Do the sox on really make that much of a difference??? In my experince if it is good, its good sox on or off! As a matter of fact it should be good enough to "blow your sox" off... which means you should at least start with your sox on... The hubby who lurks this forum by reading over my shoulder (but will probably never make a post) is doing so now and added, he can be wearing a viking hat and it wouldn't make a difference!

Maybe that should be the contests winning slogan...

"I could be waering a viking hat and it wouldn't make a difference notcigs pro line is THAT good"

or simply

"So good it will blow your sox off"

maybe

"sox on or sox off, who cares if you have a buzz pro"

OK, yes it is sunday and I feel a little giddy, finally a sunny warm day here in north west montana and wearing shorts is almost a possibility. The thought of taking the labs down to lake later today for fetch has me very excited. Almost excited enough to not mope over waiting for my Buzz!
Love the viking helmet reference. Give the hubby a thumbs up :)
No but what you posted about getting rid of the Original Variable Voltage Buzz and replacing it with a fixed voltage battery holder (at twice the cost) means you are either new or living up to your name. That would be like someone trading a Maserati for a Kia Rio that cost 4 times it's base price.

HEY dont knock the Rio ;( My wife had a rio and it rocked! LMAO Got better gas mileage than anything weve owned.

Do you have a mod yet?

Unfortunately, no. In fact, the only thing I have even tried in my 1 year of vaping is the Blu (which I started out with, sent back within 4 days, bad bad experience) and the Janty eGo/Tornado. I had heard about mods, but was not that knowledgeable about them (I thought they were all ugly looking black plastic boxes). Then I started checking mods out for real when I read people raving about them. The Buzz was actually one of the first two mods I heard about that weren't box mods. Kinda funny it is also the one I want (well, the Pro version now).

Thanks Rosco! I feel very warm and fuzzy inside. >:} And a little impatient. Idk why, but I keep going to notcigs.com and checking on the Pro. I am very OCD about a PV I want, I guess.

I've been doing the same thing! I have spent hours on notcigs.com for absolutely no reason, just clicking around! I haven't tried a mod either, and I have very high hopes for this one! I never tried the blue. My husband brought home one that was just as useless (I forget the name now) we upgraded to the 510 within days and then the ego/tornado!

Have you decided what attys/cartomizers you are going to use with your new toy when it arrives?

Several posts back I declared this thread as my very own "keep me company while I wait three long weeks for my Buzz Pro thread." I am happy to share it with you and we can keep eachother company while we wait!

Hey all I am heading off to sunday dinners at my moms house, but before I go I have a question.

My husband has decided he wants to send his mom an ecig and get her off the stinky sticks (i forgot who I stole "the stinky sticks" from, but I still really like that) any way, I am feeling cheap lately and do not want to spend a bunch of money. And if it turns out anything like my mom and e-cigs it could be wasted money (but at least that was her own money) I do have the 4 janty sticks and as you all know tons of atomizers for it, but my feeling is that might not be the best weapon of choice for someone who has never vaped before. What do you guys think. If you all agree I will probably have to buy something new. It will obviously not be a $100+ mod, so what suggestions does everybody have that will be pretty cheap but a good intro to vaping.

Off to dinner now!

I will probably just keep using Genuine Joye 510 atomizers. I might get some HV ones if they work better. I would have to try it first. The only cartomizers I tried were lr and they were good, but they did not last long at all. So I went back to atties.

Hey moo, I think that a good PV for your MIL to start off with might be a Riva. Liberty Flights has kits listed for $37.49 but if you click the 20% discount box at the top of the page they're only $30.00. You get a kit with two 750 mAh batteries and two attys. I think the titanium (gold) ones look nice. here's a link: Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510
If she likes that though you'll have to make her get an Infinity Pro sometime down the road.

Oh yeah, look for the Riva Lite package on that page.

The new 14500 and 18650 noEGO that are being sold at Jazz Cartopipe are sweet. If you want 3.7V and simplicity for cheap thats the way to go. For plain ol sticks I still use my V4L batts.
I was going to recommend both of these as well. They're inexpensive and a good starter point. That's how I got my friend to try vaping and he quit that way. He's now getting into mods. The noEGO would probably be a better choice since batteries are cheaper/universal and easier to find.

Moo, I have gone through more MODs than I care to remember $$$$. The BUZZ PRO is the one VV I now want to purchase. I purchased a BUZZ many months ago and the improoved battery life and wheel adjustment of the new PRO has me waiting patiently (NOT) for what I expect to be my perfect PV. In the past I have waited to hear user reviews prior to purchasing a newly designed PV but due to my experience with NOTCIGS and their reputation I plan to get one as soon as they are released.

BTW one PV that was suggested here drove me insane (almost) due to the constant upkeep and polishing needed to keep it looking decent.

Still waiting..............................

Thanks for the input. I have decided on the Buzz Pro, but it is always nice to here positive feed back once you have decided. I already feel like one of the gang, and I have never even held one. I am hoping this will be the first and the last mod I have. New versions not included. I see so many with tons of mods, If they are doing it because they are really dedicated and can afford to, more power to them. But if they did it because they were looking for one they liked better, well I do not want that to be me! Every time I see someone with a huge collection, the first thought is "Wow that must have cost a TON of money"

I decided after I turned 41 it was time to treat myself to a nicer car. I will not do loans so have always driven a $19,000 or less car. So, deciding I deserved it... I went out and purchased an Audi TT. Now I have buyers remorse and feel VERY poor. I am not upset about the car it is awesome. But I do not want to spend $1,000+ looking for the right mod.

It is time to register it tomorrow and I need to come up with a good idea for a vanity plate.

I feel the same way. I want a mod, because my eGo sometimes has it hard satisfying me and the batteries are FAR cheaper. Other than that, I could live without one.

P.S. I wonder if you could have "IBUZZ" on the plate? You know what? Dumb of me to ask. Of course they wouldn't, lol.

The Infinity was really designed to be a starter PV , I have no intention of putting out a battery holder at this time . IF I could design a low cost variable then I would BUT the qty in sales is not there IMO ( need to sell 10,000 to make it work ) .
You might be able to do it with a fixed regulator at 4.7 volts ?? but it would have to be a linear reg,. like the older Buzz type units and that causes some MFG problems and extra cost.

I agree with that Mike. Before you came out with variable voltage I made and used 5 volt fixed PVs and since then they are in my junk box or have been given away. I wouldn't have or wish a fixed voltage mod on anyone. Variable Voltage is the only way to go. If you buy other fixed first it will end up being wasted money once you find a Buzz or Infinity. If I had someone starting out in vaping I'd get them an Infinity and start them out right. The rest of them are just glorified 7/11 store disposable ecigs.
