But there is always a new and better "Shiney" coming out!

Innokin iTaste

Recommends voltage range, tells the puffs remaining, pass-through charging, pen clip, no threaded connections, battery indicator and 3 low battery warnings!

And it's "Shiney"! Also won't roll off of a table! Lol

BTW - thanks a lot XP3  - I went and bought the innokin iTaste - I am so out of control it is pathetic.

Checked my tracking and it says "delivery by June 1". So tomorrow should be the big day! Not sure how it's going to get here in a day though, as according to the tracking info, it's still in Washington!

Yep the tracking for usps is not very.good. I ship lots of product via usps and they dont update it real time or they miss updates in between. I ship alot of UPS too and they are usually pretty accurate.

Well now I have my hopes up so I will be pretty disappointed if it doesn't come tmrw - however, USPS delivers on Saturday so that's a good thing!

I am also hoping on Saturday. I got sucked into buying an ego twist. Got one cheap from a vendor in Atlanta coming to me in western NC. I am hoping they shipped it same day.

I am hoping to make it my main backup and use it when I go out to bars, ect.

I will keep my one kgo battery as a third emergency backup. The black coating is coming off and it looks bad.

Hi all,

I'm looking into purchasing a ProVari (mini) or an eGo Twist, however, I'm up for any other suggestions. My question is, is 4.8 v enough? ProVari at 6 v - do you all actually vape at 6 volts? And if so, how often and is it worth getting (for the amount of times I would actually use more than 4.8 v). Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but it seems to me that vaping at over 4.8 might make the juices taste burnt??

Thanks for any help - and if there is something between the ProVari and eGo twist that might be better, I am open for all suggestions. Thanks

I've got both, dearie...and they both have applications...both are in silver, so everyone assumes they are inhalers, and when asked, I often reply that "indeed, it iS a vaporiser" albeit, many young people who "know what it is" quietly give me a "thumbs up" sign, or flash their own PV my way...

I tend to utilize my ProVari at home and my ego when I am out and about...I only switch my ProVari to the higher voltages when I have a rather inexpensive or tasteless juice which needs an extra bit of heat to mature the flavor...life is too short for cheap juice!

I'm looking forward to testing out different flavors (as I've yet to find an all day vape) - I've got at least 30 different flavors to go through, and hoping that the Provari will boost the flavor of some of them

If it was shipped USPS, then the tracking info means nothing. When I ordered my KGO from DarkCityVapor in North Carolina, he shipped it the same day and the USPS tracking for 3 days showed it to still be in NC. Then it just showed up at my home in Texas. The USPS tracking is a joke - a bad one, but a joke nonetheless.
Actually, I think it's a disgrace that smaller or less advanced and even some 'third- world' countries all have traceable and/ or trackable mail, but not the great and powerful USA lol.

I would recommend the ProVari. I've tried both units, and the thing I like about the ProVari is that you can check the resistance of your cartomizer, atomizer, wth-izer. With that, you can then adjust the voltage according to how many watts you want going through your juice.

The other thing about the ProVari, is the extended life batteries. I carry a few with me around all day (in case of high-wattage chain vaping ;-) ). At first, its a little crazy carrying around the gear, but I can vape without being by an electrical outlet.

The Twist is good if you have backups (as other posters like Malduk and others mentioned) because you can still get higher wattage.

My last plug for the ProVari would be that it has a one year warranty and is as solid as a tank! It got me off smoking and I can't see myself having another mod.

Laura, there are no stupid questions, haha.

Your standby battery will actually drain a little bit. I get paranoid about it because I've been trying to measure how long a batt lasts me the past couple weeks, but the discharge is very minimal.

NerdAlert: All batteries will discharge as they sit (especially rechargeable) because of chemical reactions. I just went over to Wikipedia and it explained that batteries will discharge quicker when kept in hot places. Self-discharge - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia /NerdAlert

Basically, keep your standbys cool and all will be well.
