You may be able to send it back. I'd contact them right away.

I have been thinking about it, I think that I am going to give the V2 kit to my wife, she smokes about 1/2 pack a day, so batteries should be less of an issue. She is a domestic engineer and doenst leave the house too much, she can use the power cig option at her computer as well. I think I am going to order an EGO for myself. Looking at the site now, tying to fugure out wich one to buy and which options. EGO, EGOT, T REX... I think the T REX is a regular EGO with 1100 mah batteries and I have heard the EGO T either leaks or doesnt give good draw or flavor is airy... not sure here.

Yes, there are a lot of other suppliers.
Yes, the price of their batteries are higher than other kr808d-1 batteries.
But, what's wrong with their price of cartomizers? Seems reasonable to me. Which one did you compare to, if I may ask.
(Don't tell me it's that if you get 40 cartomizers, the price will be higher than getting 2x 20 cartomizers. I still don't know why they haven't fix that stupid mistake)

I didnt compare carto prices as I have heard hardware sites don't necessarily have the best tasting juice / cartos so looking elsewhere due to that.

For manual ones, you have the choice of:
Elegant Easy, iGo, Lecig's PigCig and vGo

For automatic ones, currently there's only one choice: Echo

And, there is always the option of getting a 510->kr808 adapter

Thanks very much for the specific site info on battery options espresso!

Eventually, you will learn to clean those prefilled cartomizers, either from here on ECF, or on YouTube, and start refilling those cartomizers with liquids you buy from other suppliers.

Regardless of how much you spent on your first kit, at least you DID buy one! Congratulations on making the change to a better life!

There is such an overwhelming amount of info regarding e-cigs that it can exceptionally daunting to finally choose one. Whether or no it is the perfect unit for you, only time will tell.

Read until your eyes bleed, ask as many questions as you can possibly imagine, sample juices from vendors all over the world and NEVER pick up another analog. Personally, I think you made a wise choice.

That's a good point. I think I read here for 3-4 months before I bought one. I kept getting overwhelmed with info. I'd make up my mind to get one thing and I'd read something and I'd completely change my mind.

You just have to jump in. I wish I would have started sooner.

Your very welcome!

You're here now, that's what matters. You'll find a tremendous amount of help and guidance, as well as different opinions on just about everything you can imagine. You're going to find that what works perfectly for some doesn't work at all for others. It's a very subjective thing, vaping.

Remember to take it all in stride. This is very rewarding and tons of fun! Just wait until you get to go to a vapefest, vapestock, vapeapalooza...you'll be amazed at all the stuff you'll see. Most likely there is a local group near you that meets from time to time and you can really become exposed to all the woderful mods and juices out there.

I wish you all the best!

Thanks, I am just having buyers remorse with the purchase of the V2 kr808d1 model and I don't even have it yet (its in the mail). Especially with all the talk about the reo 510, I smoke so much (2 paks a day), that I'm afraid I will fail on the conversion to vaping if I don't order 510 conversion stuff for the kr808d1 so I can have more options ( or at least thats what I'm thinking as a newbie). I'm just really anxious and afraid here, I am embarrased to admit it, but smoking rules my life, I can't do anything or go anywhere without making sure I have enough smokes and I can't hardly get anything done without thinking of my next smoke break (at work). Its crazy that I have allowed myself to be ruled by this...
I hve been vaping for 17 months after smoking 2 or 3 packs of analogs a day for 30 yrs. I have tried EVERYTHING there is concerning the 510 stuff and always considered going back to cigs; however after getting the 808d these outpreform the 510 hands down, that is with the realistic cigs models. The cartomizers, batterys, and all out do the 510.

Hey Xanalog!

I, too purchased the Ultimate Kit. I quit smoking analogs after 30 years 1 to 1.5/ppd and 07/07 will be 30 days for me, so I'm grateful to the kit for that. After getting the kit - I really like the 808 design. It's easy. I also prefer the XLs. I initially got 2 with my Ult Kit and so far, for the XLs, they last all day and I've topped one off every morning and get a full charge in about 30-40 minutes. The only other stuff I use out of my Ult Kit is the USB Charger and the pass through. The shorties were not for me - died after a few hours.

I quickly bypassed the prefills and went right into filling my own cartos with juice - because of the bazillions of flavors. I personally do not like not being able to control the consistency of a prefilled carto. I'd be remiss if I didn't refer you to Vermillion River Ejuice! Simply wonderful juices. I smoked Marlboro Lights and I started out with 18-20mg of nicotine and it seems to be working for me!

I've since purchased other XLs from other suppliers at a lower price because I really like the simplicity of an 808, and I wanted different colors. I really like all of my XLs but my new ones from other vendors have died out during vaping and last about 6-8 hours. (V4L and LiteCigUSA). I'm not complaining by any stretch - I love them all - I just can't personally figure out why my original XLs are lasting twice as long on a charge. Upon physical comparison, the V2 XLs are slightly heavier and fatter.

I learned that the KR in the 808D-1 stands for Kangar or the manufacturer. Sometimes you just see 808D-1, which just means not manufactured by Kangar, but same threading.

I have a nice little 808 collection now..lol!! My next move, after one that I have completely crashes and burns is to continue my experiment with Bloog, the KR808D-1 from Nhaler (its the only KR808D-1 model I've found so far so trying in terms of Kangar vs 808s.) Myvaporstore also has some really good prices.

Personally the 808 just works for me and I do realize that down the road I could change my mind - but I doubt it. I like they way the look and work. My next step up from here is keeping an eye out on the G5 clearomizers. These are clear cartos w/o the batting - which I really like the idea of no batting and being able to SEE when my juice is about to run out!! When they perfect this...I think I'll be in the perfect spot!

Most of all - just DO IT!! Make the switch! I cannot believe how easy it's been to quit analogs and most of all, my wish for you is to just jump in. My biggest regret is not doing this sooner. Regardless of which way you start - this will be your new obsession and where you end up might be way different but the important thing is...go for it!!! Look how far I came in 30 days!

Welcome!

Thanks Blue! It's comforting to know that you like the V2 and it's styling. Really good info here, I think I will keep the V2 PV. Let me know more on those G5 clearomizers as you learn more. Thanks again!
