Hi all, been vaping for about 2 1/2 yrs. and have been lurking this forum for at least 2yrs.started out dripping with a T.W ego and 510 atomizers then to 306 atty's.Tried carts boog, smoktek but didn't care for either. Now i'm looking to get an rda but way too many choices.
I've had my provari for about 6 weeks and am looking for something that has a fairly easy learning curve, as far as rebuilding is concerned.thinking an igo-w or something like The diver or killer 705 but not sure if they can be used as strictly a dripper.
any help would be much appreciated.also open to suggestions
thanks,laxkraap

Both The Trident and Nimbus originated from the Philippines, but there are clones of both available. The Nimbus has just normal holes, not adjustable ones, but that wouldn't be a bad choice either.

The trident looks to have split threaded posts.would it be easy to shear the wire for coil or am i overthinking things?
Nevermind, brainfart, looks to have a positive stop, so to speak.much to read and learn

You can't go far wrong with an IGO-W to start.

I use the IGO-L. Has a large deck for ham-fists like me, big drip cup and is easy to set up for single or dual coils.

Even easier would be something like a bulldog that has the holes in the posts for the wires, but it does have a much smaller deck so might be more fiddly.

Not saying the trident is hard to set up by the way and I like the adjustable airflow on it too - but I haven't tried one so can't recommend.

Thanks aglet.
Seems like the more i read/research the less i 'think' i know. may just have to jump in and see if i sink or swim.

You can get an IGO-L clone for $7.67 from $7.67 IGO-L Rebuildable Stainless Steel Dripping Atomizer - double heating wires / 1.6ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping They take paypal, but just remember to pay the upgraded shipping (costs maybe 50 cents extra) so it doesn't come by carrier pigeon. Air hole might be a little on the small side, but it's the one I got - in fact I got a few RDA's from fastech just to learn with. I am sure you can also get them from US vendors for around $12.

I think you can get the bulldog from OKC vapes - that is the only place I have seen them in stock. The Bulldog Rebuildable Atomizer for $9.

But I think you are right, just buy one - at the very least you will learn a great deal about building coils, airflow, wicking etc. etc. and then you can decide what you like and don't like about the RDA and buy another to go with your preferences.

Hi there. I just started vaping and wanted a dripper as well. I like the one mentioned by Aglet, but somehow missed it? Anyways I got myself one of FastTech's RDA Mini Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer (1.0mL). Looked nice, I wanted small as I only have eGo batteries, and cheap. But mainly the size was a factor for me. Also it has knurled posts to rebuild, meaning no tools required. Anyways hope you find what you like.
