I was thinking about getting some plain glass tanks and doing my own artwork on them. If anyone has done this, will acrylic paint be a good choice for colour stability and wear?
I have gobs of nail art decorations that I think would look awesome on a tank or mod..would epoxy glue be a good choice? I don't want stuff to start peeling because of heat or normal wear.
Another thing - I would like to make my own skins..where could I get just plain (Iguess its a special acrylic) skin material that I could use to decorate over the top of?

Any suggestions/links, ect. would be much appreciated! :D

There's a line of paints you can get specially made for glass, can't recall the name off hand though. Once it sets (put in oven for X time) it's dishwasher safe. Give me a sec and I'll edit it in here.

Ah, the line of paint is called Vitrea 160, should be able to find it at an art/craft store, and multiple online shops carry it. I've read the markers can be less than great and run dry.
