For a few months now, my husband and I have been using the DSE 901's. We purchased a couple of starter kits from E-Smokey Treats, a Joye 510, an assortment of liquids from Vixen Vapors, and hid our yucky gas station models in the junk drawer for an emergency.
So far, so good. I am an ex 14 year smoker, and he is ~20 years or so himself. We haven't cheated once.
(Because really, who wants to come home to someone sniffing your hair and clothes? Just kidding.)
Anyway, here's the problem. We just received new batteries & atty's, and within a couple of days the 901's tasted like burning plastic. Or socks. Or burning plastic socks, perhaps. We have cleaned them regularly - a couple times per week with 94% alcohol - and have even dripped a couple of liquid drops straight on the atty to counteract the taste. That didn't work, trust me. The liquids also don't seem to taste like anything anymore, and throat hit has gone down the tubes. I know some of the lighter flavors will have less of one, but "Hilton" wore off within a day.
Long story long, what would you all recommend for those who are looking to "graduate" from the starter kits? We prefer the 901 style and ideally great big clouds of vape with a decent throat hit - like everyone else, I'm sure.
