I'm thinking about getting an Ibtank, or a RBA(currently using protank V1), but not sure if it will do what I'm looking for.

Here's the problem: For the last 2 1/2 months or so, I lose taste after about 1/2 or 1 complete tank of fluid is used up. It's doesn't matter if it's a new coil, or one that I've used cheesecloth.

I am aware of vapemouth as I've had it before, but it has never lasted this long(if that is what's happening here). I've tried different flavors from different places and the result doesn't change. I'm wondering if it's the delivery device? If this is the case, it would be odd because when I first had these protanks, I didn't have this problem.

Can anyone chime in on this? I don't want to wast money on a new type of tank if that's not going to do the trick. If this problem persists, I'm going just start ordering flavorless liquid as there is no point paying for something I get very little enjoyment from. Guess I need to know if a change in tanks will make vaping as enjoyable as it was when I first started.

one last question:
I hear the steel mesh set ups last a lot longer than the standard coils or carto's...is this true?

If you are getting vapors tongue I would say drink a full glass of water and then get another device loaded up with medium to full flavor menthol. This usually works for me when I get vapors tongue and works quick and very well.

Yes a mesh wick typically, will last a little longer than a silica build but it all depends on the type of juice you are vaping as a mesh wick does get gunked up just like a normal coil.

When I first started, I was on an ego battery with a cheapy tank, vaping unknown juices from local cigar shops and was happy. After a couple weeks, I would get a debilitating dry mouth and throat to the point where I had trouble sleeping. I bought Mount Baker Vapor 100% VG juice and the issue more than went away.

However, you absolutely have to increase your water intake if you vape as much as I do. I use a bottom fed dripper at .49 ohms on my Reo and its a blast.

Short term fix? Gatorade. Namely the yellow varieties. Gatorade hydrates you extremely well and the yellow ones seem to coat your throat with a coating that makes you feel much better.

Mesh wicks last WAY longer than other wicks. I went a couple months on some of my RSST builds with a 2.2 ohm microcoil at 6 volts on my Provari. The heat somehow burnt a hole through the SS mesh though, so I worry that whatever was burnt through went to my lungs, but I didn't notice anything. Flavor is awesome on steel mesh, but I haven't found a satisfying build with mesh that wasn't on a Genesis atomizer. Genny's are probably the most advanced devices to build (correctly) and plague people with leaking, and dry hits until they figure them out. I do hollow wicks with microcoils and they hit like champs
