I've been trying to drip into an atty so I can try out the different flavors I have. I'm using a Joye 2.0ohm atty. I've been taking the drip tip off and dripping straight down into the atty. I'm also using a cone that came with my kGo. Sometimes I'll use between 3-6 drops. Last night I was doing this and wound up with a mess all over my shirt. Can someone tell me if I'm suppose to drip right through the tip or pull the tip off first. Also I'd like to get a "Drip Shield?" Do these help? And finally how many drops should I use?
For the first time in over a year I didn't have to take a breathing treatment yesterday so I know for sure that this is better than all the analogs I was using. Still have em for my crutch but don't burn near as many.

I agree with Strigoi, I usually get roughly 3-6 toots or puffs from 3-4 drops. Try not to "flood" the atty as they call it. If puffing produces a gurgling sound, chances are you added to many drops. That however with eventually vape away as well. Additionally you may vape up those drops faster with a lower ohm atty because they burn hotter and in a sense use the drops of juice up faster. You will get a fee for it with some trial and error. I was horible dripping at first, so dont beat your self up ya know. I tend to over drip myself. In time you will love dripping. In my opinion I tend to think direct atty dripping gives me the best overall flavor of juices I use over other methods of vapor delivery.

I understand where you're coming from, OP.

To answer your questions:

1) I do take the drip tip off and drip directly into the atty. I've found trying to drip directly into the tip makes the juice stick to the drip tip and not drop into the atty. I love my juice, but I don't want it all over my tongue. ;-)

2) I never use more than 4 drops. That lasts about the length of a normal analog cigarette, depending on how hard and how frequently you puff. A lot of my fellow coworkers who vape love to take DEEP, DEEP hits, but I'm not of that mentality. I don't have to feel like I'm sucking on the end of an exhaust pipe to get my fix.

3) I use four components to drip:

a) the battery itself (your's could be an eGo, Kgo, Provari, etc.) Mine is the 510 Kgo VV.

b) the atty itself (low resistance 1.8 ohm joyetech atomizer).

c) a cone that screws over the atty.

d) plastic drip tip.

That's all I use to vape, other than juice. It's more simple than it sounds or looks online. If you have any more questions, ask, and I will do my best to answer them.

Not to offend, but sometimes I need people on this forum to explain things to me as if I were a child. You can't dumb this stuff down for me too much. "You get A. A screws into B. Push the Button on B to make A work." I need that kind of simpleton advice sometimes, and I'm not too proud to admit it. :)

EDIT: I forgot to include:

Nicotine strength. I get 25 mg nicotine strength in all my juices. This is for a reason: When I vape 24 mg juice, even if it's a couple of puffs, I'm getting an inordinate amount of nicotine into my system, WAAAY more than an analog would provide. So I puff less frequently than I would if smoking a real cigarette, or a lower-nicotine level juice. That leads me to less puffing, and still lowers my nicotine cravings.

Also, minor note, and this is just my own personal opinion, but I hate the term "toot". Sounds....... ghetto (for multiple reasons). But that's just my opinion. Don't let it affect you!

Thanks all. I've never thought of using the 24mg. I just been trying out all the flavors I've bought so far. And before anyone ask yes they taste different if you drip, carto, or clearo. This much I've learned so far. I finally got a coconut filled 2.4 ohm stardust to start tasting like I want it to.
Also I still think a drip shield would be a good idea cause I have to wear a class B uniform during the summer and a class A in the winter. Can't afford to make the higher ranks mad at me. lol I've already been written up for analogs. Just told them to tell me where to sign.

I use 3-4 drops to refill my Joye 510 2.3 ohm atomizer, depending on the size of the drops from the bottle I am using.
However, I do use 5-6 drops to refill it when the atomizer has been completely cleaned or blown out.

I usually get at least 4 or maybe 5 drags, but I do take pretty large drags.
And I am vaping at 5.0 volts so I'm using up the juice pretty fast.
