Withdraws or addiction ??? WHATS NEXT

hello fellow vapers need your take on this one . Things are going better for me last week but not sure about what I am experiencing today is from a withdrawal or my new found addiction from vaping

PLEASE be honest here and dont try to snow ball me with saying ohh!! its NOT an addiction nor A DRUG REPLACEMNT TO SMOKING . SURE ITS PROB BETTER BUT ITS STILL A DRUG . Note and im dealing with the WTA's AKA the MAGIC JUICE TOO so thats more to consider here at least in my case. .

With that said I need to ask opinion ONLY from folks who started vaping and stayed smoking BECAUSE THEY HAD TO ( of course for the moment) and what happened as far as getting sick and or withdrawals right before they finally transitioned. Or when they did both smoke vape before they wer able to make the transition to vape only.

Now I was sick before esp at day 11 up till day 18th . That first time I thought and I said I would not touch another smoke EVER AGAIN. However that day and following days I had to smoke to keep my check ( sanity) . Self regulated as I continued to transition detox from the Poisson sticks . ( LONG STORY) if ya want to know do a search.

Anyways The last few weeks I cut back down to 3-5 smokes /day total yea!!. Last night my throat was sore from vaping , YES I DRINK 4-5 WATERS AN HOUR> Anyways vaping was NOT cutting it and I had a few smokes then +( 2) at the end of the night . However had prob 6-7 for the day. Now I pretty much felt ok yesterday and about the same on Sat (The day before) Last fgew days when I had about 5 smokes/Day all week.

Now first thing this morning I had nothing , Like my normal old work week routine . Took shower as coffee brewed, showered/ dressed and off to work. Then vaped as I would normally have a smoke I felt fine . Vaped a bit an hour latter fine . Then felt Way off like I HAD to smoke . Well I did and it turned for the worse like real fast .

Flue symptoms, cold sweaty hands , sick to my stomach it lasted about 45min- 1 hr . That is when I vapped a little again for the first time then a little more to see as the day goes . But everyday I have come to the point where I HAD to have a smoke so ..i been listening to my body as I diidn't want to end up where I did a few times from Not listening.

so I need to know what the hell is going on?? Give it to me straight and don't lie or try to snow ball me

now u tell me what happened or is happening to my body?
Cuz the night before I smoked and was fine

is the reaction from the Withdraws or the new addiction?
And how should I play it out from here ?

Thanks we will get through this … I thought it was over by now I realize its just begun.... Hopefully I got over the 3 week hump... hell period . Right or wrong and is there more to come ?????? Cuz this sucs

Kenny, I have been smoking for good 22 years, well over a pack a day in the last year and a half. I was told at least three times by my family doctor to quit smoking. Prior to e-cigs, I have tried gum, patches, Zyban, and Champix, twice. The longest I have been smoke-free was about 4 months and it was a struggle every second of every minute, constant fight. Then, one day at the lake, friend showed my his e-cig. It was DSE 901, if I recall properly. He had a spare set so for entire day I could use it with 24mg liquid. I ordered my first set first thing monday morning. Quickly discovered 24mg was way too much nicotine for me and quickly adjusted to 18mg, but for the first 1.5 month, or so, I was still having smokes when I could not get satisfaction any more. I would say my first 40-50 days were most difficult, but I kept telling my self "it is in your brain only". Second month - another story. In the first month I did not experience any situations requiring anger management, but I did sweat a lot at night and at times had strange mood swings... What gave me encouragement was the food. After about 3 weeks everything started to smell and taste so much better, I cut down heavily on salt and sugar - found I don't need as much to get my level of taste. What helped me a lot were Low Resistance cartos, in my case this was what gave me satisfaction in terms of craving. I progressively cut down on nic, down to 11mg then down to 8, now I vape pretty much "ultra lights" at 6mg nic with satisfying throat hit. But this would not be possible without variable voltage battery and good (in my opinion) cartos. So be strong, if you need an analog in case of an emergency do have it, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. If there is a vapers meetup in your area do attend and find setup that you like and satisfies you. Good luck, you are almost there.

Kenny, I think its be said in other post but we are not doctors so trying to tell you what going on in your body needs to be told you by a doctor, i Know some of it is from nic with drawl, and the other thing i'l say is that i still have not seen a post on your gear what kind of e-liquid you are using. This could help the forum out with telling you some of the answers you seeking. But i will also say hang in there you get it at some point.

Good luck

Today is One month to date and I have avoided over 400 analogs . but that is going to CHANGE
Btw How long do I need to be totally clean till I can fly a banner and where do I get one?

“Its a wonderful kind of day”
“where people work and play”
…........ “and we get a log with each other”

If anyone knows that tune? name it..that's the trivia for the day. Lol.....

Ok as to my answer . Guess I was WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO SAY …..”LET GO BRO” …ITS TIME TO MOVE ON.. “The fact u were sick from an Analog is GOOD”, “Your body and brain is saying Give it up man”.... “Those sticks of poison were killen your body and keeping your brain numb”

Well today will be exactly ONE month since I started on this journey . Its been rough ride as I was not able transition to vaping for MANY reasons . Wrong equipment bum carto's wrong Juice, no support at home ect.... Yesterday I had ONE smoke and got sick . I am now able to vape and get full . However its not the same and still have some bugs to work out. But I am better off than I was 4 weeks ago . " i think"

Btw I DO NOT MISS TOBACCO Much “yet” . (Only the night I drank a few) But I cheated too . So in fact I been vaping fruits . And at night after I am full I vape my favorite juice toasted almond I cant wait till I find another jounce I like that is also a WTA . And I am running out quickly .
Pray for me that my juice arrives on time.....

Hey KennyV
Glad to see you're staying focused on this vaping journey & not giving up.

My story:
When I finally got 24 mg nicotine & a Kgo battery + 1.7 ohm cartomizer, I felt I could make headway with vaping.

But even with that setuo, I did not quit immediately & start vaping. I had 1 or 2 cigs/day for months! I enjoyed most that cig at night. Last thing before going to sleep. After awhile, it was just that last one. Then a couple of days I forgot to smoke at night. Got busy or something. I would wake up the next morning & say to myself, "wow I didn't smoke yesterday. :). Hmmm"

About 8-9 months into vaping, I started going weeks without a cig. Then I would think "gee am I missing something?" Then try a cig. At first it tasted good. I enjoyed it. Then maybe a couple weeks later I tried a cig & it was yucky. Only smoked 1/2 & put it out.

One night I sat down on my porch. Got a cig, lighter, ashtray. Nice night. Got a cold diet Pepsi. Sat down in my favorite chair & lit 'er up. Ready for a wonderful experience of a long lost smoke. YUCK! Took 2 drags. Said "this is awful. Stupid." Put it out & haven't touched one since. That's been about a month now.

Just wanted you to know that not everyone quits immediately. And I am still using 24 mg nicotine almost a year later.

Sorry for the too long story. :)

Not sure about anything else but I found this very interesting link:

Electrolytes are as important as water! Deficiency causes fatigue and palpitations!
Welcome to The Doctors TV Show

Other than that link, I have no idea what to say. I smoked for the first 9 months of vaping, I only got feeling ill ONCE, I always keep some 0 nic around to vape if I have anxiety palpitations but it's never happened a second time, so it's aging on my shelf. I'm still glad I have it though. On that one occasion I felt like I HAD to smoke but of course smoking makes it worse if you're allready "full up" on nicotine. The rest of the time, when I "HAD to smoke", I just did, until I figured out I was no longer making progress. (I made HUGE progress my first 5 months of vaping, none in the last 4 months, so I quit smoking. Still getting cravings, but I'm managing to vape through them.)
