need atty connector for 510

I'm going to be doing this mod very soon (whenever the parts come in, ordered 'em last friday) http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modders-forum/10458-my-romisen-cree-rc-a8-mod.html

I'm going to be using 510 attys since those are the e-cigs I use and those are the attys that I have a lot of. So I need a connector, taking apart an almost dead battery is useless it's a pain in the ... and I don't have many tools to work with.

What can I use to connect a 510 atty? Where can I get it? How can I make it? Any help on this subject? I've looked and maybe I didn't look good enough so a point in the right direction would be great.

401 atty or 401 battery charger (requires modification) or a dead 510 battery.

thanks crash I appreciate it. Always good to get all the sources since I broke a dead atty trying to pull the connector off a 510 battery.

wow getting the rubber insulator in the center has proven to be a pain right in the ...... 10 minutes I've been trying with absolutely no success, I'm going to put it down now and hopefully someone will tell me exactly how easy it is to put it in there.

it's prolly easier to take the center connector out, solder on your wire, than use some
epoxy putty or a dab of silicon caulk on it and re-insert the center connector back into the connector body. I've never been able to re-seat the center connector using the original O-ring.

There's also a nice howto assembly video on madvapes for assembling the connectors...It works pretty well.
