sweet, yeah, it will come in handy. I am stuck on these cartos for the moment, but I am sure the novelty will wear off, and I will want to switch around to my other atty's again at some point. Seems to be how this stuff works. I am swimming in e cig parts now, about to take on my first mod: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/77007-3-minute-lighter-mod.html thinking about venting this, and possibly adding a juice bottle under the atty at some point, once I get the first mod working. I am still a bit unclear as to how well the bottom fed with the 1/16 OD copper tubing will work. Seems to work for another juice box mod. I have this tiny pump bottle that is about the same size as a AAA battery, so it just might fit in there. Still waiting for my lighters to get here, so I have time to think about it. In the mean time, the cartos will be my juice feeders ;)

I'd actually stick with the vapor9 cartos...they're supposed to produce more vapor and a smoother flavor like [company that shall not be named] "premium" cartos but their resistance is 3.1Ω instead of the lower Ohm of the premiums which means they shouldn't burn out as quick or taste burnt..they also hold more juice (1.4ml)... I'd pop the tops and do the initial fill with a syringe...
Oh and a drip tip like the 510/901 T-tips work AWESOME on cartos at 6V...

I'm really glad this came up. I placed an order for some of these today after reading this thread. I'm not a fan of regular cartos, and I'll never spend another dime with the company who sells the premium cartos, so I'm really happy to know that there's an alternative. I drip at home, but I love cartos when I'm out and about. And I had an email Q&A with Ben, and he seems very nice.

I've used my t-tip on cartos before, and I also use a 901 mouthpiece with the part of the end cut off. Cartos burn my lips otherwise.

I got my cartos from IkenVape (He had an 8 hour sale for 1.00 each and I was online at the right time). I, too had a unpleasant taste at first. It went away after I refilled it once. I would guess that some vendors' blanks have a little primer in the atty coil.

BTW, you don't need to do the spin method to get the effect. All the spin method does is bring the air bubbles out of the filler to the top of the cart, making more room for liquid. You can accomplish the same thing by capping the atty end with the .... plug and shaking the cart, plug end down. It's a heck of a lot easier than putting it in a baggie, and I don't wear a lanyard... I do this twice, once after the initial fill, and once after the second fill. If you don't do this, sometimes bubbles of air get trapped in the center tube which heat up and then pop while you inhale, shooting little drops of heat e-liquid into your mouth.

Letting it settle for a while will accomplish the purpose as well, but I like to keep my carts topped off when I have a chance (total terror of running dry)

Also, DON'T run the cart dry. If you do, the center wick will burn and you will be sucking ashes (nasty, nasty taste). If it starts to taste burnt, stop and switch carts or refill. This will also prolong the life of the carto.

Good Luck.

I just got my chucks and tried a 510at and v4lcarts, using atomic fireball in both. The 510 is nice and smooth with good throat hit and vapor. A 1/10 second draw from the cart is the equivalent of getting kicked in the chest by a mule. Something just isn't right with my carts. I even tried prefilled cola and was wiping away the tears upon regaining the capacity to breathe.

OK I have my cartos and I like them except there is a definite aftertaste that reminds me of the primer on 510's. It tastes horrible! Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to fix it? The cartos were blanks by the way.

I was just going to ask about the pop and hot liquid spew...I'll shake harder from now on. Every now and then I just get the liquid out the top too, is that from overfilling?
Other than that, these are so much less hassle than dealing with regular cartridges, flooded attys etc. I admit, I like to just chain vape so carto's seem to be the way to go for me. I have ordered almost 100 of them,, a few are prefilleds, actually don't care for the prefilleds.

I got 50 from puresmoker, the hard top ones but price was right. Tried some prefilleds from vapornine, has a funny taste and the V4L, I like the different colors so I can go with different juices and know right away what is in them. I did order a pack of their premium ones (with the soft top) I like them, but for now I have plenty of regular ones so I I put the soft ones away.

TV has pick your own flavor on special this week so I am gonna order up on some plain 48mg juice (I live in IL, I want to be prepared) and I need to steal some grocery money because Halo has a 30% off sale on Tuesday and I want to stock up on some Harley!

Needless to say, I've become quite a little monster. I still haven't even gotten to HV atty's and drip tips. Amazingly my hubby hasn't given me any crap. I managed to give up analogs completely over the past few months so he's all good with it and he hopes to do the same, especially since I've told him I don't feel near as tired as I use to and my sinus headaches are darn near gone. My fingers don't turn blue like they use to either.

While my Chuck was in the hospital I had ordered and received an eGo. I started using the eGo all the time and when I got my Chuck back I kinda put it on the shelf and went on with my eGo. My Chuck had broke only about a couple days after getting cartos. I used one on my chuck but never at 6v because I blew a 510 atty with my chuck not soon before I got my cartos.

However, a few days ago I decided to crack out the 3v batteries and my cartos and tossed them on my Chuck...

Wow, now I know what you are all raving about when it comes to cartos @ 6v.
Yum! Warm and always juicy.

Vapin some TV's butter rum and apple pie mixed together on a 510 carto at 6V's right now. This was always an okay concoction but yeah, very good flavors to vape on the warm side.
Chucklehead has me hooked on popping my top off and using a drip tip instead. I notice I get alot more vapor that way.

Yep, ordering drip tips and such meself.

I have one delfin/dolphin/plastic drip tip. I like it and I'm willing to make the switch but I think the plastic retains flavors. So, against my better judgment, I'm buying some from Heaven-Gifts.

Any opinions as to whether Type A or Type B is better?

Personally, type b would be my pick... which probably means everyone will love type a. :)

Usually how it goes.

I'm big on dedicating things to each flavor. All my atomizers have their own cart with their own flavor of liquid. (Pink = Mint Chocolate Chip; Copper = Chocolate; Green = Lime Lemonade; Red = Raspberry; Titanium = Peppermint) I have one delrin one I got from Super T but it holds enough of the taste that I want to wash it each time I switch it to a different atomizer. And, as long as I'm unemployed, I'm not buying a bunch of them at $8 each. Maybe once I'm working again...

That's why I suggested the nail stickers. You buy a package for a couple bucks at the walmart, walgreens or whatever it is you have nearby. There are usually about a half dozen different though similar designs in each package. I am gonna give it a try because I hate grabbing a filled cart to find out it wasn't what I thought or topping off with the wrong juice, though once or twice that worked out great.
