did you felt the batteries hot pt? I am trying to see if a short circuit happened. You have to take care of the spring. Dont put the batteries first and then the front cap because spring will not go straight to the battery ad it will touch the inside of GG.

If you burned atties that means that the current flows, so no cleaning is needed.

Dont overscrew the atomizers because you will not damage GG but atomizers.

I hope that you didnt put 2 x 3,7 batteries inside by mistake

Thats all I can think right now exept of crappy batteries and crappy atomizers of cource.

imeo.
maybe it was the spring connection.
should i install batteries from the bttm by the bttn? i hv been installing batteries from the first screw below the atty.
i am using 3.7 single battery and two 3v batteries.

Some people have mention to me the same problem and when I asked them what exactly they did, they told me that when they had the batteries inside the GG, they unscrewed the button's cap and then they screwed it again. If you do this , the spring will bend for sure and it will touch the inside of GG.

Please pt, take a look at spring and put it in straight place again if for some reason is bended:)

You cant bend the spring on the GGTS because its so small that it cant bend and touch the inside of GG

so on the ggt we should alway install batteries from the bttm side?

you can put batteries from any section pt and please put the negative pole to the button. Putting the positive pole to the button will still works but its another reason that spring will slide and touch the inside of GG:)

Yes my friend pt, atty can be blowed from a short. If you put the batteries right then no problem of cource:)

Imeo,
I was afraid you would say that. I took apart the ggt after watching the cleaning/sanding video yesterday and that must have been how the spring went to the side a little.:(
In a few minutes I blew out my only AFS atty and 2 out of my only 4 901 attys. I thought it was 3 out of 4 but one started working this morning after making a loud Pop sound:confused:
I am really hoping Rob's get parts on his site soon or I may be in a real bind.
I guess I can soak the dead ones in vodka or mouthwash just in case.
What is strange is the problem occured in the middle of vapng, not after putting in the batteries.
Maybe I could hv a problem with the point that touches the atty. How can I check/adjust that?

are you using any battery spacers? I don't see how the spring could touch both the battery and the side of the GG. I am sure anything is possible.. but having trouble seeing how this could happen. I think you might be right that a possible short in the atty connection could be the culprit.

Its easy vapn. Put the batteries inside and then try to screw the button's cap. The spring will touch the battery and the case together in most times.

But pt said that this occured at the middle of vapind, someyhing I didnt knew , so I am sure that the batteries are faulty.:)

no spacers. i am using the same batteries i have used all week and the same batteries are working on my two remaining attys so not sure that is it.
i am hoping the atty connection might be the issue. anyway to know for sure or adjust that part?
could some liquid in that area cause a problem? i keep it clean and dry the best i can.
maybe i should get a tester for the attys. what kind do i need?
