hey im michele i been smoking for ten years i love the taste and feeling, habit,and will i say comfort. well anyways its no good i need to stop and i like the idea of e cigs i am trying them but i feel like im sucking too hard to get just the tiny bit of vapor out and taste wise i wish it tastes like a menthol cig.any thing i can do?and is this a good way to quit? i plan on stepin the nicotine down and eventually have 0 nic at all. thank you in advance for your help.

Not sure if you already have an e-cig or PV setup yet but if you haven't, I highly recommend the eGo Twist and some sort of clearomizer/cartomizer system that can keep you vaping through the day. Used to smoke about 10 Newports a day, started vaping last week, and haven't craved or picked up a Newport since.
Not sure who makes it, but I picked up some juiced called Sub Zero from Digital Ciggz and it's got the menthol kick I was used to. Some on here say that you should actually experiment with flavors NOT like your old habit to help the process of switching much easier. I agree, some don't. Been vaping on Pink Spot Black Mamba for a few days now with a drop of the Sub Zero and am loving it.

I quit smoking 10 days ago! Using a cheap mini e-cig from the gas station. I smoked 99s and 100s at about 2-2.5 packs a day. I smoked for over 16 years. I tried nic gum and patches, even chantix, over and over again to no avail. E cigs saved my life! I would hafta say YES! They are delicious and don't stink or fill your lungs with ash or tar.
It's a bit of an adjustment at first, but after a couple days even messing up and smoking is completely unsatisfying. You've come to the right place!

im a menthol smoker myself. thank you for the advice! im still having a problem getting enough vapor through my throat. i think the throat hit? again, thank you everyone!
ps- i do have an ecig. its a volt with just the standard cartomizers. i have a few flavors but i havent found that menthol one yet. i love the taste of tobacco and the cool hit of the menthol.

Hey Shellee nice to see some locals (well kinda, poconos here)
So used to spelling it Shellie, thats my gf's name too.
Anyway, both of us have been cigarette free for a little over 2 weeks now. We started on the analog looking e-cigs. We both quickly moved up to bigger batteries though, kinda a pain when your on a 2 hour drive to south jersey and your vaping with one battery and charging the other. One thing we did notice is that if you take a slow deep drag (4 or 5 seconds) and inhale quickly seemed to get a better throat hit that way.
She was all menthol all the way lol, till she smelled banana when we got a sample pack.
Right now were ordering from altsmoke, they are only one state over in ohio and we get our packages within 3 days of ordering.

A ego twist will allow you to get more or less throat hit due to the variable voltage. They are great! I've smoked a pack and a half a day for 15 years and havent even wanted a cigarette. The egos do not look like a cigarette though, if that's what you're after. Keep it up!
