I usually have a vape fest when new flavors come to try. I have read that some people get headaches when they vape to much, up until now I have not. I am not ruling it out, but I got to say, I did not vape for at least 3 hours. The headache went away. My husband is now sitting right next to me filling a cartomizer with the Juicy Fruit juice and as I am sitting here smelling it, the headache is starting to pulsate over my right eye again. SO as strange as this might sound I think the Juicy Fruit liquid from KBV gives me a head ache, not vaping it but smelling it. With my luck he is going to declare this his new favorite all day vape and I will have to smell it all day long (we work together out of the hoouse.)

Yeah, I know it is a mental addiction, but the intelligent part of my brain is currently fighting with the other part (I assume that is the part of my brain that used to get me in trouble when I was a teen ager) the intelligent part of my brain is trying to figure out why in the hell the other part would want to do something that now makes me gag. One would asume that once you get to that point it would be easier to quit, but no, not me I am just gagging through it.

It would probably help if the hubby stopped buying stinky sticks. He is on the slow plan. He has though cut down from a solid pack and half a day to about 10 a day so that is worth something.
I know what you're going through, I live with two heavy smokers myself. It took me awhile to adjust and snuck a few drags in here and there. I wouldn't fret too much about it, you'll both get there eventually. You're successes so far are what matters most.

I smoked a long time. When I started Smoking they cost $.25 a pack when I quit they were getting close to $8.00 a pack. Mod is right because I tried one a couple months after I started vaping and it was terrible. I haven't smoked another one. My son ask if I wanted one yesterday and it was no problem telling him no. It's just not the same as vaping to me. Besides they stink.

$8.00 dollars a pack! OMG, they are only $6.50 here! They make me sick to, but that doesn't stop me!

I have noticed that both this time and the last time I vaped and tried not to smoke, that chatting on this board and focusing on vaping an equipment seems to help.

We have the VV now, we don't have to wait.View attachment 41574

Rosco, speak for yourself, you might not have to wait, but I do! I guess I could buy a buzz tooday, but it would be really silly to buy a buzz and then upgrade in 3 weeks! (See previous post #120 on spending more money then when we were full on smoking)

So I do have to wait and it makes me very sad! 5card needs to write a new song and make me smile again!

OK curiosity got the best of me and I did look at the GG (or whatever it was page) they say they are beautifully designed but I did not think so. It reminded me of a chuck on my husbands drill. My son was standing behind me and thought I was looking at a light saber. He is now making star wars noices. The one I clicked on was $220, even the ProVari is less then that. $220 and it is not even VV. Finally what is up with the button that looks like the most uncomfortable place for a button. With my little hands I would have to push the button with my pinky (or it would not be balanced right) Not happy to have to wait three weeks (still sad, and no song from 5card) but I will do so!

This thread might have started as my what to buy thread, but it is now the keep me company while I wait three long weeks for my Buzz Pro thread.

lol I'm waiting with you. I've been wanting a Buzz for awhile now but finances kept getting in the way. Fortunately the Buzz Pro will be coming out around the time I should have the money to get one. I agree with you on the GG. The price for what it does (or doesn't do) isn't worth it in my opinion. There's really nothing special about it to justify the price. My current mod allows me to vape at the same voltages and I spent less than half what GG costs.

Hello and I am sorry for not reading all the pages, but if money isn't a factor the I would get A GGTS. This mod is everything you can ask for. There are many battery adaptations you can do without adding any adapters. It takes the 510, 801, or even the 901 att at any given time. Check them out on here. When you check out this sub-forum, be sure to look at these stickies - Battery Compatiblity, GG vs other mods, and finally the GG on Wiki.

You can purchase the GG products over at CoV. Bruce has awesome costumer services.

If you are interested in a mod, let me know, I may have a mod available

If all of this has been posted already, I am sorry. I just didn't want to read thru all the pages.

Bonehead

I had a gg, I got rid of it as soon as I got a Buzz. They're okay if fixed voltage is your thing but fixed voltage is like making love with your sox on after you use Variable Voltage and notcigs makes the best Variable Voltage PVs around.

moorea I see that Bonehead only has 11 pots so he's obviously new to vaping and excited like we all were with our first mods and with time he will learn what's great in the ecig world. I know I went through the learing process myself.

I had the buzz but rid of it cause I found the GG series. If you are worried and or want a vv, I would recommend waiting it out. The GG series will have one soon, I promise. I would begin with any GGTS, with the UFS mod(kindda like a tank mod, but BETTER). Let me know, I do have on extra(used GGTS), but well taken cared of and I may part with it.

Bonehead

Bonehead , Umm this is NOT the Imeo forum Sorry but it is not cool to post like that here !

Do you see my customers going to the Imeo forum and posting about the Buzz ??? Btw if and when Imeo comes out with a VV device it WILL be a knockoff of our design in basic form , he makes a cute looking device but it is really just a battery holder IMO !

If you're really a newbie Bonehead, then you're in dire need of some schooling. First, posting this in another suppliers forum is truly a "bonehead" move. Secondly, there's no freakin' way a sane person would "rid of" a Buzz for a fixed volt PV that costs more than twice as much. I'm not sure what you had in mind when you posted this but I don't think you'll convince too many people in here. We all know better.

Sorry if I offended you, but the title of the thread stated "need help deciding..." I didn't know it was part of a supplier forum and I apologize for that. It was simple mistake that I own up too. All I did was click new posts(since I am new here) and responded and didn't even notice or had it even crossed my mind like that. All that I saw was "help me choose..."

I see that Bonehead only has 11 pots so he's obviously new to vaping and excited like we all were with our first mods and with time he will learn what's great in the ecig world. I know I went through the learing process myself.

Just because I only have 11 posts, does not mean I am new to vaping. I have tried box, pass thru, tube mods. I have gone thru many tank mods and also created some of my own tank mods.

Yep, I'm in the wrong. I apologize again.

I think I am a pretty sane person. I did try the Buzz. It a great mod, but not for me.

I just chose the GG for the simplicity and didn't want to keep messing around w/ VV.

Finally, Buzzkill, the NotCig's staff and those whom support the "Buzz/Infinty", again I truly sorry for coming in here and throwing the GGTS brand around. I truly no intentions of doing so. I am not out to create a GG vs Buzzkill vs AA box, vs Xbox vs PS3....war.

Do the sox on really make that much of a difference??? In my experince if it is good, its good sox on or off! As a matter of fact it should be good enough to "blow your sox" off... which means you should at least start with your sox on... The hubby who lurks this forum by reading over my shoulder (but will probably never make a post) is doing so now and added, he can be wearing a viking hat and it wouldn't make a difference!

Maybe that should be the contests winning slogan...

"I could be waering a viking hat and it wouldn't make a difference notcigs pro line is THAT good"

or simply

"So good it will blow your sox off"

maybe

"sox on or sox off, who cares if you have a buzz pro"

OK, yes it is sunday and I feel a little giddy, finally a sunny warm day here in north west montana and wearing shorts is almost a possibility. The thought of taking the labs down to lake later today for fetch has me very excited. Almost excited enough to not mope over waiting for my Buzz!

It can be a daunting task learning how to navigate a forum as huge as this one Bonehead, apologies accepted with no hard feelings :) You are correct, we all have our preferences and if everyone liked the same thing then there wouldn't be so many PVs to choose from! I wish you the best of luck in your vaping journey!

I agree, being new to any community always brings the worry that you are being politically correct to the communities expectations! My reply was not intended to send anger his way. I clicked on his link, looked at the device, decided it was to pricey for what it did and the button placement did not have someone with very tiny hands in mind and let him know. Who knows maybe the buzz won't be for me... I've never tried a mod. I've done my research though and have very high expectation that it will be. There is really not much now that can change my mind, so others can throw whatever sugestions at me they wish. A quality unit is of course important in deciding, but customer service and community go a long way. BuzzKill has gone above and beyond to answer my questions, and the Notcigs community is the best.

Bovinia, I do not know if you realize it, but the concept at the end of your post could make a good slogan for the contest. Something along the lines of... "Up until now we needed 100's of PV to choose from, not any more! Notcigs Pro Line the Only choice!" That is worded horribly, but the concept is yours so I thiink you should play with it!

Maybe I'll play with it later, but I have already submitted enough slogans for a life time. Besides I already stole the photo of your Infinity to shove in uncle sams mouth... I really have to get back to work and focus my creativity there. There are websites to be made and print ads to be designed. I keep getting started & then get sucked back here.

If I do play with it and it wins, we can split the buzz! I'll keep it from January to June and you can have it from July through December.

No but what you posted about getting rid of the Original Variable Voltage Buzz and replacing it with a fixed voltage battery holder (at twice the cost) means you are either new or living up to your name. That would be like someone trading a Maserati for a Kia Rio that cost 4 times it's base price.
