I'm answering these as I too am looking for something better than Green Smoke or Red Dragon which is what I have now.... any suggestions appreciated.
What cigarettes do you smoke? was Marlboro mild shorts (not lights)
How often do you smoke? pack a day so 20 times
Do you care if it looks more or less like a cigarette? not too much but would prefer it resemble it just for the hands on part of smoking
Do you mind futzing with it frequently to make it work better? nope I like futzing with stuff
Do you think you want to see and feel a lot of vapor? yes, a fair amount
Do you think you need a lot of throat hit? not too much but some is good
Would you mind pushing a little button to turn the battery on? not at all
Does the size of it matter? prefer it not be too big or heavy
Or you going to be using it mostly at home? On the road? Inside? Outside? at home normally I go outdoors for analog so I do the same with vaping
Any ideas for me? Thanks so much!

I will definetly be posting how it goes once i get it, thanks alot to all for feedback and advice, I dont think ill need the USB or car thing due to my not to frequent smoking, but good to know their out there

You definitely want a manual switch PV. Based on your answers, I would suggest either Joye 510/Janty Dura-C or even better would be the Janty Stick. Here are some links:

I'm married, so I can't really answer that.
But yeah, I'd agree with this dude.
Your answers seem to put you (for now) squarely between a 510 with manual batteries and an upgraded custom model like the Janty stick or some others.
But since you would "prefer" that it look like at least somewhat like a cigarette, and since you might not want a really big throat hit, I am thinking once again that the 510 might be more right for you.
But take a look at some of the pictures of the Janty Stick, Screwdriver, Greek Goddess, Prodigy, and ZiMoshi in the pictures thread stuck somewhere at the top of this subforum. They will all give you much better battery life, the tradeoff being the looks of them, since they have been modified to accomodate that battery that gives that longer life and bigger throat hit.
