I've had my Twist for a week now and I love it. I like the 1000 mah battery - being my first upgrade I had nothing to compare it to and I really don't think it's too big. I also suggest getting some 510 cartos in addition to whatever it comes with. I received a few clearos and a carto tank with mine and they are usually awesome, but they can be a little annoying at times. The cartos are easy (if you don't get a dud). Good luck.
Oh, and I didn't get any attys because I didn't think I wanted to drip, now I quickly accumulating different juices to try and wish I had ordered some.

Ok, so i ordered my Ego twist kit and a few other things from a different site. I thought i site that i order my juice, attys and what not was NY based like the other site but, I was wrong. The other site was out of TX and will, I'm sure, show up later than my kit. Anyone know of a website i can get some juice and stuff that is close to Maine? I want to place another order so i can show up around the same time. Thanks again!

Ok so, I should finally have the money from Paypal in my bank tomorrow. I have decided to go with a Ego twist kit for me and my wife. I have asthma and had some issues when i first tried a store brand e-cig. Doing some research I have found most people with asthma do better with high or straight VG, or that's what i have seen. I'm going to get both high or straight VG and PG, just to test for myself.

So the question now it, what works best with high or straight VG. I know tanks do not work so well, again from what i have read. I have heard good things about PHOENiX™ Bottom Coil Cartomizers. Anyone know how that would work with VG juice?

BTW i love this forum, very friendly and helpful people!

I too have asthma and actually found a high PG/VG ratio(70-30 or 80-20) better.
YMMV don't over invest one way or the other to begin with.jmo.

Edit...I found my chest got heavier than normal for a few weeks after converting. Just used more ventolin and continued on "not" smoking. With both time and a higher PG content the asthma inhaler gets less use now.

If my clearo is relatively clean I have no problem dumping(or syringing) it back into the
original bottle after a short taste test.
A quick rinse out with water and I'm off to the next juice in the line-up.
Line them up from weakest to strongest flavour, as best you can assume, and start
with the weaker stuff.

Though I find the "Stardust" type clearos work best for this and they only need 1.5 mil. or so to fill.

In a pinch it may be worth a try.....:vapor:

Package received!!!! So yeah, i got my stuff and so far so good. I took a few rips off a 70/30 mix PG/VG mix i ordered and....so far so good, no tightening of the chest! Its kinda hard to judge the full feeling as I have a pretty nasty chest cold right now but, i know it's not like the some of the store brands i have tried. I also have a 100% PG free and a pretty high PG mix coming, just to experiment.

So a few questions. How do i know when the batts are charged? I saw that it should blink 5 times when you put it on the charge, but nothing where it said what indicated a full charge. Also, how long do they take to charge normally?

That's what i was thinking, but wondering if there was anything on the unit itself to indicate a full charge. I got a pack of the PHOENiX™ Bottom Coil XL 1.5ml Cartomizers and the first one i open had moisture in the "tank". I looked at the other ones and saw nothing. Question is, should i still use that one or, could something be wrong with it now like bacteria in it?

You have to get into the upper end units before you'll have some kind of charge indicator, for the most part. (My main unit has variable voltage and can display battery charge plus atomizer/cartomizer resistance.)

You could always rinse that phoenix in some alcohol and let it dry for a good while to get rid of that. I'm not sure that most bacteria would survive the PG of the juice, then being heated, but some bacteria is tougher than others. A good dose of UV light should kill any of the bacteria that would survive an alcohol soak if you want to be doubly sure.

Hey, thanks Hoosier. You have been a big help thus far and is greatly appreciated! One more question, what is the best way to store my e-liquid?
