Hey everyone. Was just going to do some shopping for juice and wanted to try out a cartotank. I know alot of you like IBTanked, and yet I can not wait to try one, I do not have the money for one ATM.(Maybe next week). I was looking on MtBaker and seen they have a couple. Was planning on getting one of theirs, with a couple Boge carto's(I believe I would just get the regular size, not XL) and a hole puncher. You think this will be good? Thanks!

Welcome , and sure , that's one way to try them out . I personally have kinda moved on from the carto tanks . I mostly use the rebuildables , and even some of the latest clearo's out on the market . That being said , there are alot of fans for carto tanks , and you might be one as well . I just never had a lot of luck with them . And don't know what carto punch you were looking at , but you can go to Lowes , or the Depot , and buy a 9 Plumbing ) saddle valve , for around 6 or 7 dollars . They work as good or better . IMHO Good Luck

Whichever tank you end up going with, make certain you fill it and the cartomizer properly. The two most common mistakes beginners make is not pre-filling the carto properly or attempting to fill the tank with the top cap off. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3710-5-cartomizer-tank-setup.html

Vaping on a cartotank may require a slightly modified draw technique than with other juice delivery devices. To prevent flooding the cartomizer, use long gentle draws of 3 - 6 seconds to allow the juice in the tank time to replenish what you vape. Think sucking on a straw in a milkshake. Drawing too forcefully can cause the carto to flood resulting in gurgling or even leaking.

Be aware that some flavors are not friendly to polycarbonate plastic tanks, which the tanks sold at Mt. Baker use. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...6-something-safe-cinnamon-citrus-flavors.html
