Need help getting started

ok now that the NY Indians where shut down I need an alternative. No more cigs from them anymore....

My doctor has been telling me about these for awhile. I like the Mad Vabes site it seems like you get it fast. So as I read all the post my brain is spinning!!!!!!


Which one to get everyone keeps talking about the 501 but the 901 is a bigger number are they any better.
I am a 2 pack a day smoker. So am looking to replace that habit. How much liquid would I need per week to replace that habit. And what kind would make me get that same feeling of the smoke.
And I am also a camper with no electricity for days. Panic Panic what are my options

You'll quickly learn to realize that the model numbers mean absolutely nothing other than a way to differentiate between the atomizer types and some of the brands. An electronic is 2 or 3 components usually:

Battery
Atomizer
Cartridge

OR

Battery
Cartomizer (Atomizer and cart bundled in one package)

I would suggest getting a 510 from a reputable brand/company. This seems to be the best starting point for new e-cig users that don't have any experience vaping yet. It's a great atomizer as long as you don't get a knockoff version of a 510.

There are so many variables when it comes to this question. Everyone asks it, but the best way to find out is from personal experience. Some liquids have better throat hit than others as well as vapor production. These are the types of liquids you want to get. I know that is not much information on where to get the "right" kind of liquid, but I really don't like to push around company names to newer users and act like a sales person.

You will, however, find that the really bad vendors get a bad rep on these forums. The opposite occurs for the really good vendors. So take some time to browse around the vendor section of liquid supplies and read some reviews about the different flavors if you want to do it right on your first purchase of e-juice.

If you have a situation like this, I would definitely suggest an eGo or Tornado. They have long lasting batteries (10 hours or so). You could also get a 510 and then get a AC adapter for your car and charge your batteries that way. Either way you go, you will definitely want to at least have a minimum of 2 batteries with you at all times.

after a lot of research the ego was my first pv purchase. after 3 months i am still happy with the decision i made. i bought from janty. if i was to buy again i would use goodprophets. the price for 2 egos is 89, but the extras packed with make up for the extra price.
on the matter of vapor with your volcano, sounds like a liquid problem. if your getting vapor in your mouth but not exhale. try a cart from a different source or buy liquid to fill an empty cart. you may find you like it better when you get the visual feedback from your exhale.

it does help thank you I am ordering tomorrow after reading this board and other places. My friends are all excited at the possiblity of no smelling like smoke and I am the test pilot I think the ego seems to be an option and the car charger if I am reading in the end this is an investment that will save on so many levels. I will get a few differnt kinds and mix it up worst comes to worse I will drink the stuff...jk

Also, one more piece of information you may like to know. The eGo/Tornado is really just a "510 on crack" as everyone puts it so eloquently on ECF. It uses a 510 atomizer with a high capacity mAh battery (650 mAh on the normal, 1000 mAh on the megas) and the cone that goes over the atomizer is supposed to warm the air around the atomizer to allow the atty to heat up faster.

Looks like Burn is on his way, so maybe I can point you to some things before you get info overload!

Regarding shipping, most ecf approved suppliers ship fast. If it's hardware, many will have in the mail the same day that you placed your order. Read their reviews in ecf's supplier forum.

These will provide you with a solid knowledge foundation on which to build on so that you won't feel overwhelmed (and they have neat pics so you can see what all those model #'s look like).

Because of your camping, look at bigger battery models. I have eGo's from Cignot and just ordered Riva's from VaporJunction. Loved my eGo's but went w/ Rivas because of good reviews, larger capacity battery, looks, and much less expensive. Both vendors are super quick, in the mail the same day (VJ less than an hour after placing my order).

thank you everyone.Looks like I will be sicking around. I am a bit excited about this. I am looking at all the people here and this really seems to be a true chance to not be the smelly smoker! And the creative side of me is looking at the recipes area and thinkig this can be fun.

Get more than one liquid flavor, maybe a smaller size if you're on a budget or a few small sizes if you want variety and need to justify the shipping lol, and get it from somewhere other than your hardare supplier -the jucie makes the experience, trust me on this one lol.

Don't order just a battery...or just an atomizer. You will need a complete eGo kit. How will you vape when your battery is charging (it takes 1,5 hours to charge the eGo on the usb fast charger).

Go for a kit.

You forgot to mention that's a SINGLE eGo. They advertise DUAL kits when there is no such thing. A Joye kit is always "dual". They ship the new kits with 2 complete eGo's.

Even if they have a nice offer on the "Dual" kit, i wouldn't buy from a vendor that masks prices that way.

I just received my kit. It is a DUAL kit. 2 of everything, except the charger. I also got a free 15ml bottle of their American Blend e-liquid. Great deal! I recommend NicotineNirvana wholeheartedly!

yes go with the tornado or ego.. Batts last all day and if you use 510 cartomizers you cant go wrong.. Lots of vapers and good taste to...
