This is the wick I'm using. It's easy to work with and lets the flavor of the juice come through, but you CANNOT let it get dry. When it's dry and you hit the power, it goes FOOF and burns away to ash.

I'm using 34ga nichrome, and I find it to be too thin. Two wraps and I'm already at 3.0ohms. I've learned to double it up and twist it (it looks like a roundwound guitar string when I'm done) and I can now make LR coils with 4 or 5 wraps. I'll be using 32 or 30 when this batch runs out so I don't have to double it up.

Thank you, sir - I'm fairly certain that it was your post that led me to my purchase of that wick ;-)

I don't have a rebuildable yet but I've messed around with rebuilding clearos, etc. This place was recommended to me for nichrome80 wire pnjresources.com. I haven't ordered from them, so really can't say. Just thought I'd pass it on. I have some 36ga nichrome60 from madvapes, but I haven't had much luck with it. Oh and I've been using rolled cheesecloth for wick.

Thanks for the tip, davelog. I'm off to try doubling and twisting.
