Provari vs. twist

Just kidding we all know the answer to this.

But my novas do have dry hits vs the twist. I don't think even at 4.8 it was actually 4.8. I never had dry hits at 4.8 whith the twist and now with the provari 4.4 is the highest I can take it with chain vaping and get no dry hits.

Not an expert here, but maybe you need to try a higher 2.8 OHM head with the Provari. Also, don't forget the TWIRL thing everyone talks about with the Vivi.

I twirl constantly and I make my own coils. Currently using a 3.1 ohm. I put it on the twist at 4.8 and no dry hits the second I put it one the provari it gets dry about the 3rd hit at 4.5. The warmth is about the same though in my provari at 4.4 and the twist at 4.8

I don't think I have seen anyone do a test on the twist to see how accurate it is.

4.8 on the twist is not the same (true) 4.8 that the provari shows. I'm sure the voltage drops underload with the twist.

Hey Eblyth, if you're doin' your own coils anyway why not try wicking with
cotton instead of silica. I find they wick better than silica in my stardusts.

i could be wrong, but im pretty sure a dry hit has nothing to do with the battery, i would think it'd be a wicking issue. turn the volts up, atty gets hotter, burns more of the juice out of the wick, corresponding hits to a dried out wick = dry hits

I don't think I have seen anyone do a test on the twist to see how accurate it is.

I can't remember his name, but he was doing a side-by-side comparison of the Twist and a VV 14500 eGo style and when he volt-metered the Twist is was jumping to vastly different numbers each time the device took a reading.

I like my Twists, but I'm not a bit upset about ordering a Provari.

I am turning the volts down I was just saying the twist is probably running quite a bit cooler than I have it set
