I recently ordered some of the nextel wicking material from sng vapor and am having a hell of a time trying to widen it out enough to sleeve any of my mesh wicks. wondering if anyone here has any good experience with it and if so how did you do it?
Using a mini torch, heat the Nextel until it's a glowing red. The Nextel will stiffen when it cools. Ue a mini phillips screwdriver in the end of the mesh, to enlarge it enough so that it will slide over your ss wick.
I was thinking more along the lines of a how to video as I can't seem to get it to stay together. a quick how to vid from someone who has it down would be nice.
