a bad taste, or had too hard a pull, and on and on. I then switched to carto/tanks (Love IBTanked FYI) and have yet to become unhappy. Draw getting too tight, toss the carto. Weird taste, toss the carto, etc..
Think I've only had 2 or 3 cartos that didn't last me a week - no flooding or gurgling yet either.

I do not have enough knowledge or time vaping to be able to judge the 'best'. But I do think whatever works for you is what's best for you. The OP asked a question, and IMO there have been many great replies - a pity no one but us seem to be reading this thread :p

Although I agree the REO is the most durable it is not a cheap option.

If you don't have a problem with clones. My HCigar hammer + Igo-L is a nice durable dripping solution. THe IGO is completely supported by the connection on the hammer. In 18350 mode it is one compact and durable little beast without breaking the bank.

I long time vaping buddie of mine uses a vapage vmod and recommends it to me. I guess I gotta get over to his house and see it. I looked at a video of a reo style wood bottom feeder with magnets on the end caps. I was a nice looking piece. So much love at ECF for IBtanked. Guess I'll have to give them a look.

About a week after getting my starter kit I dropped my new ego 900 straight down on the concrete. Rough spot on the edge of the chrome cap and wouldn't hold a charge. Shop exchanged it for me but I don't know if it was bad or if the drop killed it. I would hate to have a $150-200 mod hit the ground and be ruined.
